THREE MONTHS have already passed. Hershey and Glyde's closeness have also been noticeable. It was quite apparent that they are already beyond "friendship" but no one still knows what their status is.

Everyone at the company, including Hershey's father, is aware that between Hershey and Glyde, Hershey is the one who's more clingy and affectionate. That is why, everyone believes that Hershey is madly in love with Glyde and would do anything for him.

"Is she the one that everyone was talking about?" one of the employees whispered when Hershey walked pass them.

Hershey was currently on her way to see Glyde. Everyone is already used to it. She usually hangs around where Glyde is. Sometimes, she waits for him after his worm. They couldn't scold her and make her stop from entering, since she is the daughter of the owner of the company.

She doesn't annoy or bother anyone anyway so it was also quite fine. The only one she's bothering most of the time is Glyde. Which makes everyone think how could he handle her.

"Yeah. That's her. Some employees think that she pulled some strings for sir Glyde's promotion to be possible"

"Eh? Wouldn't that be unfair?"

The other employee smirked, "That's not all. They say that sir Glyde might just been using Hershey to climb up. Haven't you heard how sir Glyde let another woman enter his office earlier? She doesn't even works here and doesn't even have any permit to enter the building, but they said that sir Glyde personally let her in"

Hershey stopped from moving another step. She got bothered by what she have just heard.

Most rumors doesn't affect her at all, but she couldn't let this one pass.

A woman, huh?

She wonders who that possibly be. Just thinking about it makes her heart ache and pisses her off.

The employees who were gossiping earlier stopped talking when they noticed that Hershey heard all of it.

However, Hershey didn't approached them. She want to find the truth by herself.

Her facial expression and the way she walks seems normal, calm, and poised, but deep inside multiple of questions and insecurities were already creeping all throughout her system.

She went to the elevator. As soon as the elevator reached the floor where Glyde's office was located at, she breathe deeply in order to calm herself down.

But...

What she saw at his office completely broke her down.

No, Glyde was not kissing the woman. He was not even touching her nor smiling at her. He was just being his normal self.

In the eyes of anyone, the two of them were just having a normal and professional interaction.

This is not the case with Hershey's point of view though. What she sees is a woman, who have the possibility of stealing her man.

Especially when the woman, jokingly slapped at Glyde's arm. She really got annoyed.

It didn't last that long when Glyde saw her through the glass window. He immediately walked towards the door to open it for her.

"You're here," he greeted her.

She didn't smile nor gave him any response unlike what she usually does.

"What's wrong?" Glyde asked. Hershey knew that he immediately understood that she was not in a good mood. She is already aware how Glyde could read her like a book. He could quickly understand her.

Hershey took a glance at the woman that Glyde was talking with earlier.

"Oh, right. Hershey, this is Beatrice. She's one of my close friends. I was just talking to her about the project that we plan to collaborate with their team." Glyde introduced his friend to her.

"Hmm." Hershey just nodded pretending that she understands.

Glyde sighed and turned his head towards his friend. "Let's have a proper meeting next time, Beatrice"

Beatrice gave him a teasing smile, "Alright. Just call me whenever."

Hershey watched how Beatrice walked out of the office. Glyde let Hershey in and closed the door. He pulled the curtains to give them more privacy, so the others employees wouldn't see them.

Hershey slumped down on Glyde's office chair.

"You're mad," Glyde stated. He was not asking her, he was already sure of it.

He walked closer where Hershey is. He held her hands and kissed the back of it. "Tell me, what's the problem?" he carefully asked.

She raised her brow.

This is what he usually do when she's mad or annoyed at him. He would always ask her about it, and he would try to fix it. He would always try to appease her. He's always thoughtful and considerate  with her.

Because of those actions of his, she became more and more convinced that he is the only one for her. That Glyde is someone that others can't have.

When Glyde stared at her with those eyes, Hershey can't help but to cry.

"Hey, hey" Glyde immediately gave her a hug. He gently tap its back in order to solace her.

"Glyde," she called him.

"Hmm?"

Hershey pushed him. "That girl likes you"

Glyde eyes widened. He looked at the other way, probably thinking what would be the right words to say.

"You knew. Didn't you?" Hershey figured it all out. Of course, she would notice! She's a girl and she knows when someone have their eyes on something that she also have her eyes on.

Glyde sighed as he nodded.

"Damn it!" Hershey cursed.

"I don't like her, Hershey" he reassured her.

But that didn't make it any better for Hershey.

"Glyde," she calls his name again. Her voice was not loud nor soft but it was shaking. 

Glyde looked at her, waiting for what the next words she'll say. He was ready to listen.

"In my whole life, I never showed this part of me. I never even knew that it'll be this worse, since I was able to hold it back before" she started as she stood up. Glyde backed away for a bit to give her a some space.

"Glyde, I'm actually selfish" she smiled bitterly as she confesses. "I don't like to share things with others when I know that it's mine. You probably already know since you always see through me, but I'm a walking mess. I have a tons of bad attitudes which I tried so hard to bury it under the ground. Even my own family barely saw those sides of me. I rarely asked them for anything as well. I wanted their attention but I am aware that they are busy with the company and living their life. So, I didn't bother to ask them for it as I know it would be pointless. They do give me gifts which I don't really asked for, but since it's there, I welcome it with open arms." Hershey opened up to Glyde.

She breathe in and breathe out. Her voice still remained neither loud nor soft. But there was a stress on it. It was apparent that she was in distress and upset.

"Let me be clear with you." she walked closer at Glyde and pointed at his chest. "I want you to be only mine." she admitted.

Glyde was left speechless at her sudden confession. But, Hershey knew that he probably already had an idea about it.

Hershey stepped back. "I don't want to know, see, hear, or anything at all, that you show affection or attention to anyone else other than me. I want your attention to be only directed to me, Glyde. That's how selfish I am"

This was the first time she said those words to Glyde. Her actions probably already send those messages to him way before already, since with him she couldn't even hide her true self. That's how comfortable she was with him. He brings out her nicest and evilest version of hers.

When she let it all out today, that's when she also just realized her true feelings. So, that's how she really felt. She was unconsciously trying to not disclose that fact, but it seems it could not be hidden anymore.

She was just that selfish for him. No, she was that greedy for him.
