TIIIIIIIIIIME SHIP

I meant to type skip but pft I'm leaving that xD

~Three Years Later~

"Sam get your lazy ass over here and love me."

"Gabe come on, I'm doing homework."

"That's all you ever do," Gabe said. He was lying on the couch while Sam sat at a desk on the other side of the room.

Three years since Dean and Cas's wedding, three years since they graduated high school. Gabe had moved on to be an artist and Sam an art teacher. Because you know, they had a lot of art classes back in the day.

The difference between them right now was Gabe didn't go to college but Sam did. Gabe had moved with Sam, obviously, but they didn't spend as much time together as they used to.

"Gabe I have an exam coming up," Sam said. "I need to study."

"You're a genius, you'll do fine," Gabe said. Sam sighed and looked over at Gabe, who was looking at him upside down. "Come on Sammy, remember the good old days? You got too serious."

"Oh did I?" Sam asked, spinning around on the chair. "Maybe you just never grew up."

"Ouch," Gabe muttered. He sat up and walked over to Sam. "Come on Sam. One night off."

"Last time you said that," Sam said. "We ended up in the police station."

"But," Gabe said with a smirk. "It was totally worth it wasn't it?"

Sam tried to keep a straight face but couldn't stop the smile at the memories of that day. "Okay fine, you win. One night but then I'm studying again."

Gabriel brightened significantly. "Great. Hurry up and get ready." Sam smiled and stood up, leaning down quickly to kiss Gabe before walking off to change into something nicer. Gabe smiled as he watched him leave and then ran over to where his jacket was, checking to see if the thing was still there.

Considering what's been happening in all these chapters, can you guess what said thing is?

Eh I'll tell you anyway. Ring!!

Gabe smiled softly before pulling the jacket on, walking into the room where Sam was still getting changed. He was currently shirtless.

Sam looked over as Gabe walked in, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Maybe we could just stay here for the night," Gabe said, his gaze roaming Sam's body.

"Oh come on Gabe, we have to do other things with our nights you know," Sam said, winking at Gabe. Gabe chuckled and walked over to Sam, grabbing the shirt and reaching up on his toes to pull it over Sam's head for him. Sam laughed and leaned down to kiss Gabe softly.

"Never going to stop loving this height difference," Sam said, linking his hands with Gabe's.

"You better not coz I ain't getting taller," Gabe said, bumping his nose against Sam's.

(Same Gabe. Same)

"So where are we going?" Sam asked.

"Just down to the diner," Gabe said, smirking.

"I know that look, what do you have planned?"

"Nothing my dear moose, nothing at all."

"Suspicious."

"Aren't I always?"

"Yeah, and you're always up to something."

Gabe laughed and grabbed Sam's hand, pulling him out the front door of their apartment.

Let's see how everyone else is doing :P

"Dean!"

Dean laughed as Cas ran over and jumped onto him, wrapping his legs around Dean's waist and his arms around Dean's neck.

"Someone's excited," Dean said.

"You've been out for like twelve hours," Cas whined into Dean's shoulder. Dean just laughed.

"Missed you too Cas," Dean said, shutting the front door of their house behind him with his foot while wrapping his arms around Cas. He nuzzled into Cas's neck, pressing a soft kiss to the skin there.

Cas smiled and jumped down, walking through the house with Dean following. Dean put his stuff down. He owned a small business now, just a small car repair place. Cas worked with animals because you know, it's Cas.

"Wait a minute," Dean said, looking at Cas who was looking a little sheepish. "What did you do?"

"I know you said no more pets," Cas said. "But she was all alone in a box on the side of the street."

Dean sighed. "What is she?"

Cas smiled and walked over to the couch, picking something small and black up. He walked over to Dean with it and held it up.

It was a tiny kitten, black fur and blue eyes.

"She looks like you," Dean said, smiling softly.

"You smiled, we're keeping her," Cas said, hugging the kitten to his chest. "Her name is Shado."

Dean chuckled. "Do I have any say in the matter?"

"Nope," Cas said with a wide smile. He looked down at Shado with the cutest loving smile. Dean smiled and pulled Cas and the kitten into a hug.

"I love you Cas," Dean said.

"I love you too Dean," Cas said, turning his head to press a kiss to Dean's cheek. Dean turned his head to connect their lips, deepening the kiss. He bit down on Cas's lip, getting a moan from Cas.

"Wouldn't want to mentally scar this poor kitten now would we?" Dean said as he pulled away smirking. Cas pouted before putting Shado down on the couch and roughly shoving Dean towards the bedroom, shutting the door behind them. Dean's laugh was cut off as Cas pushed him down onto the bed, connecting their lips.

~~(Not in a smutty mood, and there's Sabriel to be written :P )~~

"Oh my god Gabe what are you..."

Sam couldn't help laughing as Gabe did another adorable Gabe thing. Right now, innocently running around like a child.

Gabe smiled and walked back over to Sam, linking their hands. "See, we should get out more."

"I know," Sam said. "But final year at college and all..."

"I know Samsquatch, I know," Gabe said with a smile, leaning against Sam as they walked.

They reached the diner, which Jo now worked at with Ellen, the Roadhouse. Jo looked up as the two of them walked in and smiled brightly at them, sharing a knowing look with Gabe.

"Sam, haven't seen you in a while," Jo said, walking over to them. "You really should come by more."

"Ask Gabe for that, he's the one who always drags me away from studying."

"I'd drag you away more if I didn't know you cared so much about school," Gabe said as they sat down at a booth.

"Usual?" Jo asked them and they both nodded. Jo smiled and walked off, glancing at Gabe. Gabe gave her a minuscule nod before turning back to Sam.

"When was the last time you talked to Deano?" Gabe asked.

"Couple of weeks ago," Sam said. "He's busy all the time with his job, Cas is usually the one who calls."

"We should go visit them sometime," Gabe said, kicking Sam's feet under the table. Sam smiled and they started a foot war.

"You two are such children," Jo said, walking back with their food. Healthy stuff for Sam and sugary foods for Gabe.

"I'll always be a child," Gabe said. Sam just laughed.

"And I'll always love you for that," Sam said.

"And I'll always love you for being a moose," Gabe replied with a grin. Sam just kicked him gently under the table. Jo smiled at them before walking off.

So they ate their food, Sam suspecting nothing than just another night out. Gabe got more nervous as minutes went by, until they finished their food.

"You guys want anything else?" Ellen asked, walking over to them. Sam looked at Gabe expectantly, waiting for the ridiculous desert Gabe always had.

"I'll be back in a minute," Gabe said, standing and walking to the bathroom. Sam passed it off as nothing.

When Gabe got in there, he just walked out the back exit to where Jo was waiting.

"Is everything all set up?" he asked. Jo nodded.

"You look nervous," she said, looking at the hands he was rubbing together.

"I'm about to propose, of course I am," Gabe replied. "Okay. Good. I'll be waiting then. Maybe I'll call Cas." Jo nodded, and Gabe passed her a note to give to Sam.

"You'll be fine," Jo said with a smile before walking back inside. Gabe just nodded before walking off to where Sam would eventually end up.

When he got there, he saw that everything was in fact set up, and he smiled softly. He pulled his phone out, calling Cas.

"Hello?" Cas's deep voice came through the speaker.

"Hey Cassie," Gabe said.

"Hello Gabriel," Cas said and Gabe could hear him moving around and the muttering of a tired sounding Dean in the background. "What's up?"

"So I haven't mentioned this to anyone but I'm about to propose to Sam in roughly half an hour or so."

"WHAT?! —Dude give me the phone—Dean no st—Hey Gabe what's with Cas's reaction?"

"I'm about to propose."

"About time. You gonna prank him or something? —Dean how are you not shocked at this?—Dude they're soulmates, what did you expect?"

"I'm using notes," Gabe said with a small smile.

"Well good luck dude," Dean said. "We'll leave you to the nervous thoughts leading up to it—Dean come on—see ya Gabe—ugh fine, bye Gabriel, good luck." Gabe smiled as the phone hung up and sat down, waiting for Sam to show up.

~~

Sam waited for Gabe to come back from the bathroom, but he never did. He looked up as Jo walked over.

"Did Gabe leave?" he asked, a hint of sadness in his voice. Jo looked at him, surprised.

"You think he would just leave?" she asked. "Not go off and prank someone?"

"It's not like I've been that close to him lately, I wouldn't be surprised..."

"That kid loves you more than anything else in the world, he wouldn't just leave," Jo said. "Speaking of, he left."

"What?"

"With a reason. You'll know. This is from him." Jo gave him the note from Gabe and Sam froze as he recognized it.

It was the first note passed between them. It had both the first message, the message from reenactment, and something new written on it. Jo smiled as she saw the note.

"Have fun," she said, walking off. Sam looked back to the note.

'Well Sammy, here we go again. Have fun on this trip down memory lane. First off, go back to our apartment.'

Sam smiled widely as he read the note, jumping up and walking back to their apartment.

When he walked in, he fount a note on the table that Gabe must've put there before they left. He picked it up, reading the message. First it had the equation for the science experiment that blew up in Gabe's face.

'I'm a genius for figuring that out. Kidding, it was Cas. I don't science. Now, I believe there's something else hiding in this home of ours.'

Sam looked around, walking through the rooms until he found another note on their bed.

'But I've already reenacted all this, so how about something else? Remember the first time you were just so happy that you were my soulmate?'

Sam paused on this one. No clue to where the next note was. But the first time he'd really been happy that it was Gabe...was on the ferris wheel.

Sam walked out of the apartment, and down to the fair that was currently in town. There was a ferris wheel there, and he walked over to it, looking around for another note.

"Sam Winchester?" the guy operating the ferris wheel asked. Sam nodded, and the guy gave him a ping pong ball.

Sam smiled down at the ping pong ball for a second. He didn't break it though, because written on the ping pong was an address.

Sam walked back into the town, looking for the street written on there. As he walked into the street, he saw a painting on one of the brick walls. It was just of two colour splats, gold and greenish hazel, but words were written under it.

'Surely you remember this?' Sam smiled and shook his head incredulously. Gabe had gone to a lot of effort...for something... 'Two blocks away Sammy.'

Sam almost ran down the blocks, the smile not dropping from his face. What he came across was another painting on brick walls, this time an identical copy of the painting Sam had given to Gabe all those years ago, golden wings.

The words 'next street over' were written under the picture, and Sam walked over to that street, finding a note attached to a wall this time.

Sam pulled the note off and noticed that it was the note used the last time they passed a message between each other. 'Okay, there we go. I did a thing. Now, come meet me at that park you love so much.' Sam smiled at the note, walking off towards the park.

When he reached the park, he noticed there was a trail of little fairy lights leading further into the park.

"No way," Sam said, almost laughing out loud. They were the same lights he had used when he got his memories back.

He followed the lights until he came to an area where the fairy lights filled the trees, and Gabe was standing there, leaning against a tree.

"Gabe," Sam said, running over to him. Gabe looked up and smiled brightly.

"I see my leading skills worked then," Gabe said. "I was thinking you might get lost."

"Considering it's you, I probably would've," Sam said. "So what's with the memory trip?"

Gabe smiled softly. "Well, it's kinda our thing isn't it? So I figured it seemed fitting..."

"Fitting for what?" Sam asked.

"Well," Gabe said, turning to face Sam. "We're soulmates, that's a thing. So obviously, at some point in life, we're probably going to get married..."

Sam fell silent, looking at Gabe with wide eyes.

"And well," Gabe said, looking up at Sam almost shyly. "I uh...well Sammy I think you know what I'm trying to say..." He got down on one knee, and pulled the ring out of his pocket. "My dearest Sammy, my other half and partner in crime, Sam Winchester, will you marry me?"

"Yes," Sam said, before chuckling. "And you're the child in this relationship." Gabe laughed, standing up and putting the ring on Sam's finger.

"Sam, I love you," Gabe said, one of the few moments when he was being completely serious.  "You are seriously the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"I love you too Gabe," Sam said, linking their hands together. "And if I have you, then there's nothing more I would ask for."

"We are such saps," Gabe said, chuckling.

"We totally are," Sam said, before leaning down to kiss Gabe softly under the glow of the fairy lights.
