35 - Goodbye My Innocence

"A ring?" Sam asked. "As in, a proposal ring?"

Gabe nodded frantically. "He's going to propose to Cassie."

"When?" Sam asked, sitting up.

"Dude I only found the ring, it's not like he had a note saying exactly when and where he planned to do it."

Sam laughed. "True. I'll ask Dean if he ever comes home."

"Well he's gotta come around sometime, it's not like they can do anything at my house with our siblings running around."

"I think I'd prefer him staying there if you're suggesting what I think you are."

"Oh you know me too well," Gabe said, smiling. He lied back down against Sam's side and they fell into silence again, eventually falling asleep too.

~~

"Dean," Sam said, walking into the kitchen. Dean had just come home from the Novak's. Because Chuck and Becky were trying to sort out their family, Cas had gotten a part time job until he went off to college, so he wasn't with Cas right now.

"Hey Sammy," Dean said, making cereal. In the afternoon. Sam didn't question it.

"Gabriel found something in your room," Sam started. Gabriel was still asleep upstairs.

"Why the hell was he in my room?" Dean said.

"He stole your sheets. We made a blanket fort."

"Dude I'm not even going to comment."

"But anyway. He found the ring."

Dean froze, his eyes going wide. "Okay I was going to tell you guys, I just—"

"Woah don't freak out or anything," Sam said. "It's not like we're surprised. We're just curious about when."

Dean sighed. "I don't know. I hadn't actually planned on doing it quite just yet, but I was out and I saw the ring and I just..."

Sam smiled. "Just felt like it was right?"

Dean nodded. "Yeah. I mean, he's my angel, it's angel wings..."

"Oh cool, I didn't actually see it but that's great."

Dean smiled nervously. "I don't know when I should do this, I don't know how I should do this, dammit Sammy I'm nervous."

"Don't worry Dean, Cas will think it's perfect no matter what you do."

Dean smiled thankfully at him. "I think I might do it next year, it has only been a few months."

"Well you are soulmates," Sam said. "Some people have married sooner."

"True," Dean said. "Maybe I'll..." He trailed off, deep in thought. Sam smiled at him before walking back through the house and to his room where Gabriel was just waking up.

"Morning," Gabe said sleepily.

"It's the afternoon," Sam said, smiling softly and sitting next to the sleepy Gabe.

"Where were you?"

"Asking Dean about the ring," Sam said.

"Oh my Chuck what did he say, when's the wedding, can we plan it, can everything be rainbow coloured?"

"I think they want to plan their own wedding," Sam said, laughing. "But Dean said he wouldn't be doing it soon."

"Awww," Gabe said. "Why?"

"It's literally only been a few months Gabe."

"And? I'd marry you if we were legal."

Sam smiled softly at Gabe. "Really?"

"Of course Samantha," Gabe said, smiling. "You're my soulmate. Literally. Why wouldn't I marry you?"

"We're fifteen," Sam pointed out. "I don't know, I figured you might think it's too early to make a commitment like that."

"Seriously? Soulmate Sammy."

"I don't mean you wouldn't want to get married, I just feel like if we did then we'd end up settling down and living a boring life."

"We don't have to settle down immediately," Gabe said. "I'd happily travel the world with you. And by the way, I'm sixteen, remember that?"

Sam laughed. "You don't act it."

"Oh shut up," Gabe said, shoving Sam. Sam fell to the floor, laughing, and Gabe moved over to straddle him. Sam shut up immediately and Gabe smirked at him. "I wonder who tops in this relationship..."

Sam went red, and Gabe moved his hands to Sam's wrists, holding them down against the ground.

"I think the answer seems a bit obvious right now," Sam said, his voice going a bit lower than usual. Gabe smirked.

"I'm so using that against you one day," Gabe said, leaning down to kiss Sam gently.

"I don't think that counts as against me if I openly agree to it," Sam said when Gabe broke away. Gabe smirked and leaned down to kiss Sam again. He moved his hands from Sam's wrists to Sam could move his arms around Gabe's neck, his hands threading through Gabe's hair.

And Dean chose that moment to walk past.

"Dammit you guys! You're making out in a blanket fort, stop ruining blanket forts for me!"

Gabe pulled away laughing, and rolled off of Sam. Dean just glared at them from the door.

"Cock block," Sam muttered.

"Oh my god Sam where has your innocence gone?" Dean asked. "You were innocent. You were so innocent."

"I met Gabriel," Sam replied.

"Gabriel return Sam's innocence at once," Dean said.

"Nah," Gabe said, smirking. "There are some pretty non innocent things I wouldn't mind him doing."

"Nope I'm leaving," Dean said, walking away. "Those are mental images I do not need."

Sabriel laughed as he left...then returned to what they were doing.

But you know, the author wants to keep her innocence a little longer soo let's skip over this.

~~

(My ideas are non existent)

Cas walked out from his work that the author can't be bothered thinking of, to where Dean was waiting with the car.

"Hello Dean," Cas said, getting into the passenger seat of the Impala. Dean smiled brightly at him, leaning over to kiss him softly.

"Heya Cas," he replied. Cas smiled. Dean started the Impala and started driving them home, whichever of the two homes they had he felt like.

"You know," Cas said. "We really should start working out plans for college."

"Yeah I know," Dean said. "Actually...I found one near yours, it has the course in business management I wanted to do..."

"Did you apply there?" Cas asked.

"Yep. And I got a reply today."

"And?"

Dean smiled. "I got in."

Cas sighed in relief. "Thank Chuck, we don't have to separate."

"Even if I didn't get in I'd still go with you to whatever state that is."

Cas smiled over at Dean. "I know you would. It's for reasons like that that I love you."

Dean smiled brightly. "I love you too angel."

"We're never going to get tired of saying that are we?"

"Never."

They arrived at the Novak house.

"Really?" Cas asked. "I thought you like avoiding my siblings."

"Yeah," Dean said. "But I was getting some bad mental images from Sam and Gabriel."

"Don't tell me, I don't want to know," Cas said. They walked into the house, past Raphael's empty room, Michael and Luci's empty rooms...Balthazar's filled with boxes for college...

"Your house feels empty," Dean said.

"I know," Cas said sadly. "They've always been here to annoy me, and without them sure it's not annoying but I really miss them."

"No matter what siblings do, you always love them," Dean said. "So it's natural to miss them."

Cas sighed. "But hey, I've got you here."

"And you always will," Dean said, smiling.

They walked the rest of the way to Cas's room, past Samandriel's room where Adam was hanging out with Samandriel...

"Oh my god why?!" Dean yelled as they glanced in the room. "Can't I get through a day without seeing any of my brothers making out with someone?!"

"Dean," Cas said. "Neither of them are your brother."

"Your family is my family Cas, so technically Samandriel is."

"Oh cool," Samandriel said. "Dean, you're my new favourite brother."

"But Alfie," Cas said, betrayed, giving Samandriel the puppy dog eyes.

"Hah," Dean said triumphantly. "I'm the favourite brother." Cas turned and stared at him. "Well Cas, not for nothing, but the last person who looked at me like that...I got laid."

Cas was silent and Dean just winked at him.

Samandriel just shut his bedroom door, not wanting to see whatever happened next.

"Well then," Cas said. "Wouldn't want to change that now would we?"

"Wait Cas yo—"

Cas moved forward quickly, pressing Dean against the wall and kissing him hard, a hand on either side of his head. Dean's hands moved up to wind into Cas's hair, pulling on it when Cas bit his lip.

"We should," Dean said breathlessly. "Take this...to your room." Cas just nodded and pulled Dean over to his room, slamming the door shut behind him by kicking it with his foot.

(Okay so this is a smut warning...I have no idea how far I can go with this until I literally can't write more...goodbye innocence...)

****UPDATE OF 2020**** OKAY LOOK I'VE DELETED THE SMUT - honestly it was cringey anyway... Main reason, I was uncomfortable with having written it and leaving it on the internet, I'M SORRY to anyone who did really want to read it - the story does function without it, again, I'm sorry

"Cas," Dean said softly, rolling onto his side to face Cas. "I love you."

"I love you too Dean," Cas said, leaning up to kiss Dean softly. "We should probably get cleaned up." Dean nodded in agreement, but didn't move.

"We could just stay here for a bit," Dean said, his eyes drooping. Cas smiled softly and went to get a towel. He cleaned them up and then laid down on the bed beside Dean, who wrapped his arms around Cas's waist, Cas's back against Dean's chest.

"You're a hugger," Cas said, smiling.

"Shuddup," Dean said sleepily, nuzzling into Cas's neck.

They fell asleep like that, while the author was feeling awkward as hell and lost without her innocence.

Oh and everyone else had left the Novak house when they all heard the door slam. Everyone there kept their innocence. Lucky idiots.

~~

My innocence. It's gone. Forever. I can never get it back. If you can't tell, that was the first time I've ever written smut. Hell do I feel awkward.

I may be ending this story soon...soon means like five chapters away or something, that's still a while. But nope sorry my mind is still processing the fact that I wrote smut.

Not the first thing I've gotten myself into this week...I somehow got myself into auditioning for the schools production...I'm one of those people who's not good at drama, what was I thinking?

And both of these things, are Michaela's fault. MICHAELA IF YOU'RE READING THIS, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. YOU DESTROYED MY INNOCENCE.

*Gives you all innocent little lollipops that I can't have since I'm not innocent anymore*
