Ivanna's petite feet padded softly against the marble floor of the Asgardian castle, steps slow and cautious as if she was scared to wake everybody up. The demigoddess had woken up from her slept due to a bad dream unfortunately. She was the only one wondering around this gigantic place and she was kinda scared that somebody would pop up out of no where--which would scare the hell out of her by the way. But yes, it was super early and she really didn't know where she was going, but she just needed some fresh air.

The city of Asgard was quiet as she crept through silently. Cool breezes ran into her face, soon enough cooling her whole body down. Ivanna admired the city, the homes, and the buildings. Yes, it was much different than Earth but Asgard was unique. The history, the stories, the people, and the wonders of this place made it so fascinating. Ivanna always wanted to come here as a little girl and she still couldn't believe that she was actually in Asgard. She would have never thought that this would happen; but it wouldn't happen without Loki bringing her.

Ivanna finally reached the rainbow bridge that connected Asgard and the Bifrost. She took a seat, allowing her legs to dangle freely. The dark blue ocean was calm at this time of morning. She could feel the breeze that it provided and it made her toes tingle from it. And what else started tingling was her senses--somebody was close by.

"I think you should back away from the ledge. You could fall," Loki says walking towards her with his hands in his front pockets; dressed in all black as his hair flowed effortlessly with every step he took.

"I'm fine," she tells him with a little chuckle.

"My father used to tell Thor and I not to play on the bridge," Loki tells her briefly as he sat next to her. "We never listened of course. But that was until we were playing and Thor got pushed off the ledge on accident."

"On my God," Ivanna shook her head.

"Don't worry, he didn't drown--sadly," Loki added in with a sigh of disappointment.

"Oh c'mon, don't be cruel," Ivanna says nudging him knowingly. Yes, she knew that he was playing around but death wasn't something to fool around with.

"It's called dark humor love," Loki chuckles as he looked at the sun starting to rise in the distance.

"I know you love your brother Loki. Don't act like you don't," Ivanna replies. "You two should be close and protect each other no matter what."

"Well I have to love him, because he's the only person who has ever loved me back," Loki says as he pushes out a laugh to go with it, but Ivanna did not laugh nor make a funny remark afterwards. She just looked at him with..sadness and wondered how this man is who he is. And as her glance started to make him feel uncomfortable he sighed deeply. "Um..I'm sorry for--,"

"Don't be," she interrupted him looking away from him.

"I didn't mean to make it awkward," Loki apologizes, and then frowned at what he just said. Did I just really say sorry for what I said? He thought in disbelief.

"It's fine," Ivanna stood up to her feet and straightened her dress out. "Let's head back to the castle, yeah?"

"Y-Yeah sure," Loki stammered standing up to his feet quickly.

The walk back towards the castle was silent due to the tension that was in the air. It wasn't like Loki wanted sympathy--well because he never got any--from the joke he made. He didn't intend for Ivanna to..to well..feel for him. And it was weird because there was ice that needed to be broken.

"Are you not gonna say anything?" Loki blurted the question out without much thinking. He just needed her to say something, anything really.

She stopped walking and looked at him seriously, "For the first time in my life I don't know what to say Loki," she shrugs in disappointment.

"You're not actually feeling sorry for me, right?" Loki didn't want this, nor did he like this whatsoever. Nobody gave a single fuck about him and he couldn't believe that Ivanna really felt some type of way towards him. He didn't know if it made him uncomfortable that she cared or if it was the fact that he didn't want pity.

"And if I was then what will be the problem with it?" Ivanna questioned with the cross of her arms.

Loki huffed, "I--,"

"No talking back," Ivanna cut him off with the snap of her fingers. "It's not a bad thing to have emotions Loki. It's not bad to feel something for someone. It's not a bad thing to want affection. It's definitely not a bad thing to keep it real and say what you're feeling. And you know that you meant what you said back there."

"I don't know where this is coming from," Loki scoffs with the roll of his eyes.

"Yes you do, but you're just scared to realize it," she replied back quickly and confidently.

Loki's eyebrows pinched together as he pointed at her with a warning look in his eyes, "Do not speak to me in that manner."

"And stop telling me what to do," Ivanna demanded, voice becoming louder.

"Well if you don't want me to tell you what to do then why did you come to Asgard with me?" Loki asked her with a bitter chuckle, but he sounded stupid for asking that.

"Are you serious right now?" Ivanna deadpanned.

"Yes, answer the question," Loki pressed on.

Ivanna stood her ground, "I don't have to answer anything."

"Fine," Loki huffed, feeling irritated.

"Fine," Ivanna huffed back.

"Fine then!" Loki added on.

"Double fine then!" Ivanna threw her hands in the air, deciding to walk away and leave the situation alone because she doesn't know what she would do if she stayed a second longer.
