"It is a nice sunny day outside. Two girls are seated in a school bus ready to head for their next adventure at a new high school called Universe High. Wearing their school uniforms, which was a white school shirt with a boring grey skirt while wearing white school socks, black polished school shoes and of course the grey raincoat like school jacket with a white vertical stripe on the side of the arms and the school logo. With bulging backpacks on their backs and suitcases as well, the girls are ready for their first day at-"

"Leo, what are you doing?" Gemini suddenly asked, raising an eyebrow at her best friend Leo who was seated next to her. They were, like Leo had mentioned before, in the school bus in the school's uniform. Leo glared at Gemini and narrowed her own eyes.

"SHHHH GEMINI!" Leo hissed, "I am narrating."

"N-Narrating?" Gemini spluttered. "Leo, we are in a school bus. Students are staring at us."

Indeed they were. Most students were staring at the two girls, weirded out by the narration. Some students were giggling and whispering to their friends, others just bit their lips and looked uncomfortable. At this moment Gemini wanted to disappear by magic, but she knew that would never happen.

Besides it's not like she would gain magical powers, right?

Gemini sighed got out her phone as well as a pair of earphones. She plugged the earphones into the phone and then put them on, blocking the sound of the narration.

Sure she loves Leo and all, the two have been best friends since they were in kindergarten together, but when Leo is in narration mode Gemini wanted to disappear and reappear when people aren't staring.

Gemini laid back her head and closed her eyes. She was in a mixture of emotions: nervousness and even confusion. It was obvious why she would be nervous: she would be going to a brand new high school with new people and teachers to meet.

Also the school also comes with their own track course, horse stables as well as a freaking swimming pool room! The school also has dorm rooms, where students who live far away from the school have to stay in. Since Gemini and Leo had to take a train and then a bus to get to the school, they have to stay in the dorms.
It was, as Gemini guessed, Leo's dream come true. She assumed Leo would be perfect for the school.

But Gemini? She was still confused with it. She and Leo were both admitted to the school through a letter- despite attending another school when she got the letter.

She remembered how confused she was when she read through the letter- stating that she is selected to go to 'Universe High' instead of her normal school. She was also told to bring her belongings with her since the school allows students a place to stay at.

She remembered showing the letter to her parents and them getting really excited about it. Of course, it made her puzzled.

"I don't understand. Why are you excited? What is this school exactly."

"Oh Gemini," her mother smiled, "You haven't heard of Universe High. The school most people wanted to attend because of Universe."

Gemini clicked her fingers as she had remembered something. She then pressed her lips together. "But I am selected to go. I don't understand."

"You know, being selected in Universe High is a special thing. You should be proud." her father pointed out, giving his daughter a hug.

Gemini remembered hugging back her father. But she was confused. She is still confused now of course. She still is, mainly cause she felt strange with the entire 'going to a new school' thing. She sighed and began to think about the possibilties at this new school.

Her thoughts were interrupted by someone shaking her side and side. Gemini opened her eyes and turned to Leo who just shook her. She noticed the bus had stopped and students are hopping off.

"We're here." Leo whispered.

"I can tell."

The moment the two girls made their way out of the bus with their bags and stood at the entrance of the school... and it was unbelievable (unbelievebubble).

The school was castle-like and it was in a pretty white colour, with golden spires at the top glistening under the radiant sun. On top of those spires were white flags with the school's logo on it flapping slowly from side to side.

Meanwhile down below, there is a large staircase leading up to the two sets of double doors at the front. At the front of the school there is also a golden statue of a really familiar man on a stone stand.

The girls truly couldn't believe they have to study at this place. Gemini noticed that there were many students at the front of the school doing almost similar things. The youngest students were either examining the school or staring at the school with their mouths dangling open. The oldest students were all in groups taking group selfies together as well as dancing to rap music. As for the rest, well they were catching up with their friends ready for another school day.

"And so, the fabulous Leo Lopez and her trusty sidekick Gemini Sinclair arrived at the school amazed by it's true beauty," Leo narrated in a posh voice while placing her hands on her hips, "The school was everything Leo could of wished for with luxury, education and of course hot looking gu-"

"Leo-" Gemini muttered in a monotone voice.

"Yes Gemini, my dear trusty sidekick?"

"Trusty sidekick?!"

"Yes, I am narrating the story from my side of view while you are the trusty sidekick."

"Oh, well cut you please cut it down with the narration. People are staring at us."

"They stare, who cares?" Leo giggled. She then clapsed her hands together and looked dreamily at the school, "This feels like heaven. I can't wait to begin studying in here! It would be a dream to study here."

"I wouldn't say that if I were you," a male's voice next to Leo pointed out. Both girls turned to find a boy with blue hair and reddish-brown eyes, staring at the school. He was wearing the male version of the school uniform with a white shirt, grey tie, black pants with a grey belt, white socks and black polished shoes. As as expected, he wore the school raincoat like jacket with a white stripe on the side. He was also holding onto a suitcase as well as wearing a bag on his back.

The boy took a deep breath, "No matter how good looking or academic the place is, school will always be the worst."

"How would you know that?" Gemini asked, crossing her arms, "Are you an older student here?"

The boy shook his head then turned to the girls, "No. I am selected to cone here. It's my first day here and I had to travel a long way to get here. One of my online friends studies here and he told me it was like like another school" He chuckled and then smiled at the girls, "Aquarius Cooper by the way and I'm on the lookout for anything bizzare."

Leo hid her laughter. Gemini however smiled at the male, "Gemini Sinclair. Also selected to come here. This here is my best friend Leo Lopez, also selected."

"GEMINIIIIIII." Leo complained, "IT'S LE FABULOUS LEO LOPEZ."

Gemini mentally facepalmed, "FINE! 'Le Fabulous Leo Lopez' who is also selected to be here."

Aquarius just nodded back, "I see. Well nice meet you Gemini and you as well Leo. Glad to see to meet others who are selected here as well. I just need to find my best friends Aries and Cancer."

"Aries and Cancer?" Gemini asked.

"They went to the same school as me before. But Cancer is older than me by a year."

"Really?" Leo asked.

"Yeah. But we're all studying the same year. Year 10."

"Oh we're that as well," Leo smiled.

Really? That's nice. I should find Aries and Cancer. Let me just say, Aries really loves my greeting hugs."

"Greeting.... hugs?" Leo and Gemini asked.

"Yep! I give out greeting hugs, especially to Aries." Aquarius bragged.

He spotted a male with blonde hair walking towards the school building. He also came with a male with brown hair. Both of the males were wearing similar uniforms as Aquarius and they were holding onto their suitcases.

"Speaking of Aries, there he is. Along with Cancer." Aquarius smiled. He turned to the blonde haired male in the distance, "ARIESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?"

"Oh s***." was the blonde haired male's response. He then started running away when Aquarius started to chase him, "AQUARIUS. I DON'T WANT YOUR GREETING HUGS!!!!"

"COME ON ARIES. MY HUGS ARE THE BEST!" Aquarius cried when he chased after Aries.

"HEY, AQUARIUS, ARIES. I WANT A HUG!" the brown haired male, which the girls assumed is Cancer, cried out as he chased Aquarius chasing Aries.

Gemini and Leo blinked and then they exchanged glances. Gemini clicked her tongue, "That was...weird."

"I'd say."

"Mhm." Gemini replied, "I'm gonna find the drinking fountain. I'll be right back."

"Ok, for the meantime I'll stay here... and narrate some mo-"

"Leo. NO."

"Fine-" Leo huffed, crossing her arms, "I won't."

Gemini smiled and checked her phone. 8:10am it read. She then hugged her best friend. She then walked off to search for the nearest drinking fountain. Leo however sat down on a nearby bench.

"And so the kind and sweet sidekick Gemini left Leo to sit by herself..." Leo mumbled, "At this point the princess Leo wished a handsome prince would come rushing over to save her..."

Gemini sighed as she finished getting a drink from the drinking fountain. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and stood up straight.

She felt more relaxed, relieved even since she was alrweady stressed out from looking around the area for the drinking fountains. She wondered what Leo is doing at the moment. Probably narrating stories again.

Wait.... how long was Gemini to take a drink?

She looked at her phone and to her surprise it said '8:22am'

'Shoot. Gone for 12 minutes.' Gemini thought. She began to wonder what Leo might of thought while Gemini was away. She may of felt that Gemini had ran away from the school leaving her best friend to be alone, and that wasn't what Gemini wanted at all.

The female looked around to find the area leading to where Leo is. She eventually found the way and ran towards it, not looking where she was going.

She didn't notice a dark brown haired male walking towards the fountain. He was checking his phone on one hand and dragging a wheeled suitcase with the other.

Well guess what Gemini did? Yep. She bumped straight into the male and later fell backwards.

"Huh?" Gemini asked. She looked up at the male, "HEY YOU SHOULD WATCH YOU WERE GO-"

She stopped when she noticed the male looking down at her. Now noticing in full detail Gemini noticed the male had brown eyes, had an earring at the right ear, and he looked...cute to be honest. She expected the male to smile and offer a hand to help her up.

He didn't. Instead he crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, "Hm?"

"Oh.. I'm so sorry." Gemini mumbled, standing up. She brushed off the dust on her uniform and smiled at the male, "I'm sorry I bumped into you. I wasn't looking where I was going."

"Sure you're sorry." the male grunted, "You probably bumped into me on purpose."

This was a response Gemini wasn't even expecting. She placed her hands on her hips, "Well.. I don't know what is up with your attitude, but I clearly wasn't doing that."

"Sure you weren't. Sure you weren't." the male muttered rolling his eyes. He then brushed past the girl, muttering under his breath.

Gemini looked back at the male, raising an eyebrow at his unusual behaviour, "I'm Gemini by the way. What's your name?"

The boy stopped in his track, "Scorpio. Also freshman." Then he walked off again.

"Scorpio...." Gemini mumbled under her breath, "Huh. Nice name, familiar but nice."

After processing that moment, Gemini had ran towards the entrance to find Leo. She ended up finding her best friend talk to three people: two girls and one male. One of the girls had long straight dirty blonde hair that faded to purple at the tips, as for the other girl she had chest length straight black hair and monolid dark grey eyes. As for the male he had medium brown skin, dark brown eyes and curly black hair.

Leo noticed Gemini and placed her hands on his hips, "There you are! You were gone for fifteen mins!"

"Fifteen?" Gemini asked. Then she remembered that 'conversation' with Scorpio, "Oh. I'm sorry Leo."

"It's fine." Leo smiled, "Guess what? I made three new friends. The girl with the dirty blonde hair is Libra, the girl with the black hair is Pisces while the male is Virgo."

"Hey!" Leo's new friends smiled.

"You must be Gemini." Libra smiled, "Leo's faithful sidekick."

Gemini groaned. "I don't understand why she loves stating that, but yes... that's... me."

The other three nodded. Gemini glared at Leo, who giggled sheeplishly.

"I had to." Leo giggled, "Anyways, what took you so long?"

"Well. Here's what happened." Gemini mumbled, "One; I had a hard time finding the drinking fountain and two; I bumped into this guy named Scorpio."

"Hold on... did you say... Scorpio?" Virgo asked, his right eye twitching.

"Yes?" Gemini asked, "Is something wrong."

"What did he do to you?"

"Nothing. He just accused me for bumping into him on purpose. Which I did by ACCIDENT."

"That guy always believes everything is on purpose." Virgo muttered, rolling his eyes, "He only cares about himself."

"But he's cute." Gemini mumbled.

"Well everyone thinks Capricorn is cute as well." Virgo pointed out, pointing to a handsome male with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Now Virgo, I am sure that the 'Scorpio only cares about himself' thing isn't true. I'm sure Scorpio still cares for everyone and had no words to say for Gemini." Pisces reassured.

"Either way. I hate him. He hates me. And that's that Pisces, and you should know that." Virgo mumbled.

"Uhm...." was Gemini, Leo and Libra's response. They clearly had no idea what Virgo and Pisces were talking about.

"I'm guessing you and Scorpio are both enemies, Virgo?" Leo asked softly.

"We used to be friends, Pisces was our best friend as well. But Pisces had to move and then me and Scorpio fought. I'll never forgive him for that ."

"For what?" Libra questioned, tilting her head to the side.

Virgo just shook his head, "That doesn't matter right now. It's personal actually..."

"O....k then...." Gemini mumbled. She looked around and noticed a dark purple haired woman holding a big stack of flyers. She was trying to advertise for what looked like a 'Help this Innocent Puppy' flyer. Gemini walked towards the woman. The others noticed.

"Gemini?"

She noticed the struggle the woman was having. The woman had put down her flyers and is waving one around for advertisement. To her dismay, the students weren't listening or even noticed she was there.

Gemini frowned and walked up to the female, "Hey...uhm, do you need help with these?"

"Yes, I mean it's for the sake for the puppy." the woman smiled. She noticed Leo, Libra, Pisces and Virgo staring, "Tell your friends to join you."

Gemini was at confused. She thought she only had one friend, that is until she remembered Libra, Pisces and Virgo. With a smile, she turned to them and gestured them to come. They did eventually.

"Gemini, what's going on?" Pisces whispered.

"You see, this woman right here needs our help handing out flyers. No one is noticing it."

"No one is noticing a poor innocent puppy needs help?" Leo frowned, as she picked up a stack of flyers. Libra and Pisces did the same.

"They are all probably busy with school." Virgo pointed out, "I mean it is almost ti-"

"Please Virgo. For the sake of the innocent puppy." Gemini begged. She gave him puppy dog eyes and got on her knees.

"....Puppy dog eyes are not going to make me change my mind."

Gemini sighed and got out her phone, "Hey Siri. Play a sad violin song."

A sad violin song played on Gemini'sphone. Gemini handed the phone to Leo and then did even sadder puppy dog eyes at Virgo. This of course made the male tear up.

"Ok Ok, you win. I'll help."

Gemini got up and then hugged the male. She then gave him a stack of flyers to give out. The small group then tried to help.

But there was a problem. None of the students were interested in the flyers.

"Gosh what is with the students here?" Libra asked, "Don't they want to help an innocent puppy?"

"Clearly not." Virgo mumbled.

"Ummm, excuse me?" a soft female voice asked. The four teens turned and noticed a freshman like girl with long brown hair, light tanned skin and shining dark brown eyes. She is standing with a ginger red haired female with green eyes and freckles. Both of them look intrigued at the flyers.

"Hey there!" Leo smiled, "Want to help a puppy?"

"I just came to see what was going on..." the brown haired female mumbled. She then nudged the ginger red haired girl, "My friend Sagittarius dragged me over here."

"Taurussss, it looks so cute though!" Sagittarius pouted. She then turned to the others, "What should we do to help?"

"Well you should ask the woman with the dark purple hair she should- hey, where did she go?" Leo asked.

Indeed the woman had vanished. Leo shrugged and turned to the interested girls. Virgo noticed a slight wind and most of the flyers were flying away.

"Um guys?"

"I'm sure she would be back. She is probably busy with something." Leo laughed, "Just don't know when she would ret-"

"Hate to admit this to you, but the flyers are flying away..." Taurus mumbled, pointing to where the pile of flyers once were before. The others noticed.

"Wait- where did they go?" Gemini asked.

Sagittarius scanned the place. She eventually found the flyers flying away and pointed to them while holding onto her suitcase, "OVER THERE. Quickly, we must catch them!"

"This is dumb.." Virgo complained, "I can't believe we have to dart out of the school to a nearby park. I can't believe we have to chase these flyers."

He, Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Pisces are all currently at some kind of park, looking aroud for flyers while holding onto suitcases. So far they already got a stack, but they are looking for more just in case.

"You know what I can't believe?" Libra asked, "I can't believe most students in this school don't care about an innocent little puppy."

"I can't believe we are at the park." Sagittarius added.

"I can't believe that too."

"I can't believe we found majority of the flyers. And I think it is all of them." Pisces pointed out.

Gemini noticed seven flyers flying over the bushes and weaving in  and out of a set of trees, "Not all of them. Seven of the flyers are there."

The others noticed the flyers and followed after them, eventually it led them toa nice clearing. The seven noticed the seven flyers on the floor.

"Found them." Virgo sighed happily, "Let's just pick them up and g-"

He was interupted by the sound of bushes rustling. They all turned to the bush and noticed a flying out....followed by a familiar male with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Virgo scowled.

"Oh it's you again-" Virgo grumbled, "Mr Scarlet."

"You too, Mr Leafhead." Scorpio mumbled, grabbing his flyer.

"'Leafhead'?" Sagittarius giggled. Leo and Libra joined in with the giggles as well.

"IT'S PRONOUNCED 'LEF-HEED'."

There was another rustle from the bushes and another flyer flew out with a blonde haired and blue eyed boy following after it. Gemini and Leo noticed it was Capricorn, the one Virgo mentioned earlier.

Capricorn grabbed his and smiled to himself. He noticed the others staring, "Oh.... g'day."

"G'day?" Taurus asked the male.

"Yes G'da-"

He was interupted by another rustle from the bushes. Two flyers flew out followed by Aries and Cancer running after them. They eventually caught the flyers.

"GOT IT!" Cancer cheered, smiling widely, "This one is a hard one to catch."

"Poor Aquarius, he still didn't catch his." Aries snickered. He then smiled,"At least I get to miss out another greeting hug."

"DID SOMEONE SAY GREETING HUUUUUG?" a familiar blue haired male asked,as  he oppoed out of nowhere. He was holding onto a flyer, just like the others. The male ended up giving Aries a hug.

"Ack- not again..." Aries pouted.

"I still find it a coincidence that we all ended up here to catch a flyer." Taurus mumbled, "It's like it is planned."

"And so... our heroes have gotten themselves even more confused. What will they do now? What does this actually mean?" Leop narrated.

"Find out next on-" Sagittarius began but her mouth was covered up by Taurus' hand.

"Well we got the flyers. Let's just head back to school and forget all this happened." Virgo suggested.

"Or not." Leo mumbled, noticing something odd with the flyers.

She noticed the flyers have faded away together, leaving the zodiacs with nothing to hold. The only things they have were their bags and their...you guessed it, suitcases. Virgo sighed in frustration, so did Capricorn.

"Seriously what is going on?" Capricorn asked, "It's like our minds are playing tricks with us."

There was another rustle in the bush. Everyone immediately turned to find the dark purple haired woman emerge. The woman smiled to herself, "Great you're all here!"

"What?" the twelve teens asked.

"What do you mean 'we're all here'?" Capricorn asked. He then growled, "Did you plan all this."

"Haha..... maybe?" the woman smiled, "Anyways the principal would like a word  with all of you. It's important."

The twelve teens exchanged glances and then at the woman, "How important?"

"Very." was the woman's response, "Follow me. I'll lead you back to the school so you can meet him."

And that's chapter 1 completed. And it is more than 3500 words, I must say.

Also you may notice Gemini and Leo got a lot to say in this chapter. Welll I planned to make sure every character has a spotlight in the story, just to make things fair.
