{open chat : Soojin and Jun-Oh}

Soojin: Hey, I know you were persistent on not coming to the dunking booth, but you should totally watch me dunk Chanyeol lmao.

Jun-Oh: Okay, Jinnie. I'll be there in a second.

Soojin put away her phone and look up at Chanyeol who was sitting in the dunking tank. He gave her a thumbs up to let her know he was ready for her to start. Soojin took one of the balls and tried throwing it at the target, but missed.

"Come on," Chanyeol laughed. "You have to throw harder than that!"

Soojin chuckled, getting ready for another one. "Shut up! I suck at aiming!"

Jun-Oh approached the booth with Kris next to her, drinking a slushie. "You've been here for a while," Jun-Oh told Soojin with a small smile. "Have you been trying to dunk him all this time? Or were you a bit distracted?"

"It's really fun," Soojin commented, tossing one of the balls in the air and catching it. "Hey, Kris, how about you try? Dunk a friend, for old-times-sake." Soojin pushed the ball in his direction.

Kris narrowed his eyes are her. "What—"

When extending the ball to Kris, Soojin knocked into his slushie. The icy red drink spilled all over his white shirt. Jun-Oh stepped back and covered her mouth with her hand in surprise.

"I'm so sorry," Soojin apologized, even though it was on purpose. "It was a complete accident."

"Dammit—" Kris dropped his cup and looked at the mess on his clothes.

"You should probably go get cleaned up."

"I can go with you," Chanyeol offered, getting out of the dunking tank. "Kyungsoo, you stay here and watch the booth."

"I'm here too," Chen added in a small voice.

   "Chanyeol—" Kyungsoo started to say.

"I need to make it up for him," Soojin added. "I'll be right back

   "Soojin—"

Chanyeol gave Kris a big pat on the back. "Let's go, buddy."

"I'll get the napkins," Soojin added as she followed Chanyeol pushing Kris away.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?" Kris spat.

Soojin plucked a few napkins from the hotdog stand Xiumin was working at. Xiumin looked up at the three and gave them a friendly smile.

"Hey, Chanyeol." Xiumin greeted while waving excitedly. "How are you?"

"Not now, Xiumin, we're on a mission," Chanyeol told the excited boy as he continued to direct Kris as far away from Jun-Oh as he could.

Soojin shoved the napkins in Kris's direction. "Here, take these."

Kris ripped the napkins from her grasp and began rubbing the red liquid splashed on his shirt as he abruptly stopped walking. "Do you two just go around ruining everyone's day?"

"No," Chanyeol said defensively, stepping up to Kris. "But we do run around and keep people from making the same douche decisions they did in the past."

Soojin tugged on Chanyeol's sleeve while looking at Jun-Oh and Kyungsoo. "Look!"

Chanyeol looked in the direction of the dunking booth to see Kyungsoo and Jun-Oh talking.

"What are they talking about?" Soojin wondered.

"I don't know, but this is good."

Kris glared at the two as he continued to wipe his shirt in irritation.

"Kris, could you keep it down?" Soojin told him. "I'm trying to make out what they're saying."

"Why are you so excited?" he questioned bitterly.

"Because we just got rid of a barrier blocking something beautiful," Chanyeol sighed.

"Very beautiful," Soojin added.

Chanyeol suddenly gasped. "Wait, is Kyungsoo smiling?"

"Yes! And Jun-Oh is laughing!" Soojin clapped her hands together. "Mission 2.0, Jun-Oh and Kyungsoo's road to happiness is almost complete."

Kris dropped the napkins he was holding. "You're trying to get them together right now?"

"Yes," Chanyeol conformed, turning to Kris. "And you're not going to do anything about it."

"What if I was already making a move?"

"I'm not letting you hurt Kyungsoo again." Chanyeol took a couple steps closer to Kris.

"It's his fault for being so slow," Kris muttered, starting to walk past Chanyeol.

Chanyeol reached out and yanked Kris back by the collar of his shirt. "I said you're not going to hurt him again."

Kris shrugged Chanyeol's grip away. "He got over Minji, didn't he? He can get over her too."

Soojin watched as Chanyeol clenched his jaw and balled his hands up into fists. "He was your friend."

Kris scoffed in response and turned away from Chanyeol.

Soojin could see a red tint fall on Chanyeol's face out of rage. She was about to step in and get Chanyeol out of the situation, but it was too late. He quickly shoved Kris behind a tent and threw a punch at his jaw.

"Oh my god!" Soojin yelled. She ran over to the two and saw Kris fight back. Xiumin left the hotdog stand, wanting to know what was the commotion.

   "Guys! Stop!" Xiumin pleaded.

"Cut it out!" Soojin added. "The both of you!"

Chanyeol grabbed ahold of Kris's shirt. "Just leave," he demanded, sending daggers from his glare.

Kris pushed Chanyeol off of him and wiped his bleeding lip. "Whatever, she wasn't even my type." Kris turned and walked away in fury.

Chanyeol let in and out a few deep breaths as he watched Kris leave.

Soojin took Chanyeol's arm and pulled him over to her while sending him an angry expression. "That was really unnecessary..." she paused, a small and amused smile replacing her anger. "But I'm oddly impressed."

Xiumin handed Soojin a clean napkin. She gently used the napkin to wipe the small amount of blood that ran from his nose.

"Do I still look handsome?" Chanyeol smiled mischievously.

Soojin laughed. "Debatable," she teased. "I can't believe you went off on him like that."

"I couldn't stand the way he was taking." Chanyeol huffed. "Thankfully he's gone now, and we can focus on Kyungsoo and Jun-Oh."

"Speaking of which, we should head back and see what's going on."
