( Previously in Chapter 15, Mayor Girukenchi and Kogeki went to the Jail section in order to get some information regarding these boiling situations happening around Zetralios )

( "The Police Head" Haruki and " The Soul Extinguisher" Shokaki had a brief conversation about that totem that he found it from a decayed body buried on the outskirts of Five-Sister's Village. Haruki finds the same mark that the accused has in his chest. Mayor calls it as some sort of symbol defines the pathway of evil that mentioned in the Universal Bible )

( And he points out the most important point that the mark is now being used as a symbol of rebirth and oscillation by a gang called " The Shuno gang " )

( Shokaki asks Haruki to open to door to ask him some questions )

{Haruki}: Huh?

{Shokaki}: Just let me talk to him, I might get something useful!

( Haruki doubts at Shokaki )

{Shokaki}: I won't do anything, I am not that kinda person now.

{Haruki}: Heh! Alright! But remember this,

{Girukenchi}: The totem you're holding is a cursed one. During the times of First Zetra-Silvannia war, the Silvannia ritualists created a way of capturing the souls of dead bodies to use them as their soldiers in the battlefield.

Once someone dies on the battlefield, they just tear the insides and place the totem which has the power to absorb the body's mandra and injects an evil energy into the soul which will finally rise as the " Unholy sprits " - Spirits that hold the curse of immortality.

After our second war, the Silvannia people experienced some haunting nightmares during their sleep. Once the Silvannia kingdom also noticed this problem, they started to realize that the unholy spirits turned their backs and gave people a nightmare ritual so that they can posses the fresh holy bodies.

Many people wanted to leave their homeland, but the king didn't want them to leave so he created a " Green Barrier " not letting anyone outside except their soldiers. Many people started to get possessed by them and started to attack the people. So, the king left with no choice of killing their own men, women and even children.

Many people sent secret messages to many countries seeking for help. We discussed with the other nation leaders, but decided to leave it.

Then, after the Third war... Things didn't go on the god's way!

All Silvannia people got possessed by the unholy spirits leaving no pure beings. The king realized his mistakes and used his full power lending from the " Hadal Demons " to destroy his whole population. He did what must be done for the greater good, payed his sins and got evaporated to the heavens!

Silvannia's history turned into ashes once it became the inhabitable zone. Till now, the presence when you enter inside... It will be like walking into a large cave with no entrance, no exit, Permanent Darkness!

{Kogeki}: That's..That's something right out a fantasy book! Why didn't we see these during our times at the battlefield?

{Girukencki}: That's because the King thought it would create a big problem in his forces if the spirit back forths at their side. So his secret spies tossed the totems into different inhabitant zones across the world before starting the Third war at us.

Which is why now we have unholy spirits wandering around, possessing the beings and causing threats!

{Haruki}: So that's why you sent Shokaki to do these missions because he possess the power of the "Tamashis"!

{Kogeki}: Now it all makes sense that why he wants to see him! He has more knowledge of the unholy spirits than any other ritualist.

( Girukenchi stares with a such tensed face at the one-way where Shokaki slowly goes towards the window )

( Shokaki rolls the screen and light flashes all over the place. The accused was tided up on the chair with leather ropes surrounding his hands and legs. He was in a nauseating mood that he starts moaning with a cracked voice, his eyes get blurry seeing the sunlight and dusts around him. He spins around and shakes his head to get a clear vision )

( Once he gets cleared, he sees Shokaki staring right into his face. The accused guy didn't seem to be surprised or flinch, he was laughing at him with no such fear )

{Shokaki}: Why such laughter? Didn't you get scared? (smirks)

( He stops his contagious laughter and spits saliva)

{The Accused}: Why should I?

I have seen many things scarier than this, so don't even try!

{Shokaki}: Hmph! Scarier than that.. If you have seen scarier things throughout your life, surely you would have got out it by yourself..Or..

( This comment made that accused boosted up a bit and sees Shokaki as an interesting person to observe )

{The Accused}: You know what, you look like a good guy besides that filth that doesn't even care about my story!

{Shokaki}: Your story, huh?

I like to hear stories from criminals like you, it makes more bond between you,me and the ongoing threats out there!

( Sits on the table in front of him )

( On the other side of the one-way mirror, Girukenchi and others gasps after hearing it )

( Shokaki gasps in shock of what he said in such little tone )

{The Accused}: The wars..the non-stop wars that your nation did made people like me lost hope in the world peace..

The three wars with you and Silvannia is a whole other topic to speak!

( After that, the accused outbursts his anger by wiggling the chair with such frustration )

YOU PEOPLE MADE THE WORLD PEACE BITS AND PIECES THAT WE THE AFFECTED ONES WERE FORCED TO CHASE OUR OWN FANTASIES THROUGH DREAMS. ZETRALIOS MADE US TO GO IN SUCH HELL THAT WE LOST HOPE IN HUMANITY ITSELF.

The Fifth Light lord gave us that hope that we the people wanted for generations. But, ritualists like you assassinated him and made the whole forest burn. His death not only burnt the hearts of people like us, it burned the light prophecy itself.

{Girukenchi}: KOGEKI?

{Kogeki}: Tsk..That idiot! WHAT DOES HE KNOW ABOUT US? WHAT DOES HE KNOW ABOUT ZETRALIOS? HOW DARE HE TO TELL SUCH THINGS ABOUT OUR NATION!!

{Haruki}: Just calm yourself, Kogeki!

( Kogeki looks at Haruki and gets stunned to see his eyes were dead serious at the conversation )

Whatever that guy just said is all his point of view on us. We don't know exactly what's the reason, but when I had talked with that guy, his eyes were like blood-red, I saw something very disturbing through him. I don't know what exactly was it, but one thing I can sure of it that he..

..Was very obsessed to kill anybody in his way!

( Now inside, we see Shokaki sitting on the table, putting hands on his chin. The accused's eyes were blood red with tears running all over the eyelids )

{Shokaki}: I see where you're going...

( Shokaki jumps off the table and walks around the accused. He gets slightly confused by seeing it )

Let me continue your story where you left, Mr... Junpei!

{The Accused}: HUH? NANI??!!

{Haruki}: ( Tsk! I knew he would it, but I didn't expect it to come this early! )

{Shokaki}: After you and your people escaped from the forest, you got dragged into the mobs at the Zetralios border, you and your people started to dig out the way but was captured at the last minute!

You and your men got beaten up with broken bones on your ribs and right shoulder which took you several months to recover and the women got whipped on their backs. Their screams echoed all over the place that the children got scared hearing such horrible noises! The mine you were working in gave you some breathing problems and the children were also used as porters to carry all the coals to the storage.

After some years of struggling, children, men and women didn't have proper rations from the mobsters to eat, so a massive storm of starvation hits in your camp...and..

(coughs)..Many...many..

( Shokaki holds his emotion and the guy slowing started to whimp. Girukenchi and others didn't know how to feel )

And... you and the survived ones saw your people and children's dead bodies getting incinerated. The mothers of that children...their cries...their screams...made your whole body shiver in crazy that you couldn't do anything because you were no a fighter!

Your people number slowly started to get disappearing day by day. And you started to hate this whole world, this society, this discrimination which all forged together into one motive.

( Shokaki stares at Junpei straight into his face but this time he got legit scared )
