Background: Her mother, after falling down Ebott after an earthquake, became a friend-turned-lover to Sans, but after an "interesting" night, she left the barrier without a trace. Her mom ended up being pregnant but didn't want her, so she threw Cristle into the hole. After her first year being raised by Toriel, the curious child wandered off into Snowdin forest, where Sans met his daughter and took care of her up until Frisk arrives.
