"It's nice to finally meet you, Daiouji Emma," Cubbonyan shook her hand, smiling gently at her. 

The blonde female smiled back, sitting daintily on the sofa as the two sat in Y Gakuen's cafe, with the addition of Cuddly, "No worries. I don't know what this is about, though." 

"Well, it's related to my daughter, Bearlynda," Cuddly began. 

At that name, Emma bit her lip in frustration, but hid it with a tight smile, "W-What about her?" 

The tightness in her tone did not go unnoticed by the two, and Cubbonyan had to resist a facepalm. He knew that FC Jorogumo was quite mischievous, but to tease Emma when she came over to pick Lyn up (or rescue her, in Lyn's words) from Y Gakuen that ONE time, wasn't that a bit too overkill? 

He had a feeling that this would be the topic over dinner, and thus he was relieved that he wouldn't be there in favour of a date with Kukurihime. He was sure that it was going to be two things; awkward and funny. He didn't want to laugh himself to death. That would make it all the worse, if anyone asked. 

He sighed. He just wanted to be over and done with this, so he nudged Cuddly to start. 

The older male pinched the bridge of his nose, but agreed with the other. 

"We're here to say that Lyn's mom is a bit of a prankster," Cuddly began, treading carefully to make sure he didn't say something wrong. "She... was joking when she said that Lyn could be dating Jinpei. She hadn't known that you were already dating him."

"We're sorry for her," Cubbonyan continued. "She can be mischievous, but that was kinda out of line. We hope you can forgive her."

"Yeah," Cuddly nodded. "None of us had known that you were dating him, so we apologise for that." 

Emma thought about it inwardly. What was she going to do? Forgive her? It was a bit painful, yes, but it had been a joke. Nothing more, nothing less. 

At the same time, she was also relieved that Jinpei wasn't cheating on her. She had been so scared, so it was a good thing that they had come over to explain everything. 

She sighed, but a smile formed on her face as she looked at the two, saying, "Alright, I forgive her. Please tell her that, and also that she should come over herself to explain the misunderstanding next time." 

"Well, she wanted to come, but she had a mission to do out of nowhere. But she promised to come here to talk to you again once she's free," Cuddly said. 

She smiled back at them, "That's a relief. Thank you for taking the time to come here to explain it."

The two nodded, getting up as relief washed over them. They were glad that this was finally over. 

Emma herself felt good. She mentally decided to apologise to Lyn about it when she saw her again. She was going to turn a new leaf! That she was sure of.
