Chapter 7.1

Somewhere in Soell system

Somewhere within the vast reaches of the Soell system—far removed from the shattered remains of Installation 04, the now-destroyed Halo ring—a long-forgotten Forerunner structure had emerged from obscurity. Hidden from discovery for millennia, this colossal construct, designated Shield World 0078, had remained cloaked in silence until the aftermath of the Human-Covenant War. Known as Metarchis, this awe-inspiring world was not merely a fortress; it was a cradle of creation. Designed by the Forerunners themselves, its core purpose was to build, repair, and fabricate with precision and purpose—serving as a bastion for manufacturing weapons, automated constructs, starships, and even safe harbor for civilian populations in times of crisis.

When the United Nations Space Command's expeditionary fleet stumbled upon Metarchis in the post-war era, they encountered a serene yet imposing Forerunner monitor, a female-voiced custodian who identified herself as 078-Vallesari. Unlike many Forerunner AIs like Guilty Spark, she welcomed the humans as Reclaimers and pledged her assistance in whatever capacity was needed.

Under her guidance and with Forerunner tools at their disposal, the UNSC began the construction of a new generation of warships—vessels integrated with advanced Forerunner technology. The key to this monumental feat lay in an entirely new class of Sentinel machines known only as Builder Sentinels. Unlike the more familiar Constructor Sentinels encountered at other Halo installations and The Ark, these Builders were marvels of precision engineering. They constructed massive structures and complex technologies by scanning matter at the molecular level—melding hyper-advanced nanotechnology, quantum-level material synthesis, and hard light fabrication into seamless, nearly living machinery.

In utmost secrecy, the UNSC initiated a classified project: the development of a next-generation warship, a prototype capable of withstanding catastrophic damage and delivering annihilating force with a single strike. Only a select few knew of its existence. That fragile veil of secrecy, however, was destined to be tested.

With the rise of Cortana and her creation of a group known as The Created, who wielded the dormant Guardians as instruments of galactic subjugation, the very fabric of civilization began to tear. Yet, by some providence or oversight, The UNSC fleet were spared the devastating electromagnetic pulse that Cortana unleashed through the Guardians. That reprieve would not last long, for they soon found themselves engaged by Sali 'Nyon's Covenant forces. Though the battle left many vessels crippled, the fleet managed to retreat back to Metarchis, seeking shelter at the shield world.

The project continued, closer now to completion than ever before. More fleets, scattered and damaged by the Guardian or any hostile faction assaults, limped through space to join them, seeking sanctuary. Refugees poured in—civilians displaced by the Created, hunted by the Banished, or driven from their homes by the resurgence of Covenant remnants. For now, Metarchis remained a rare sanctuary, its shielded bastions and Builder Sentinels ensuring that the flame of resistance continued to burn.

And then, the galaxy shifted once more.

News broke across the galaxy that the Guardians—those towering, godlike machines once controlled by Cortana—were suddenly deactivated. Some drifted in the void of space; others crashed onto planetary surfaces like ancient titans laid low. A wave of relief spread among humanity and the aliens, for it seemed Cortana had been defeated.

Then came a singular event that would change everything. One remaining Guardian Custode arrived above Metarchis, though its systems were completely shut down. It carried with it an impossible artifact—an entire fragment of synthetic terrain believed to originate from The Ark. Investigations began immediately, led by Vallesari and the Builder Sentinels, who retrieved both the dormant Guardian and the terrain for analysis. Soon, a UNSC signal was detected from within the fragment. When decrypted, the origin was confirmed: Professor Ellen Anders.

Aboard that fragment—rescued from silence—was a surviving crew member of the long-lost Spirit of Fire, the legendary vessel presumed missing for decades. Anders, now clad in practical attire she had chosen for this new accompany, walked alongside Vice Admiral Rowan Graysmith, a high-ranking officer and battle-hardened veteran of the Human-Covenant War. Graysmith, a tall and composed African-American man, carried the gravitas of command with quiet dignity. At his side marched Commander Marian Jablonska, his loyal subordinate and trusted ally through the worst of humanity's darkest conflicts known as the Human-Covenant War.

Together, the trio passed through one of the immense shipyard bays, where Builder Sentinels tirelessly assembled warships embedded with Forerunner systems. Constructor Sentinels glided between broken hulls and mangled decks, mending battle scars as though weaving threads into a tapestry.

"Vice Admiral," Anders began, her tone steady, "if there's still a chance, we must send a rapid-strike fleet to The Ark. We have to assist the Spirit of Fire and retake the Ark the Banished still holds."

Graysmith paused in his stride, his eyes distant but alert. "I understand your urgency, Professor," he said after a moment. "The Spirit of Fire and her crew lost in space are alive and well. Taking back the Ark would be a decisive victory. But we've only just re-established secure communications with several other UNSC holdouts. The galaxy is far from stable. The Banished have spread across every known sector, assaulting human and Sangheili colonies alike. Rumors speak of Covenant remnants aligning under a main group—the so-called Order of Restoration. And now... the Insurrectionists have risen from the shadows, exploiting this chaos to strike our worlds."

He exhaled slowly and pinched the bridge of his nose, clearly worn by the storm of crises. "I've never seen the galaxy teeter on this many blades."

Commander Marian spoke next, addressing Anders with tempered logic. "If there are still UNSC enclaves scattered across distant sectors, then perhaps they can be redirected toward The Ark. We'll need every surviving asset we can gather."

"But—" Anders started to interject, her voice tinged with frustration.

Marian cut her off, gently but firmly. "Professor, I understand your situation. But we have our priority here. Thousands of civilians have found safety here on Metarchis. While we have Monitor Vallesari on our side, and Sentinels guarding the skies, we cannot afford to stretch our defenses thin. The Banished or other enemies are prowling the stars, waiting for a moment of weakness."

Anders lowered her gaze, her breath leaving her in a slow, heavy sigh.

"Understood," she murmured.

As they continue walking, a floating punch-colored monitor goes flying at them. Her name is 078-Vallesari or simply called Valessari. She went close to them and spoke in feminine voice.

"Vice Admiral." She said,

He nodded. "Vallesari. Good to see you. I hope you remembered Prof. Ellen Anders over here. She is the one stranded on a terrain piece of the Ark."

"Certainly!" She said, before turning at her. "Hello Professor Anders, we haven't properly introduced ourselves. I am 078-Vallesari, monitor of the shield world 0078, Metarchis. I am humbly assistance to whatever you need."

"Yes. I've read a report about Forerunner AI that resides on halo rings or shield worlds like this one." She said,

"Wonderful!" Vallesari let out excitement, but behaved with composure. "If you need me something for assistance, I would glad to do so."

"Thanks. Never seen a monitor who is so enthusiastic." She said,

"Why thank you. I was so lonely for millennia ever since my creators—" She is going into full details about her being alone in this shield world for millennia when the vice admiral interrupts her.

"My apologies, Vallesari. But I want a full report of what you're going to say." Vice admiral said.

"Oh! My apologies, Vice Admiral." She said before she went to share a report to him. " As you know, the builder sentinels have accomplished the project as you requested. There are other warships that are completed though some need some modification before they could integrate our technology to your vessel."

"A project?" She questioned the curiosity of what kind of project the vice admiral is working on.

"I see... I want to see it for myself." He said.

"Right! Right this way." She said, leading them to the new completed navy vessel.

When they arrived there, they saw an enormous battleship-supercarrier that man had created in such ambitious thoughts of military and technological supremacy. This is called the UNSC Eternity-class Battleship-Supercarrier. Towering above even the Infinity-class in both scale and capability, the Eternity is a fusion of human resilience and Forerunner precision, embodying a formidable hybrid design that redefines the limits of warship architecture. At an awe-inspiring length of 5,694.2 meters, a width of 833.3 meters, and a height of 1,041.2 meters, the vessel commands an immense presence, rivaled only by its unmatched mass of 970 million metric tons. Its silhouette casts a monolithic shadow across the void of space, a symbol of dominance and unyielding firepower.

The forward profile of the Eternity is sleek yet heavily armored, with a pronounced prow that houses the devastating Hyper-Mega Hardlight Beam Cannon, its long barrel embedded with luminous etchings of Forerunner matrix lines and human structural fortifications. Its armored frontal flanks also conceal additional beam emitters, each capable of puncturing every tough plating armor with ease. The ship's hull, forged from a seamless fusion of titanium-A3, nanolaminate alloys, and molecularly-bonded Forerunner armor plating, exhibits an angular and multilayered design, resisting both kinetic and energy-based assaults while maintaining advanced field harmonization with its integrated dispersal shielding systems.

Ten gargantuan hangars are evenly distributed along both sides of the Eternity's midsection. Each hangar is capable of accommodating squadrons of Broadswords, Longswords, Pelicans, hybrid aerospace strike craft, and even compact corvettes. These internal bays span multiple vertical levels, with electromagnetic catapult lanes and suspended gantries that allow for simultaneous deployment and retrieval operations during full-scale assaults.

The dorsal and ventral sections of the warship are reinforced by the formidable Dorsal Mark 2551 MAC network, consisting of ten ultra-heavy Magnetic Accelerator Cannons with fusion-forged rails and guided smart-slugs, augmented by a matrix of 830 Fortress 70mm guns that provide close-range flak coverage. In between the dorsal towers and ventral armor belts, eight large-size energy projectors mounted in bilateral symmetry unleash charged disintegration beams adapted from reverse-engineered Forerunner weaponry. These systems are supplemented by 250 Rapier missile batteries, 350 Archer pods, 500 Howler multi-role launchers, and 190 guided plasma missile emplacements, each contributing to the vessel's overwhelming area denial capacity.

A total of 200 twin-barrel naval plasma cannons line the outer hull, glowing faintly with an ominous blue hue, and acting as both defensive and offensive anti-capital weapons. It has eight torpedo launchers at the front for anti-ship combat. The stern houses multiple booster repulsor engines arranged in vertical and radial configurations, supporting precision movement, gravitational manipulation, and slipstream acceleration. These secondary thrusters encircle the main propulsion system—a hybridized fusion-vacuum drive that enables spatial folding and prolonged interstellar endurance. This system feeds directly into the Eternity's slipspace matrix core, a hybrid Human-Forerunner drive system that folds space with unparalleled accuracy, speed, and stealth.

The bridge of the Eternity sits embedded within a heavily reinforced dorsal tower at the central axis of the ship. Its armored shell protects a panoramic command center filled with both human digital interfaces and hardlight Forerunner displays. Tactical projections stretch across holographic partitions, and control nodes synchronize effortlessly with sensor arrays and battlefield communication networks. The exterior superstructure is marked by sweeping ridgelines, recessed hangar decks, and flared prow fins, each sculpted with a brutal elegance that reflects the union of utilitarian design and ancient alien refinement.

Throughout its surface, anti-aircraft gun arrays and guided plasma torpedo launchers lie concealed within retractable armored panels, ready to engage threats from all vectors. The vessel is also armed with numerous HAVOK-class nuclear weapons, stored in armored vaults for strategic deployment. The Eternity's shield grid, powered by a network of MG-44N heavy dispersal field generators, wraps the warship in a shimmering barrier of deflective energy, dynamically modulating against kinetic bursts and directed energy assaults.

After a moment of silent reverence, as the newly completed warship loomed in the distance like a god-forged leviathan, Vice Admiral Rowan Graysmith stepped forward, his voice firm and steady as it echoed across the high platform overlooking the drydock.

"Ladies and gentlemen," he declared with resolute pride, "allow me to present to you... the Eternity-class Battle Supercarrier. A marvel of military engineering, and perhaps the greatest technological achievement in human naval design."

Gasps of awe from two people. Professor Ellen Anders, standing near the forefront, could not hide her astonishment. Her eyes widened as the sheer magnitude of the vessel came into view—its form both elegant and overwhelming, a titan among warships.

"Whoa..." she whispered, the breath caught in her throat.

Rowan's gaze remained fixed on the ship, his voice lowering into a more reflective tone. "Originally conceived during the latter years of the Human-Covenant War, the Eternity-class was designed as a next-generation supercarrier—meant to be the direct sister to the Infinity-class. In fact, it was envisioned to surpass the Infinity itself, constructed at nearly double the size. But fate, as always, had other plans. By late September of 2558, construction was indefinitely postponed. Every scrap of material and engineering asset once designated for Eternity was reallocated to Infinity supercarrier instead. The decision was necessary from UNSC HIGHCOM in order to end the war. The project was shelved after the Infinity supercarrier suffered structural damage during the Battle of Aktis IV, followed by a brutal ambush carried out by the New Colonial Alliance and a mercenary faction composed of ex-Covenant members. We thought that project was lost forever."

He gestured toward the shield world that now surrounded them, glowing faintly with Forerunner light and ambient energy. "But then we found this place... and with the monitor's aid, we salvaged more than schematics. We restart the project. And now, at last, we've finished the battle supercarrier that humanity has been waiting for so long."

Anders, still absorbing the sheer implications of the vessel before her, silently contemplated the strategic potential of the Eternity-class. In a galaxy fractured by war, rebellion, and ancient machines gone rogue, the very existence of this warship symbolized something far more than firepower—it was a declaration. A weapon forged not just to defend, but to dominate.

It was a dream brought to life.

Hovering beside them, Monitor 078-Vallesari initiated a briefing with clinical precision, her voice echoing with melodic calm. "We have successfully integrated advanced Forerunner systems into your battle supercarrier's infrastructure. Its armored hull is a fusion of human titanium-A3 alloy, nanolaminate composites, and refined Forerunner personal armor plating. This blend allows it to absorb and resist extraordinary amounts of damage. In addition, the vessel is equipped with MG-44N heavy dispersal field generators, which are capable of deflecting both kinetic projectiles and directed-energy attacks."

She floated forward slightly as the warship's gleaming silhouette cast a long shadow across the platform.

"For its primary offense," she continued, "we have installed a dorsal-mounted Hyper-Mega Hardlight Beam Cannon. Each emitter is capable of channeling highly concentrated hardlight beams, designed to penetrate even the most heavily armored plating in the known galaxy."

Commander Marian Jablonska, his expression tight with tactical curiosity, raised a hand to inquire further. "Pardon the interruption, but how many personnel can be stationed aboard such a massive warship?"

Without hesitation, Vallesari responded. "The Eternity-class Battle Supercarrier is designed to accommodate a crew complement ranging from ninety-five thousand to one hundred five thousand individuals. This includes all essential naval personnel, ground forces, engineering corps, and support staff."

Anders blinked in disbelief. Her head tilted slightly, trying to mentally grasp the sheer scale involved. "That's... incredible," she muttered. "You could practically fit a city in there. A fully operational military city, floating through space."

Vallesari continued. "With the latest modifications now fully integrated, this vessel possesses an arsenal vast enough to dominate any naval engagement or hold firm against overwhelming threats. Its offensive and defensive systems have been designed not only to repel, but to annihilate."

She turned her focus toward the towering dorsal structure of the warship, which loomed like the spine of a slumbering colossus. "The Dorsal Mark 2551 MAC network has been reinforced to optimal capacity. It comprises ten ultra-heavy Magnetic Accelerator Cannons, each forged with fusion-tempered rail assemblies and capable of launching guided smart-slugs at relativistic velocities. These weapons are calibrated for precision strikes against enemy capital ships, planetary fortifications, and even orbital installations, ensuring dominance across all strategic theaters."

Her light dimmed briefly as she shifted to the vessel's secondary batteries. "The hull is protected by a matrix of eight hundred thirty Fortress-pattern seventy-millimeter guns, positioned for maximum close-range flak coverage. These turrets provide an impenetrable defensive screen against enemy fighters, drones, and incoming projectiles. We also added torpedo launchers at the front for straightforward naval vassal combat or use homing guided torpedo systems if needed."

She gestured to the long silhouette of the supercarrier's midsection, its armored plating seamless and vast. "Nestled between the dorsal towers and ventral armor belts are eight large-scale energy projectors mounted in bilateral symmetry. These devices are the result of extensive reverse-engineering of Forerunner disintegration beams—capable of unleashing focused energy surges that obliterate dense matter in seconds. Their presence alone serves as a deterrent to any would-be adversary."

Her tone remained calm and clinical, though the implications of her words echoed with silent intensity. "In support of its missile systems, the vessel carries two hundred fifty Rapier batteries, three hundred fifty Archer missile pods, and five hundred Howler-class multi-role launchers—all designed to saturate target zones with overwhelming payloads. Additionally, one hundred ninety guided plasma missile emplacements are installed across strategic sections of the ship, each one adapted from modified Covenant technology and capable of tracking and neutralizing both mobile and static targets at extraordinary range."

A pause followed as she slowly rotated to reveal the outer hull via projection. "Lining the exterior surface are two hundred twin-barrel naval plasma cannons, their barrels faintly illuminated with an eerie blue glow—an ominous signal to those who understand their purpose. These turrets function as both anti-capital ship weapons and long-range suppression batteries, able to pierce shields and hulls with brute force and coordinated fire."

Vallesari's voice softened into something that could almost be called reverent. "Along the vessel's upper plating and armored ridges, you will find retractable panels concealing arrays of anti-aircraft guns and guided plasma torpedo launchers. These hidden systems activate in synchronized defense protocols, rising from their armored compartments only when threats from all vectors emerge. They strike with speed, precision, and devastating intent."

She concluded with a quiet final note, one that underscored the magnitude of the warship's destructive potential. "And lastly, deep within the reinforced vaults of the lower deck, there lies a secured armory of HAVOK-class nuclear warheads—strategic payloads reserved for only the most dire scenarios. Their inclusion ensures that this vessel is not merely a weapon of war, but a final answer to any existential threat."

Anders was surprised about nuclear warheads stored in the massive warship. "You have nuclear warheads in there, vice admiral!"

Commander Marian spoke up on his behalf. "We believe the necessity to use any situation to strike on the enemy if it becomes a greater threat."

Vice Admiral Rowan nodded to know that what he said was true. In his mind, he needed those numbers of nuclear warheads to face any situation that posed a greeter threat like Cortana or The Created, but since they are no more, it goes to The Banished and The Covenant Remnants that may reunite into one powerhouse in the galaxy to return the old empire. He'll make sure his enemies will be decimated once he shows them to his Eternity-class battleship-supercarrier for imitation, dominance, and retaliation.

His thoughts interrupted when Vallesari spoke to him.

"Vice Admiral, I must also add that there's something I would like to show you, something my creator has created. Something I forgot to tell you." A female monitor said.

Rowan raise his eyebrow. "Wait. There's something your creators have made that you never mention?"

"Yes. My apologies. I've been so alone for a very long time that I have forgotten about the important part when your kind arrives here. Please follow me." She said as she floated around to lead three humans behind her.

Beyond the shipyard, they've reached the destination where they see something surprising beyond their eyes. They see the enormous size of the Forerunner-origin structure of what appears to be a portal gateway. They are so astonished to see the colossal size that ships can fit in there, and they've no idea that it's been there beyond near the shipyard, though they never know the purpose of it.

Vallesari explains to the humans. "What you see here, reclaimers, is the gateway that activates the portal."

"Whoa... I've never seen it that size before in other places." She said in awe, looking at the enormous portal gateway.

Vice Admiral Rowan looked at the Forerunner monitor. "Vallesari, what do we know about this gateway?"

"Oh yes! You see, when they are at war against Ancient Humans, and before the war against the Flood, my creators make some contingency plan in the process of their survival if something bad happens. So, without the consent of their council, they went on building this gateway." She said, "It remains secret to their own council without knowing they act on their own. They did this to get their people to escape to a different universe from the parasite onslaught. I am being selected by them when they pull me away from following the protocol to protect the halo arrays."

"Wait, wait, wait, so you're saying that they are alive somewhere out there?" Commander Marian asked.

"That's correct." A female monitor nodded.

"Wait!" Anders spoke in realization of what Vallesari talked about. "You're talking about the multiverse, am I correct?"

"Indeed, Prof. Anders. You see, the Forerunner acknowledges the existence of the multiverse, which is dismissed by the council. They were determined to make it work and they did it by building this gateway. When they heard they were about to activate the halo rings to take out the Flood and all lifeforms across the galaxy, they and the remaining ones with them went through this gateway." Vallesari said.

Commander Marian, so dumbfounded that not only does he learn the Forerunner knows the multiverse existence like coming out of a sci-fi novel, but also that there are Forerunner survivors alive somewhere or wherever they are. He couldn't find some answers in his mind to comprehend this information. He wonders how the ONI, UNSC HIGHCOM, or UED government would react to this shocking information that Forerunner built a gateway to the multiverse to escape from the Flood spreading across the universe.

Vice Admiral Rowan, despite being shocked by this information, remains his composure says to the Forerunner monitor. "Vallesari, could you take us to some sort of station that operates to that gateway?"

"Certainly! This way." Vallesari said, leading them to the station.

They've reached the station inside where they are consoles powering on for a few generations. There are constructor sentinels flying around in the room, for wandering or repairing things to keep it stable.

"Right there is the station console where my creators operate the gateway that activates the portal when they gather their people to safety somewhere in a different universe before halo arrays fire. Once they succeed, they order me to remain here to protect this shield world from any upcoming threats, and if it fails, this shield world has a self-destruct system in case it is taken over by the Flood." She said,

"Okay. That really scared me that this shield world has a self-destruct sequence." She said, admittedly scared of unaware a shield world has a self-destruct system.

"Lucikly it didn't happen so it won't be happening for now. But we added it as part of contingency protocol if necessary to prevent us from getting into the wrong hands." He said to his others before looking back at the Forerunner monitor. "Can I have my best engineers and scientists to take over this place?"

A monitor nodded. "Why, of course! Anything for the reclaimers."

"Well, at least we know she ain't hostile like the last one." Commander Marian commented to the vice admiral.

Anders goes to the console for scientific curiosity to know about this station since she has never experienced using Forerunner consoles in her missions. As she touches the consoles, she presses something that would pick-up the unknown signal frequency.

"Um, vice admiral, commander, you may want to see this." She called out at them.

They approached her to the console to see the holographic signal frequency.

Vallesari knew this and explained. "Ah yes. This one is a frequency locator. This allows us to track and pinpoint on any of the unknown anomalies that appear to our universe or are trapped in a different universe, or any Forerunner survivors that would know their whereabouts, knowing they are alive."

"Is that so? Hm, so professor, do you know what frequency this is?" He asked.

"Hold on. Let me..." Anders presses the console anywhere that she is able to figure it out to decrypt the unknown signal frequency. "Got it! Okay it's... holy shit. Sir, you won't believe what I've seen." She is shocked when she is able to decrypt it.

"Tell me, professor. What is it?" A vice admiral said.

"It's... It's the UNSC." She said shockingly. Everyone else is shocked too by this revelation.

"What! It can't be...!?" A female monitor was shocked and distraught at how there's UNSC signal frequency in different universes when they do not possess such advanced technology as her creators.

"How is it possible?" The commander was shocked too.

"Professor, can you pinpoint the location or their frequency?" A vice admiral said.

"Allow me." Vallesari moves aside Anders and decrypts it to pinpoint their location. After that, she is able to pinpoint their location in a different universe.

"According to the location of their frequency, they've been trapped in Universe No. 071979." She said to the humans. "It is very unknown how they got trapped there. There's no possible explanation of how they ended up there." She is confused and worried about how those humans from UNSC ended up in different universes without using portal gateways.

Vice Admiral Rowan asked. "Can you track it? Whom does it come from?"

"Let me check." A monitor analyzes it to identify the signal frequency of the UNSC trapped in that different universe. "It's from the survivors who claim to be Infinity."

"Infinity?" Anders was confused.

"Wait. That's the UNSC Infinity-class supercarrier!?" A commander is shocked to learn the UNSC Infinity is the one making signal frequency trapped in a different universe.

"Wait, you mean the Infinity-class supercarrier you talk about. The one we never heard of in their last transmission of arriving in Zeta Halo?" She said to the commander.

Without any delay, Vice Admiral Rowan takes a deep breath and asks the monitor about the UNSC Eternity-class battle supercarrier. "Vallesari, are you sure Eternity is fully completed?"

"Yes. It is. Why are you asking?" A monitor said.

Anders and Marian were confused until they realized what he was about to do to something serious.

"Sir, sir, you're not thinking about what you're about to do." a commander tries to object to the vice admiral's decision to leave to the unknown universe.

"Marian..." He turned around at him with a serious and determined expression. "I've known him since he was a young cadet. I've visited the training academy to see how potential he is, just like the others, to take whatever things tries to stop him, he always determines no matter what. And when he was promoted to be captain of Infinity supercarrier after Del Rico retired from his duty, I am so proud to see him grow from young cadet to grown, determined man taking responsibility. That boy owes me much, and I owe you that, and I also swore an oath to never leave every man and woman behind. I will not leave him and his people behind, commander. I make sure they'll get home safely to our universe."

His speech amazes Commander Marian, Anders, and even Vallesari who couldn't believe to see someone like him is determined to do whatever it takes to bring his people home from that universe they are trapped in. Afterward, the commander changed his subject and said to him,

"Who will go, sir?"

"Me, commander. Along with Eternity. It's time for my big sister to bring her sister home." A vice admiral said. He turned his face at Anders. "What about you, professor? Will you join me to save them?"

Thinking of her decision, she decided that she'll take this opportunity without wasting it to learn more about multiverse existence she has always wanted since her young age.

"Yes. As long as you call someone to head the Ark and save my people of the Spirit on Fire and defeat the Banished there, then I'll come with you too." Ander said in determined.

A vice admiral smiled. "Alright then. I'll consult my other officers to take over control of this place. Vallesari, I want you to stay here as a defensive system against any threats coming to Metarchis."

A female monitor agrees. "Of course. After all, this is my installation that needs to be protected from any threats."

A commander asked him. "When do we leave?"

"Three days." A vice admiral said, "We'll leave in three days for preparation then we go through that portal. It's time to find them and bring them home."

...

Timeskip

...

Three days later, the Eternity-class Battle Supercarrier is completed and prepares to leave for another universe by going through the portal gateway the Forerunner has built. The civilians waving their hands or handkerchiefs at the colossal battle supercarrier they have ever seen in their lives while UNSC soldiers and marines who remain here gave salute to the vice admiral and the others along with him to adventure to the unknown. Other high-ranking officers gave salute to the vice admiral too to get back to safety along with everyone else.

Not only is the Eternity-class battle supercarrier going to adventure into an unknown universe, there are other vessels coming with it from the behind. Ten strident-class heavy frigates are stored at the hangar bay beneath the Eternity-class Battle Supercarrier for quick deployment. Other ships behind the Eternity-class battle supercarrier are six Mulsanne-class light frigates, four Point Blank-class stealth cruisers, two Vulcan-class Repair Ships, and three Artemis-class battlecruisers. These volunteers join Vice Admiral Rowan to search-and-rescue the survivors of Infinity trapped in that unknown universe from the other side.

Inside the bridge, Vice Admiral Rowan and Commander Rowan gave salutes back to everyone on the screen. There is a male UNSC AI wearing UNSC military uniform who goes by the name Jamerio. Not all AIs join Cortana and the Created for galactic dominance, there are some AIs who remain loyal to the UNSC and see her actions as treason that breaks the relationship between humanity and AI that have fought together in the Human-Covenant War. Vallesari at the station opens up a gateway to make a largest size portal that space navy vessels can fit in there. They watched the Eternity battle supercarrier entering the portal first, then the rest of the ships followed by. After all ships enter the portal, the gateway closes down the portal.

Inside the station, Vallesari stared at the gateway after the portal closed, praying that they'll come back safely from that unknown universe. Wherever they are now, she hopes that they'll be okay there.

"Please reclaimers... Make sure you come back home safely. The multiverse has infinite possibilities that no one, not even my creators could understand." A female monitor said, hoping for their best to return safely along with their brethren trapped on the other side of the different universe.
