Universal Book Club is finally back to Wattpad! Yay!

We took a break because the old book kept getting deleted but now we are back. So, without further ado, the rules will be laid down below. Because as much as we might hate them, every organisation need rules to function properly.

RULES

1. Follow this account and that of the admin, maramartha.

2. All your books must abide by the Wattpad guidelines, that is, it must be labelled accordingly (rated mature for mature stories). You must also follow the Wattpad Code of Conduct and your stories must abide by the Content Guidelines.

3a.To avoid putting pressure on Authors to meet up with the reading deadline while still writing, we will take only books with 20 chapters and above. Chapters that are titled prologues, cast/trailers/playlist are not included in the 20 chapters.
b. If your book has less than 20 chapters, it will only be accepted if you are consistent with your updates. That way we are assured that your book won't delay the others.

4. The admin does not take part in the reading neither do the moderators but they will partake in reading the book of the week.

5. One book per member and the book must be less than 50K reads.

6. All members will be divided into batches with a moderator assigned to each batch and you are expected to listen to your batch moderator.

7. You must be on WhatsApp and at the end of each month, you will share with the WhatsApp group a short review of the stories you have read.

8. If you cannot meet up before the deadline, reach out to the admin or your moderator. If you miss out on the readings two times in a row, you will be removed without notice.

9. To know those who read this chapter, we will use a password when filling the form. Your password is your state/country of birth.

10. Be respectful when commenting on the stories. If you must correct the writer, do it constructively and in the kindest way possible.

1. We now have a book cover, review and editing shop. If you are in need of any of those services, hop on to the books to check them out.

2. Book of the week:
At the end of each week, the admin, with the help of the moderators will pick out one of the readers. Then the admin and moderators will read three chapters from a book of the winner's choosing.

Book of the month:
This is for the overall dedicated member of each month;
• (S)he gets her book reviewed for free by the account's reviewer.
• Everyone has to read five chapters from a book of the winner's choosing.
Note: This person is chosen by the admin and moderators.

3. At the end of every tenth chapter, we will take a week off. During that period, we will collate reviews, suggestions and whatnots from the members.
