Alien words~ Malmur:metal

"Man, when I go I want all the information in my brain to be stored on a giant ship!" Lance lets out a blissful sigh and Keith scoffs.

"The amount of information in your brain could be stored in a paper airplane." I let out a chuckle from my position against the wall. The only thing keeping me standing and semi awake is this wall, so I'm grateful to it.

"Oh yeah? Well the amount of information you have Keith..."

"Yeeeessss?"

"Uuhhh it's less than I have!" Shiro let out [as I call it] the dad sigh of disappointment. I wonder if he notices the sexual tension as well? Maybe it's imaginary. I am very tired, so I might be hallucinating.

I sigh as the ticks wear on. Ticks slowly turned into Dobashes which turned into a varga. I had tried to pass the time by telling stories of stupid stuff I've done during my childhood. I had told many tales, including a personal favorite of mine in which I had convinced Lotor to sneak out of the palace and to hunt space pirates with me. Father had not been happy about that.

"Mags, You should go to bed," Shiro's voice was soft but stern as he placed a hand on my shoulder. Before I could protest, he added "Now." Welp, as much as I would love to argue with that, I am pretty tired. So I a will listen. Just this once.

Dream/Flashback :
"Psst Lotor, are you awake?" The annoyed prince turned over to face his twin. His shoulder length hair created a semi circle on his pillow, a single strand falling into his face.

"I appear to be awake. What do you want, Ryn?" His indigo eyes glared slightly at Magryn, which is the proper reaction to being awoken.

"I want to show you something. " Grumbling about it being to early, Lotor reluctantly obliged and followed the girl to her room.

"Ok, what was so important that you had to wake me up?" Magryn winced slightly before pulling out to knives, each with the same symbol on them. Lotor remained silent, only raising one judge-mental eyebrow.

"They're luxite blades. They are made of a rare metal that allows them to do this..." One of the knives transformed itself into a sword. "Each blade connects to the owners life source. I just thought...it would be a way for us to know if the other is safe in case if one of us decided to leave the empire."

"Thank you, but why would one of leave the empire?"

"You don't truly want Father ruling over you till the Quintent you die, do you?"

"I suppose not."

"Prince Lotor, Princess Magryn, why are you two still awake?"

End dream/Flashback:

I awoke with a start and I plop back down onto my bed with a slight smile. I hope he's alive. My mind flickers to his sword. The main reason I thought so hard to stay out of the prison cell was to keep it on me. Now it sits somewhere in a box if I am lucky. I pull out my communication device that I've been tinkering with. It was a stolen piece of Galra technology that I have enhanced with Altean technology. Within several quintents I shall be prepared to fill in Kolivan on my location safely.

I hear a faint yelling from down the hall and I hide my device before I go to investigate. I arrive just in time to see Keith pulling Lance inside from the airlock.

"Let me guess ...the castle just tried to kill you two?"

"Wha...how'd you know?!" Lance exclaims and I shrug.

"I suspected that the crystal would have some negative side effects. Now let's go. Stay vigilant."

Mini time skip:

"How can you guys be taking a nap while this castle is trying to kill us?!" Lance asks in a demanding tone as we approach Pidge and Hunk. I am at the the back of the triangle  formed by Lance, Keith, and Coran.

"We weren't taking a nap, we've been floating around in zero G. Do you know how scarry that is?!" Ah, humans and their abbreviations. It's adorable...and really annoying. 

"That's not scary!Do you want to know what's scary? Almost being injected into space!"

"Well I got attacked by space goo!"

"Enough! I know this can be scary, but yelling won't help us. We have more pressing matters. Where are Allura and Shiro? Have they been attacked yet? I shall search for Shiro with Keith, the rest of you find Allura! That is essential." Keith nods and follows me down the long hallways as we start to run. Well, I'm jogging. Keith's short, so he has to move his legs more.

"Hey umm I've been *huffs* meaning to talk to you about something." I glance at Keith, instantly knowing what he was on about.

"Meet me outside my chambers after dinner." He just nods in response. Just as I suspected, Shiro stood by where Sendak used to be, clutching his head. "Where's Sendak?"

"I-I had to get r-rid of him. He was in my head. H-he can't be trusted."

"It's the ship. The corrupted crystal is acting up!"

"Don't worry Malmur. No one blames you." Beep, Beep, Beep. Oh what now?
