(Author's note: a very, very close friend of mine is responsible for the OC of the Red Bottomed Horse Monkey! I only created the OC for the Long Armed Ape!

It was a bit of a walk towards a rather cool looking monastery in the middle of a peaceful field with cherry trees. Now, the group was just walking on a path.

Garmadon scoffed. "This already gives me the wrong impression of this 'Wise Sage'..."

Wu turned. "Well...I'll just say that he may put your mind at ease, brother."

"And why is that?" Garmadon asked, raising an eyebrow at his younger brother.

Wu...then started to smile fondly. "He reminds me of Father."

Garmadon's eyes widened and then he went silent before sighing, looking up at the sky as he walked beside him. "Funny how even after thousands of years, we still miss him...silly, isn't it? Why continue to feel grief?"

"I wouldn't say this is the grief we are feeling." Wu said. "But rather remembering him. His love for us and his wisdom."

Garmadon smirked. "You take right after him. You were always his favorite."

"Funny. I used to think the same about you." Wu said suddenly. "That was when I realized he didn't have a favorite and never did. I hope you realize the same soon."

Garmadon thought about that for a moment before nodding and following his brother. The rest of the group was behind them.

Pigsy whistled. "This is a pretty cozy place...pretty dang peaceful if I'm being honest."

Cole nodded. "Yeah, I should retire here."

"We're all gonna be retiring here if we don't find out how to stop The Overlord. We'll also be crystallized. Remember?" Lloyd asked.

Cole rubbed the back of his neck. "Right, right. Sorry."

MK then looked at Lloyd. "Hey, no need to be negative! We'll stop him! I promise!"

Lloyd sighed. "I really hope you're right, MK...cause as much as I want to, we don't have time to sit around."

They then entered the monastery, with The Ninja and The Monkie Crew looking around in awe. It was like theirs, but not at the same time. More traditional.

There were large orange pillars likely holding the entire place up, all of them with strange silver symbols engraved in them. The monastery's roof and walls had stories painted on them, and the floor was wooden with carpet on them. The windows were wide open as well, letting in a nice gentle breeze.

And finally, right in the middle of the room and on the floor was a giant symbol. The symbol of the Yin and Yang.

Then, a voice spoke. "Welcome, pupils of Wu Garmadon. Welcome, pupil of Sun Wukong and descendants or reincarnations of his friends."

Everyone looked around before Jay spotted a humanoid monkey walking out. He had very light brown fur, almost a dark caramel color. He had orange shading across his face and was wearing the robes of a monk, with half of his chest and arm exposed while the rest was covered by orange and silver fabric. Finally, he had a kind smile across his face.

Wu bowed. "Master Zhihui. Thank you for allowing them to come here."

"The pleasure is all mine." Zhihui said with a returning bow before he then bowed at the entire group. "Welcome to my home."

Tang then squealed and started running around Zhihui, admiring every little detail. "YOU'RE LITERALLY HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!! HANG ON, I GOTTA SKETCH-"

"TANG, WOULD YOU STOP?!" Pigsy cried as he pulled Tang away and then bowed again. "Sorry about my friend, he's an idiot-"

Zhihui just laughed a wholehearted laugh. "I do not mind. And please. No insults here. A monastery isn't exactly a place for fighting, whether it be with fisticuffs or words."

Lily then walked over. "I-it's nice to meet you...but c-can you help us?"

"There's this evil force called The Crystal King and he wants to take over your realm by stealing you and the other three Spiritual Primates." Zane explained.

Zhihui nodded. "I have been aware of this ever since Wu arrived into this realm. I brought him here. The Overlord is a force of pure evil, so naturally I sensed it. And I do know how to stop him."

Jay smiled wide. "Seriously?!"

Kai laughed and high-fived Skylor. "Well, that's it then! What do we need to do?"

Zhihui then looked at the four ninja and then at Lloyd and then at MK. "You six. Please follow me. Everyone else? My sister will accommodate you."

Nya looked around. "I'm sorry. Sister?"

Zhihui smirked. "Unlike my brothers, I was perfectly aware that there were others like me. The Buddha came to me and told me the location of the Red Bottomed Horse Monkey. I raised her from birth."

Tang looked around. "Where is she then?"

"With her beloved. She will arrive in a moment." Zhihui said.

Then, Pixal hummed. "Master Zhihui, if you were aware of Sun Wukong and Macaque...why didn't you show yourselves to them?"

Zhihui's kind smile faded and he sighed. "Sun Wukong and I...did not meet on very good terms. He hurt my sister's beloved for being a demon and after I was...scolded, I let my anger get the best of me for a moment and after winning our fight, I told Wukong never to come near me or my sister ever again...it's a moment I am not proud of, but continue to live with..."

MK's eyes widened. "Holy moly...so...he knew you existed?"

"He knew me as the Mysterious Stranger. One that he likely left out of the stories. He did not know I was his brother." Zhihui said. "And Jilie, my sister...did not want me to meet him again. She...doesn't like him even now. She was afraid I would not win the second fight between us like the first."

MK's eyes bulged out of his skull. "WAIT, YOU ACTUALLY BEAT-"

"I'm sorry about that." Sandy interrupted. "I'm sure he'd love to meet you now! He's a better person!"

Zhihui smiled. "I do not doubt that. As for Macaque...admittedly, I looked for him. A soul in pain and only wanting revenge...but much like myself, he didn't want to be found. He was always moving from place to place and even with my magic and guides, I could not find him."

Lily's smile faded a little at the mention of Macaque...but then Zhihui set a hand on her shoulder.

"I know what has become of him and Wukong. We will get them back." The Wise Sage promised.

Lily smiled. "Thank you."

Zhihui then looked back at Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, Lloyd, and MK. "But for now? You all will follow me."

They nodded and followed Zhihui out of the room, eagerly awaiting whatever plan he had in mind.

Everyone else waited before Red Son then scratched his chin. "Why did he need MK and no one else...?"

Mei just shrugged. "Who knows? I mean, I'm already pretty dang powerful."

Red Son grinned at her. "Thanks to my help, of course."

Mei blushed and then subtly held his hand. "Y-yeah...couldn't have done it without-"

"Awwww! How adorable!" A voice said, causing Red Son and Mei to yelp, jumping away.

Nya sighed. 'I remember when Jay was like that. He was adorable.' She thought before looking at the owner of the voice and her eyes widened.

And sure enough, there was a monkey with dark brown fur and pink shading across her face. She was wearing some kind of sleeveless gray jumpsuit with brown boots and a long red bandana wrapped around her neck. She looked like an adventurer of some kind.

"Are you Jilie...?" Pixal asked, stepping forward.

Jilie smirked. "The one and only! Here to keep ya company while big bro does some cool monk stuff!"

She then went over to Red Son and Mei, still grinning. "But I can definitely see the chemistry between you two!"

Red Son's face went red while Mei just covered her own, screaming into her hands. Jilie just smirked at them as she stepped backwards to the others.

Skylor grinned at Jilie. "I already like you."

"I like me too." Jilie giggled.

Meanwhile...

The Crystal King sat on the throne at his temple before seeing someone land in front of him. "Vangelis...I trust your mission was successful?" He asked in a booming tone.

Vangelis bowed with an evil grin. "Of course, my lord...Macaque is yours."

Then, a crystalized Macaque shifted over with loud groans. Wukong did the same, staring up at his master in his zombified manner.

The Crystal King grinned wide and then raised his hand. "General F!!! TO ME!!!"

Mr. F front flipped into the room, silent as ever. He then bowed before The Crystal King, awaiting his orders.

"Have you found it...?"

Mr. F nodded.

The Crystal King grinned wide. "Good...very good..."

He then grabbed Macaque and his eyes started glowing pink as he placed his hand on his chest. He reached in and pulled out a shadowy and purple orb.

The Crystal King's eyes shone greedily as he noticed Macaque's black fur suddenly turned white...looks like his shadowy powers were keeping his fur black. No matter.

He then slammed the orb into his own body and his eyes glowed purple. The Crystal King roared into the air as purple and black lightning crackled across his body.

Mr. F and Vangelis watched in awe as they only watched their master grow more and more powerful.

The Crystal King then floated into the air, laughing evilly before his eyes glowed both purple and gold. "Two down...two to go..."

Vangelis then stepped forward. "My Lord...what did you want Mr. F to find anyway?"

The Crystal King grinned wide. "There was once a powerful evil in this world called The Lady Bone Demon...and she had a weapon of ultimate power that I plan to rebuild and use for myself..."
