A big bungalow stands tall in the sunshine society of Mumbai. The bungalow belongs to a well known name in the business world, the businessman Aaryan Kapoor. He is a well known name in the technical world and he runs his own business. His family includes his younger sister, Ruhana, who is now married and is a mother of two kids.

Things seem fine, but the life of the brother- sister duo is not fine. His sister is bedridden, she's sleeping on the bed, multiple devices attached to her body, while he can't help his little sister. The always chirpy home has been silent for two months.

He enters the room and glances at his sister. It's his sister's room which is no less than a hospital ward now. Two months ago, Ruhana met with an accident and slipped into a coma. The young lad is Aaryan Kapoor while the lady on the bed is Ruhana Singhaniya - - Aaryan's younger sister. Though there is only a three years gap between Aaryan and Ruhana, yet, Aaryan treats her like she's a baby to him. Ruhana also respects him equally. His eyes get teary as he glances at his sister, who's comatose, unaware of the world around her.
On one corner of the bed, a girl and a boy are sitting. They look sad and their eyes are stuck on their mother. They are sad because of the fact that their mom doesn't hug them, neither does she cuddle them, nor she talks to them. Aaryan move towards them and they hug him.

"Mama! Mumma kab uthengi? Unko bolo na uthne ke liye." the little boy, who's 4 years old, tugs on his hand.

"Aaru! Mumma jaldi thik ho jayegi." the girl , who's about six years of age says, consoling her brother.

Aaryan sits on the couch and embraces both the kids. The kids are Ruhana's children - - the girl is Anvi and the boy is Aaryav. He loves them like his own kids, after all, he's their mom's brother, he should love them like their mom does. Aaryan doesn't know how to make them understand? They are too small to understand the pain their mother is going through. She's in a coma and they don't know when she will wake up? They need to wait and just wait for her to wake up. Adding to it, the kids' father, Vineet, who's good friends with Aaryan is away in London for some project and he is unaware of the situation. He does not know about Ruhana's current condition.

"Papa kab aayenge?" The innocent question by Aaryav breaks Aaryan's trance.

"Jaise hi unka kaam khatam hoga, wo aa jayenge." Aaryan tells the boy.

Aaryav and Anvi share a look and then they look at Aaryan. He's their only hope. He kisses their heads and takes them out for lunch. He takes them to the dining table and feeds them with his hands. It's lunch time and he spares time for the kids, after all, they belong to him as well.

Meanwhile, his phone rings and he excuses himself asking Anvi and Aaryav to finish the rice. He is relieved to hear the news that the caller has to say and assures the person to coordinate with someone. After a long one month, Aaryan is smiling.. He turns to the kids, who have finished their food. He makes them sleep in their room which is adjacent to Ruhana's room. Meanwhile, there is a ring on the doorbell. The maid opens the door and a young girl with curly hair and a charming smile greets her. She asks for Aaryan while he enters the living room. He asks her to come in and the maid moves into the kitchen.

The young lady looks around the house. It seems that she is impressed by the house decor. The whole house is decorated beautifully and elegantly, must be the work of someone who has good knowledge about interior designing. She smiles at Aaryan and flashes her cute smile.

"Hi, Mr. Aaryan. I am Dr. Aarohi Sehgal. I've been told to keep a check on Mrs. Ruhana. I'll be treating her now. " she says.

"Yes! Ruhana is my sister. She met with an accident and is in a coma. I need someone to help her. She's in a coma though, but I can't leave her alone at home." Aaryan replies worriedly.

"I am sorry about that. Where is she? And what happened with her??" Aarohi asks.

"She met with a horrible accident and she hit her head badly. Some nerve in her brain is hit and after the operation, she has slipped into a coma." aaryan says, and his voice becomes teary.

Aarohi gets teary eyed and she asks him to take her to his sister's room. Aaryan leads her way to Ruhana's room. Aarohi steps in and she's surprised to see Ruhana. She looks at Aaryan and says something that leaves him surprised and touched at the same time.
