Sorry for the late update

"So that's what happened." Reyna finishes the story of how she was attacked and taken to the Underworld.

Nico adds in on the parts about the heroes in Elysium.

"I would offer you to contact our Oracle but she is no longer present." Chiron said, "In the mean while since a quest have been spoken and it has you two in it. I want you to train until I speak with Rachel and Octavian."

"Tonight?" Nico questions pointing at the dark sky.

"Tomorrow you will start with archery at 8 a.m and go on from there." With this he turns back to a man in a wheelchair and wheels out the room.

"Finally some training." Reyna mutters and walks out the big house and the cool air nipping at her bare arms.

Nico groans, "I don't want to."

"Have you've been training recently?" Reyna asks as they reach the cabin.

He stares with a sly grin at her as a skeleton warrior pops out the ground and Reyna with one swift kick takes off it's head.

"That was my sparing partner." Nico huffs and sends both the head and the body under the surface.

Reyna watches as Argentum and Aurum circle around the cabin looking for a threat.

"After you." Nico says and opens the door and Reyna steps through and stops Nico also stops.

"Um."

"Oh." he realizes, "I'll wait outside."

Reyna changes from the traditional roman clothes and into more suitable clothing.

"You can come in now." Reyna says and hears the floor creak with effort.

Her dogs growl outside just as Reyna sees a flash of gold. Her instincts kick in and she brings herself closer to the knife to try to disarm her attacker.

She grabs her attacker by the wrist as a warm droplets of blood drip on her cheek.

If it wasn't hers then who was it?

In her moment of thinking her attacker raises their left foot and kicks her stomach. She's stumbles back and hits the wall as the knife comes she quickly ducks to the left as it embeds itself into the wall.

She grabs her attacker wrist and snaps it with one quick hand movement. What scares her is it doesn't cry out in pain.

She quickly flips who ever it is over her shoulder and places her foot on their chest. Their hood was drawn black to reveal a ver pale face of a demigod.

"Who sent you here!" She screams.

In Latin it chokes out with a dark heavy voice, "They're coming. And you'll all die! "

The demigod slowly turns to dust and a hole opens toward the back of the cabin and swallows up the ashes.

"Nico." Reyna whisper into the darkness.

"He's over here." A female voice says softly that I recognize as Charlie.

She had quickly wrapped a bandage around his lower torso. But Reyna could see a large growing red spot.

"I send Aaron to go get Will but she's taking so long, I'm going to find then both." Charlie said and with determination went running into the night before Reyna could call out to her.

"Are you alright?" Nico asks his eyes still closer.

"A few bruises nothing big." Reyna shrugs and adds, "So much for training tomorrow."

He smiles at her effort to cut through the tension.

"You know I'm getting real tried of getting stabbed. Now it's just getting annoying." He jokes.

"You sound like Percy."

He opens his mouth to say something but a ear shattering scream comes from within the camp. More followed it one after one after one.

"They're in inside the boarders!"

"Who!" Someone shouts in the confusion.

"Rebel Demigods and-." Someone is cut off by an inhuman wail.

"Monsters." Nico whispers and Reyna refocus her attention back to him. "A Chimera got me from behind as that person sneaked in. I was trying to call out for you but it was still attacking me. Aaron came finished him off."

Reyna sees a figure running straight toward them and she grabs a small knife her attacker had.

Nico now drags himself up against a tree, to be able to stand side by side with Reyna to make sure nothing happened to her.

"It's me-" Aaron says before she's rammed by a Minotaur and send flying in the cabin leaving a big hole inside the wall.

"How dare you!" Reyna yells as she stabs at the beast landing deadly blows.

It huffs out a breath you can see in the chilly night and charges.

Reyna embraces herself ready to jump but it makes a sharp turn and it's headed straight for Nico. He can barely stay awake from all the blood he's losing.

Reyna runs yelling his name but she's knows she's not going to make it. She sees a shadow shove Nico out the way taking the taking both of them down.

Then 4 arrows embeds itself inside the monster and with a foul cry it pops into gold ash. A bloodily tip horn of the edge.

Will and a few other kids from the Apollo cabin stand over. Will quickly gives orders to his siblings and they break apart.

Will walks over to Nico not to far off from Reyna to check his wound.

Reyna sees Charlie passed out to not arms length from Nico.

Did she save his life? When I couldn't. She thinks and grips her sword. She couldn't even protect the people who meant the most to her.

"Will please watch after them for me." Reyna states and looks toward the most of the battle.

Will nods but adds, "Take this."

He throws her a sword and she charges into battle. Attacking anything that go to close. After Reyna the gryphon exploded into ashes, Reyna feels a fist collide with her right cheek.

She remains on her feet standing stiff but she can already tell her cheek is raw.

"Missed Me?" Someone cackles.

She meets the eyes and she already feels her blood begin to boil.

"No it's been so long since my sister send your worthless ashes to The Felids of Punishment." Reyna sneers and the pirate smile drops.

He swears, "Where is your sister anyway. I want to kill you, her and your worthless camps."

That stunned her for a second.

So he knows about Camp Jupiter and Camp Half Blood.

She meets his steel sword and power coursing through her veins.

He has the smile wiped off his face he was clearly surprised at how much stronger she has become. He pushes her off with his weight and they're swords return to them. As they circle each other.

"My Lady and Lord have ever so blessed me to bring you back." He pause slightly, "Alive."

"For what purpose?" She raises and eyebrow as she slashes his leg mid thigh.

He grips his leg with his free hand and curses under his breath, "Let's just say I come from higher orders. And I will not fail!"

He lunges but a black blade emerges from his chest and he collapses to his knees.

Nico stands over him and he falls to the ground, he was milky white. He stabs his sword into the ground, leaning heavily upon it.

Reyna screams at Nico, "What are you doing here?!"

Nico scoffs, "You really thing after the last battle I was going to let you out my sights?"

Reyna ignores the warm feeling the blossoms in her chest and mumbles a few things.

"What?" Nico asks.

She turns her back on him, "It's nothing. But thank you."

"They're retreating!" Someone yells.

"I want to know is who is letting them into the boarders." Nico mumbles loudly, "They must really want us dead or maybe something else."

"Whoever it is these attacks are becoming more common and more deadly." Reyna answers.

The campers try to make small repairs to their cabins. Charlie and Aaron were
taken to the infirmary along with a few others.

But there were some deaths mostly from the Hephaestus Cabin. About one from each of the others even Aphrodite.

Will was running around asking everybody have they seen Nyssa. But every shook there head 'no'.

Reyna did notice that there were some campers that were neither injured or dead. They were just missing.

Then it hit her.

Where was Jordan?

"Reyna." Nico snaps her out her thoughts as she hits the same slab if wood from the top bunk and groans. Nico gives a soft chuckle.

"You seem deep in thought." He walks over and sits on the same bunk as her.

"I'm worried about the demigods who are missing. I'm afraid something happened to then." She admits.

"Even if something did, we'll find then Reyna." He lifts her chin so she's looking him into his deep eyes.

She feels herself relax and pulls away.

"I'm tried." She said but it was only half true.

Nico nods and goes to his bunk and gets in without another word. Reyna reaches out but quickly pulls back her hand and rolls over too and tries to search for sleep.
