They tumble down the hill and Reyna lands on top of Nico, all her reflexes haven't return to her yet. She was still slow to react to things she was used to, like avoiding an arrow.

"Your shoulder." She says as she quickly scrambles off of him when she notices she was straddling him.

"It's fine." He says and he reaches into his pocket and drips some nectar on the i slowly closes up, "The arrow only grazed me, whoever they were they have terrible aim."

She helps him up as Derek comes running over.

"Are you alright Reyna?"

"Fine I'm more worried about Nico he was nearly shoot with an arrow." She says and brushes grass off herself.

"I see." Derek says his voice sharp, "He seems quite fine now, I'll be on my way." He stocks off his sword bouncing awkwardly at his side, did he know how to properly tie fasten his weapon?

"Nothing else seriously injured?" Reyna looks at Nico and he nods.

"You should see yourself." He gently picks up her elbow that was scrapped when they fell.

He takes some nectar and rubs it on her elbow and it cease to exist. Just then something in a red blur lands on Nico and he send rolling a few more feet.

A girl around 12 years old brushes her self off and takes grass clumps from her hair.

"Sorry," She says as Nico pulls her up.

A faun and three more demigods walk down the hill the monster at the boarder stop and growl and then turns run away.

Two boys and one more girl not including the one who landed on Nico.

Chiron comes in horse form and the girl with the dark skin and curly brown hair passes out. The boy with the shoulder length blonde hair carries her bride style while Chrion introduced himself.

"I believe I saw 5 bodies." His eyes look around until he sees the girl with red hair and a symbol of a a owl appears over her head. And the campers around her kneel, Reyna follows along with Nico.

The boy with the brown curls whispers something into Chiron ear and he raises, "Lola Winters you have been claimed by Athena goddess of wisdom and military victory."

Another golden symbol appears over the girl that had passed out and she was slowly waking up.

The same boy whispers something to Chiron and he announces, "Charlie Hale daughter of Hermes god of messages and thieves."

You can hear two loud cheers from the back, followed by the unmistakable sound of a high-five.

She smiles weakling and mumbles, "That's right kneel peasants."

After about 15 minutes of hanging around, there were no more demigods being claimed after that and every went back to their day.

The two boys who were twins run up to the boy and take the girl -charlie- from the boy arms. He hands her over some what reluctantly and hands his hands in his pocket.

"The feeling of getting claimed is the a positive feeling." Reyna says walking.

"Not for everyone."

"Shut up." She says and punches his good shoulder, "You're a child of one of the big three."

"And every time some one finds out who my dad is they always keep their distance but who can blame them?" He kicks a small rock.

"Then it's their lost." Reyna said and Nico stares her directly in her eyes and she holds his gaze.

He then walks away scowling in the opposite direction of Reyna.

Was it something she said? She though as she takes a little walk by the sea and takes off her shoes, judging by the climate it must be early spring.

New York was definitely different from California.

"Hi." A girl waves as she sits next to Reyna she was the one who was claimed by Mercury.

"Are you going to steal my wallet?" Reyna asks with a slightly laugh.

She shakes her head and her curls bounce along with her. She reminded Reyna of Hazel except their hair color and eyes. She had eyes that were a rich dark brown and hair that matched.

"Please." She waves her hand,"Conner already stole that."

Reyna hands go to her front pocket and it was no longer there and she groans.

"Do you have any siblings?" She chuckles asks as she digs her hand into the sand.

Reyna feels as if the breath had been knocked out of her, seeing this Charlie quickly apologize.

"I did have one a sister she means the world to be." Reyna stares out at the sea. "Hylla queen of the amazons last time I checked. Our bond was nothing of this world or the next. She is one of the few people that have gained my trust, if she had died I would not know what to do."

Charlie nods her head, "Wow. That was touching. I never had a sibling beside the one in the Hermes cabin as for my mom......it's a tough thing to talk about."

"I can understand." Reyna said as she throws a stone and it skits along the water surface.

"I never got your name." She smiles.

"Reyna."

"That's very pretty."

"Charlie! We're about to prank the Demeter Cabin!" Travis yells.

"I have to see this." She gets up from the sand, "I hope to see you around Reyna."

"Likewise."

She then disappears to be with her siblings even back at Camp Jupiter Reyna had no siblings.

She sees the shadows shift and Nico appears from the shadows. He looked extremely drained. Maybe she wasn't the only one who needed some enjoyment, she quickly thinks of a plan.

"Son of Hades, Ambassador of Pluto!" She yells and he walks to be with her in the beach.

"What is it Daughter of Bellona?" He says and she stands up in front of him.

"As praetor of New Rome the twelfth legion of-"

"I get it." He cuts in with a half smile.

"So get this." She grips his shoulders and pushes him back into the sea. He lands in, his hair and clothes completely soaked and it was the first time in awhile Reyna laughed.

"Reyna once I'm done with you gods help me." He growls and spits up saltwater and on que a huge wave comes and soaks him even more.

Thank you Neptune. She says in her head.

He has finally start to regain balance and that's when Reyna begin to run like her life depended on it which it did.

"Reyna!" He yells and she was already coming up to the mess hall, Nico not to far behind. A few campers stop to watch the chase shouting cheers.

Reyna feels her hair flowing behind her and she was going so fast that she didn't feel her feet brush the ground.

She runs pass the fire in the middle in the middle of camp and Nico runs along slide her but on the opposite side a smirk on his face.

"Run Reyna!" Charlie yells with a smile, "I got your back! Butch a little help bro?"

Butch sighs but a bright spark flies from his finger and it turns Nico shirt a bright yellow while he is stunned Reyna gets the lead.

She sees a large river or stream and she decided to run along side it. She makes the mistake of looking over her shoulder and he wasn't there.

Then she smacks into what she thinks it's a tree until she feels two arms wrap around her. She looks up and Nico is smirking at her.

"You wouldn't dare-" She doesn't finish when she is thrown into the river and rises to the surface.

Nico is laughing truly and Reyna believes it's one of the most beautiful sounds she has ever heard. She swims to the edge and pulls herself out and wrings out her hair.

She laughs herself, "Your shirt."

He looks down at the yellow so bright it hurts Reyna eyes to stare directly at.

"Looks like you made a friend." Nico said as Charlie runs up.

"That was so cool Reyna!" She gushes and then she gives her a high five.

"Thanks Charlie."

"And you." Her gaze turns to Nico , "You were pretty cool out there man. That thing you did with the shadows."

Nico eyes widen to size of dinner plates.

"Bye I'll see you guys later." She waves and runs back to where she came from.

"She reminds me of Hazel." Nico mumbles.

"I saw Hazel in her too."

"I still going to kill you." Nico stands directly in front of her.

"Please I may have been encased in stone for a year and a half, but my skills still surpass yours." She challenges her arms folded over her chest.

"Shut it, stone face." He smirks at her reaction.

"Stone face? You shut it death boy." It was Reyna's turn to smirk.

"Look at you, it looks to me that you can't even take a gryphon." He stuffs his hands in his pockets.

"I can take on a gryphon, with that small dagger make of obsidian." She places her hands on her hips.

"It's a sword and it's make of Stygian Iron." He says turns a slight shade of red, "Obsidian is like your hair and your eyes."

Reyna is left speechless for a second and she regains herself and shakes her head and walks off before Nico can see the blush on her cheeks.

She walks until she runs into another semi familiar face. Derek.

"Whoah there." He still grips her shoulders. "Where are you headed."

"To Cabin 13." Nico voice says Derek releases her shoulders and she takes a step back not in a submissive way but to get a good look at where to attack.

"I asked Chiron he said that she could stay in the Ares cabin." He looks at Reyna his eyes scanning her.

"That is a kind offer but I decline, I prefer the Plu- Hades cabin." She says his voice steady her posture intimating.

"Okay. But the cabin is always open for you Reyna." He says in her ear and she remains unchanged, he walks off and disappears.

Nico swears in Greek and Reyna has her eyebrows knitted.

"What?" He asks.

"I was wondering where you came from."

"I saw you and I knew it wouldn't lead to well so I-" He cuts him self off and rubs the back of his neck and a smile spreads across her face.

"Do you want to spar?" Reyna asks changing the topic.

"Get ready to get beat." He says and he goes into the cabin to get his sword and Reyna follows.

"My sword is it still here?" Reyna asks and Nico nods and reaches under his bunk a dusty sword is there.

He hands it her and her hands fits perfectly around the hilt of it.

"What are you waiting for?" Reyna smirks with one eyebrow cocked and he follows her out the cabin, he takes to lead.

Once they reach there he allows her to go in first, "Ladies first."

"Why thank you." She says sarcastic tone.

The stand circling each other and Reyna breathing starts to speed up like her blood.

"Scared to make the first move Roman?" He says his dark hair pulled away from his hair but still hair remains.

"Not at all." Reyna said and leaps forward at blinding speeds and Nico barely has time to bring the blade up to protect himself.

"Not too bad." He smiles and this time he goes on the offensive.

*few hours later*

"Is that all you got?" Reyna asks as swear drips from her forehead and she swipes it away.

"Me?" Nico says, wobbling to stand up. "I was only getting started."

"How about hand to hand combat?" Reyna tosses her sword to the side and Nico follows, "You appeared to be quite rusty."

He throws the first punch and she brings her arms up to block it. She grabs his wrist and quickly places it behind his back and pauses.

"I could break your elbow right know."

"Oh really?" He pulls his arm back along with a dazed Reyna. He quickly drops down to drop kick her and she lands on her back.

"You win." She mutters and doesn't get back up as Nico leans over her.

He smirks and collapses next to her and the both stare at the ceilings.

"We're going to both be sore for capture the flag tonight." He said and she laughs.

"Yes." Reyna agrees and rest one arm over her stomach and one arm to her side, taking deep breaths.

"So since you are apart of the hades cabin who do you want to be allies with?"

A certain girl with brown eyes pops into mind.

"Hermes cabin." She says without hesitation.

"I wonder why." He says in a duh tone.

"Conner Stroll is pretty attractive." She jokes and sees him freeze. "Of course I want to be allies with them because of Charlie."

Nico silently let's out a small breath and walks out the arena with out another word. Reyna pulls herself up heads back to the Hades cabin, she hopes Nico went somewhere else.

In the middle of sparing Will came in to tell Reyna, Katie has given some fresh clothes and had them sent to the Hades Cabin.

When she walks up the steps the cabin and see Nico shirtless she notes he has a small tattoo at the base of her neck. He turns and she turns her head away.

"I'm sorry I though you were somewhere else and I should have knocked this is your cabin after all." She rant and tries to leave when and hits her head on the door.

Nico slips on a fresh shirt and she rubs a hand over the back of her neck. A bell rings and Nico grabs her hand pulling her into a circle leading her out the cabin, he drops her hand.

"Was that the bell for capture the flag?" Reyna questions.

"Mess hall it's lunch or dinner."

"This a little late for lunch." Reyna said as she looks at the sky beginnings to fade.

"It's been a busy these last few weeks." He admits and when they arrive.

The whole hall was dead quite when they both walked into the room.

She took a seat at the table Nico sat at and she dazed off thinking of Camp Jupiter. When she came too it there was a plate of food in front of her.

"To the gods." Chiron raises his plate a give a portion to a bowl that was on fire.

The campers follow and Reyna whispers in Nico's ear, "What are we doing?"

"Sending burnt offering to our parents." He replies as he separates a portion of his food and buts it in the fire.

Reyna follows and also sends a silent prayer to her mother. They eat for about a half an hour more.

"And know the games!" Chiron cheers and holds up a bow and the hall cheers with him.

Reyna this time took the lead and followed Chiron.

Nico as promised allied with the Hermes Cabin who wanted to as well ally with the Hades cabin.

Nico quickly explained the plan a small group will go to capture the flag while a group would stay behind using the mist from the Hecate cabin.

"Got it?" Nico scans the faces of the group and everyone says 'yes' or nods in agreement. "Then let's do it."

Everyone wears armor not full armor but breastplates and shin guards. Charlie need a little help suiting up in her armor and Conner was more then happy to help her, even ruffing up her hair.

"Begin!" Chiron voice calls and the group of about six of us splits into twos.

"So were going up against the Ares, Athena and Aphrodite." Nico explains quitely.

Reyna let's a small scoff escape her lips, "We are paired up with gods that start with and 'H' and they are paired with gods that start with an 'A'."

"Is that all you got from my speech." He scowls softly.

"No I didn't, Ares is force they will most likely stay on the offensive with maybe one or two left behind. Athena child will most likely be mid point waiting for a victim, they too are great fighter using brains and well a their physical strength. Now Aphrodite children will most likely protect the flag itself, I don't not know what they are able to do but best thing to do is not to under estimate them." Reyna whispers very fast to Nico.

"Impressive." He whispers back.

"You take the right I'll take the left." Reyna begins to go right when Nico grabs her upper arm.

"Are you sure?" He asks she can't see his eyes in the darkness.

"Yes now hurry." He releases her arm and when Reyna looks back he's gone.

She silently walks along the branches making sure to keep her breathing silent as well.

She doesn't see the flag but she hears something she though was a birds until it embedded it self in her side under her ribs, through the kink in her armor. She pushes herself against as tree pulls out the arrow with a small whine.

"You are a tough one Reyna." A amused voice comes into play and she grips the tree branch to help stand up. "It would be my pleasure to break you."

He grabs her torso and yanks it from the branch not breaking it but smearing blood on it. He holds her face in his hand and wraps an arm around her waist.

"I will break you emotional, verbally and." His eyes leave her eyes scan her body, "Physically of course."

Her version blur and she does the best thing she can do at the moment she runs her nails down his face and hear a scream of pain.

"Alright." He growls and pushes into the ground, "Physically is it."

Gods she whispers in her mind and let's a scream rips free from her throat as the last thing she sees it her attacker.

Derek.

She will not die at the hands of an unworthy fighter.
