"What do you mean she's missing?" Reyna asks rising to her feet.

"She wanted to fight in the battle, but she was way to young." Travis starts, "And plus she only got here yesterday."

"When she saw a gap where the door was open in the armory she ran out to join the battle." Conner continues.

"We haven't see her since, and it's killing us." Travis finishes.

"There's no time to waste we have to find her." Reyna says and behind to walk. "Where can she be?"

"We only shown her about half of Camp and we've checked those places." Conner runs his hands through his hair.

"Did you check the woods?" Reyna asked and their eyes go wide.

"Why would she be in there?"

"She can get killed!" Conner said and then fakes sobs, "Who is going to help me play pranks on Travis."

Travis half smiles and then playful shoves Conner.

"Have you told Chiron?" Reyna ask as she's at the edge of the woods.

"Yes but there are lots of camper missing or." Conner chokes out the last part, "Dead."

That sends a cold chill down Reyna's back and she runs into the woods. With the boys yelling after her.

She runs until her legs feel like jelly and she can't can't catch her breath. When she looks at her surrounding she is at a place that's is made of stone and looks like a fist.

Reyna knows yelling for Charlie would be stupid with what lurking in the woods. She leans back against the fist and tried to think of what to do.

Until she hears a soft groan and she quickly looks to see where it came from.

She sees a shape between two trees and it groans again. Reyna rushes over to find Charlie with a slash along her armor and her helmet knocked off. With some blood inside.

"Thank the gods." She flips the girl over on her slide and looks her from head to toe looking for any other wounds.

When Reyna looks at her face a pair of Sky blue eyes stare back at her.

"Who are you?" The girl says and plops herself up against a tree.

"I'm Reyna." Reyna says iron creeping in her voice.

Did she lose her memory? Or is this an imposter?

Her eyes go larger, "Reyna? The praetor of Camp Jupiter?"

Reyna eyes brows knit together she never told Charlie who she was at Camp Jupiter. The girl takes off her breast plate to reveal a purple Camp Jupiter tee shirt.

This isn't Charlie. Reyna thinks and takes a step back her hand over her sword.

"Who are you?"

"Aaron Hale daughter of Mercury." She answers and grabs her arm from across her chest.

"Hale?" Reyna questions.

"Yes. I was on a quest when I was attacked by a hellhound and ended up here. Have you see another girl her she has a pink streak in her hair and brown eyes?"

It seemed all hellhounds attack were campers, Reyna groans mentally, could they go do their actually jobs in the Fields of Punishments.

"No." Reyna shakes her head, "I'm looking for my friend. Are they're any other Romans on the quest with you?"

She has pain in her blue eyes, "He's dead."

Reyna says a farewell in Latin and meets Aaron eyes again.

"I want to help you find your friend." Aaron says and puts back on her armor.

"Likewise now stay close." Reyna instructs and she falls back slightly behind her.

It felt like hours they were searching when it was probably 45 minutes to and hour when Reyna smells something burning.

She holds up her hand to silently tell Aaron to stop. She raises an eyebrow and grabs Reyna wrist and pulls her into the brushes.

Just then heavy footsteps walk where they once stood followed by deep laughing. And dragging something. Reyna can only see a blur of pink hair before they disappear.

'This way' Reyna mouths to Charlie and she nods and they both follow the dragging sound.

It stops and so do they. The burning smell have become more intense and the sound of cracklings wood is present as well.

"I found another one!" A voice calls happily.

"Good." Another one calls, "Put it with the other."

"Of course!" It calls again.

Reyna quickly climbs up a tree to get a better view and once she does she regrets it.

Two cyclops one tending a fire another was tying up a girl by her feet and hanging her upside down next to another girl.

Charlie.

"She looks like me." Aaron says and then the branch the we're leaning on begins to snap.

"Holy-." Aaron said as the branch gives way and Reyna falls into the pot of starting to boil water.

Reyna falls until she hits the bottom of the giant bowl and pushes up. The water is extremely warm and she's gasping for air.

Her hands grips the side and she throws herself out and coughs up water.

"Another one!" The smaller cyclops yells and drags Reyna by her feet and holds her upside down. Water drips all over the dirt.

Reyna grabs her sword and stabs the cyclops in the leg and it drops her, she hands on her back and the air is knocked out of her.

"Die!" It yells and goes to crush Reyna with it's foot she rolls out the way.

Reyna looks and sees Aaron hanging into the branch, she swings to the tree where Charlie and her friend are held.

Reyna has her sword points it toward the cyclops, "Let us go and I promise I won't hurt you."

The other cyclops cackles, "Kill her and her friends too."

So much for negotiations.

"Yeah!" The cyclops in front if her yells and advances toward her, she side steps out the way. It trips and stumbles into the woods.

Reyna runs toward the other cyclops her sword at her side drawn. It has fear in it's eye until Reyna feels her feet give out. Her chins hits the earth, she looks back and sees two large hands around ankles.

"Bad Demigod!" The first cyclops yells slams her against the ground twice. She loses her sword and the second time.

"Reyna!" Someone yells.

The cyclops slams her against the ground once more then throws her toward a tree.

Reyna lands high up the falls until she lands on her stomach and begins to slide off when she hooks her hands to the bark.

"Is that all you got?" She smiles and she taste the blood on her lip.

The leader cyclops growls and yanks her out the tree and holds her by the waist.

"Daughter of War." He breaths his large brown eye on Reyna, "We know who you are."

"A lot of monsters do what makes you an exception," Reyna says the last word
slightly high when he squeezes her tighter.

"Because-"

"Reyna catch!" Someone yells as she sees the glint of her imperial gold sword being thrown to her.

She catches it handle first and stabs the cyclops through the chest. It has a look of surprise then it blow to dust. Reyna rolls and then lands in a fighting stance.

She sees the smaller cyclops taken down by the girl with the pink streak in her hair.

"That was for John." She says and then sees Reyna staring at her and her eyes soften.

"They're was a whole group of them along with the hellhounds." She steps over the ash and approaches Reyna, "They killed my friend his name for John."

She hands Reyna an ambrosia square and Reyna eats it.

"I'm Jordan daughter of Venus."

"I'm-"

The girl smiles, "Everyone knows who you are Reyna."

Reyna chuckles and looks over at Aaron and Charlie walking in a circle studying each other.

"Nice face." Charlie smirks.

"Thanks nice eyes." Aaron smirks back.

"Why thank you."

"I swear I've seen you before." Aaron smirks.

"I don't know maybe in the mirror." Charlie says and they both laugh.

"Twins?" Aaron asks.

"Twins." Charlie confirms and the hug each other.

"Twins." Jordan sighs.

Reyna chuckles and that catches Charlie's attention. She runs and crushes her into a hug. The pain is sharp but Reyna smiles.

"You came to get me?" She asks.

"Yes, Travis and Conner said you were in trouble." Reyna explains as they all begin to walk back to camp.

Aaron and Jordan have to support Reyna half way through the woods, when the pain becomes to great .

Once they come from the woods they're are shones being burned.

Once they see them they're eyes go wide and a few come over to help.

A campers does a double take with Aaron and Charlie, "Are you two-"

"Twins yes just found that out today." The both reply.

"More twins for the Hermes cabin." Someone says flooded by small chuckles.

"How many?" Jordan asks.

"13." A girl replies and explains.

"I lost a brother today." She says sadly.

"So did I." Aaron says and they girl stares at Aaron then Reyna. 

"I think we need to get you to the infirmary." The same camper said and gives a low whistle.

Two camper take Reyna and escort her to the infirmary.

"I was perfectly cable to walk." Reyna said.

"Sure you were you have a broken ankle, mild concussion, 8 broken ribs, 2 crackled and 4 bruised." Will explains. "Most from the battle the cyclops only reopened the wounds."

"Anything else?" Reyna asks.

"And always bruises and cuts." He begins to walk out before he turns, "And Reyna you are restricted to bed all day tomorrow."

Reyna groans and then decided to go to sleep just as the sun dips below the surface.

I decided to do a chapter where Reyna was away from Nico just to mix things up. So we have two new demigods.

Both Roman and can kick some serious butt if the were shadow hunters the would be parabatai.

I hope you all enjoyed the chapter it was fun to write. That part where Reyna was behind thrown like a rag doll by the cyclops made me think of the Hulk and Loki.

Yeah I was trying to capture Reyna more tough side and leader as well. So yeah that pretty much it I'll try to get the next chapters as soon as I can. I've been writing non stop.
