Nico looked down as Reyna head slumped to the ground blood running freely from her mouth. He presses his fingers to the side of her neck and feels a very faint pulse.

He lifts her into his arm and see Bellona standing watching with her still eyes looking at Reyna.

"I need to get her back to Camp it's the only way she can survive." Nico said but feel drained to Shadow Travel.

While he watched Reyna get pulled from the battle he had to fight off a nasty monsters. The back of his shirt was ripped from one of their claws.

"I can not interfere with what the Fates have destined Son of Pluto." The Goddess said in a steel voice but her eyes were sad.

"She's your daughter!" Nico yelled but her didn't care if he was cursed or struck down all he acted about what Reyna living.

Bellona looked taken back, "Watch your tongue boy. Would you like to spend the rest of eternity as a shield? I can't get you to Camp but I can help get you to Camp."

"Anything." Nico said and she outstretched her hand Nico took it.

"My daughter has done this before to you and you will receive power." Bellona said and Nico gasped at how much stronger he felt. It was like tiny fireworks going off in his body.

"Thanks." Nico mumbles but she heard it and added.

"Take care of her or I will come back and curse you boy." She said as Nico was about to shadow jump.

He clings to Reyna close to his body and feels the slight beat of her heart that by the second was getting weaker and weaker. As he emerged who the Shadow Jump he was in the middle of the seven.

They were in the middle of talking when they saw him and their talking stopped as they approach him, "Nico? Is-"

"Just help her she's losing a lot of blood." Nico said, "She going to die if we don't do something."

Jason kneels and gives a quick glance to Nico dark eyes and nods. His arms slowly wrap around Reyna and he takes her, "I'll get her to the infirmary."

Jason then flew with Reyna and Nico saw drops of scarlet fall to the ground like rain and Nico heart tightens. He slowly gets up clenching fist at his side, looking down at the ground.

"Are you hurt?" Piper asked stepping up. She had cuts and a bruise on her light brown skin.

"Not that much." He said quietly but she touched the spot where he held Reyna as she bleed out, "That's Reyna's blood."

"She'll be okay Nico I promise you." Piper said her even changing eyes shifting like the tides.

"Let's go back to the fifth cohort." Percy said, "Everyone is getting healed or cleaning up."

.....

"So you mean a new Giant, one to oppose Bellona." Annabeth said her blonde hair mixed with a fine layer of ash.

"Yeah and I know they're more, the Giant said so. I'm the dream I saw a large army what I saw today was only a fraction of the size. " Nico explains his Stygian iron sword resting on his lap.

"Mount Diablo." Jason said, "That's the Mountain where Piper Leo and I went to save Piper's dad and stop the Giant-"

"Enchiladas!" Leo said brushing off a flame on his shoulder. Calypso sighs deeply covering her face with her hands but she was smiling.

"Yeah. That's what me and Reyna were thinking." Nico said and her name made his tongue num.

"Then it looks like the Battle of Mount Othrys all over again." Jason said as he grabbed his gladius and Frank grabs his bow and arrows and nods to him. Everyone slowly follows out the room except Hazel who stayed a little longer.

"Nico." Her voice was soft and he looks up and she was looking down at him, "What's wrong?"

Nico collapsed crying and wrapped his arms around her legs like a child and everything poured out. The quest. The war. The new Giants. Bianca. And Reyna.

"I just Gods- I feel like such a child. Why can't I hold them in." Nico said as Hazel stroked his hair.

"Your emotions." Hazel said her voice was soothing, "We have them to express Nico. They were never supposed to be caged like bird."

"I-I just don't know how to express them well." Nico said letting go of her legs slowly getting to his feet.

"Aren't you now?" Hazel asked placing her hand under his chin easing his head so he could meet her eyes.

"In a crazy melt down sort of way." Nico says.

She chuckles her gold eyes shinning, "It's a start. So tell me which one is the most locked up?"

Nico tried to looks away from those eyes but fails.

"Oh." Hazel blushes, "Love isn't it?"

Hazel was the only person that could see through him like a ghost.

"I loved people who I knew wouldn't return my affections." Nico said and Percy flashes in his mind.

"And you think Reyna doesn't return your feelings." Hazel said as she lets her hand fall to her side.

Nico stumble backs and scowls, "Reyna? What makes you think I like her."

Hazel gives him a look with a half smile.

"Is it that obvious?" Nico said.

"You went into battle with her. While we were all fighting you had your mind split half battle half Reyna's safety." Hazel said and she spoke as if she was a hundred years old.

Well technically she was 74 years old.

"It's the same with me. I may be fighting but I'm still worried about Frank even if he is a child of Mars."

"I don't know how to tell her." Nico said tugging at his shirt.

"That I can not help you with you will find the right time." Hazel said as something kind rattles outside armor on armor.

They both rush to the door about three hundred demigods and legacies marching. A hawk came down and turned into Frank.

"Are you staying here Hazel? We need someone to watch over Camp." He gives a look to Nico, "Actually both you."

"Yeah two children of the underworld running New Rome." Nico mummers.

"Yes I will be staying wish them luck for me." Hazel said and embraces Frank and they whisper something Nico can't hear. And if it was mushy stuff about coming back safe he didn't want to.

But Reyna's first words when he dropped ink the battle field were 'Come back alive Di Angelo.'

Frank kisses her on the cheek and turns into a hawk flying to the front of the Roman Army. After around twenty minutes they were out of slight. But not a moment later someone was running up to Hazel and Nico.

"We have news about Praetor Reyna." The girl said out of breath, "She's on the unstable side. She lost about two and a half liters of blood which could have been fatal-"

Nico zones out. What if she didn't make it? He would never forgive himself.

"-ave her Unicorn draught and Nectar but little ambrosia for fear she would turn to ash. But she's in a deep sleep not a coma but she's not waking up just sleeping." The girl finishes and Nico feels himself pale.

"Sleeping?" He said and the girl nods.

"But she's stirring she's been calling out for people softly somebody named Nico-" She said pulling her hair back, "That name sounded familiar."

"Where is she?" Hazel asked.

"She's in the infirmary." The girl said but Nico was already slipping into the shadows pulling Hazel with him.

When the shadows cleared he saw Reyna in a bed in a room separate from the other larger room that gelded many other hurt victims from the battle. She was sleeping.

Her dark hair not black, but in the sun it showed very dark brown color. It was sprawled against the white sheets of the bed. Her chest was rising and falling normally which made him relax a little.

Hazel was on the other side grabbing her hand and giving it a slight squeeze, "I am so happy to see you alive again Reyna."

She stirs slightly but still sleeps her face looked more relax. Her left arm was bandaged and her right forearm had a small bandages around the wrist.

Nico took her other hand, "I'm not leaving your side Reyna. We will be united again."

Hazel beamed at her older brother and they pulled up a chair. A few hours passed and Nico have never let go of Reyna's hand stroking his thumb across knuckles.

They head the clatter of metal and Hazel rushes to the window while Nico jerks his head up. He yawned slightly rubbing his eyes with his free hand.

"They're back." Hazel said and dashed out the room shutting the door behind her.

It was a silence as Nico let go of Reyna's hand.

"Reyna." He started, "It's been a few hours and I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss you. It brings me back when you had been turned to stone. You saved me but took the wound yourself nearly killing you."

Nico had go up from the chair and walked to the window light from the late afternoon coming from the window, "You save me I save you. Well you're mostly saving me but that is what we do. And I need you to save me by saving yourself."

Nico looked back and saw she was sitting up smiling him, "Hello Nico Di Angelo. It's my job to save you."

He walks over to her bed and sits down, "I was worried you wouldn't make it."

She used her hand to lift his head like Hazel earlier that day, "I will always come back for you Nico."

She leaned in and pressed her to his and pulled away with a smile.

"It would have regretted not being able to really kiss you if I died and tell my true feelings about you." Reyna said bring her bandaged arm to her neck, "Nico I li-"

Nico closed the distance and pressed his lips to Reyna's lips again. Her words were cut off as he gently pulled her closer. Then pulled away pressing their foreheads together.

"I feel the same way." He said and for the first time in a long time he smiled happiness swirling inside him.

Reyna leaned back on her pillows and stared into his eyes, "What did I mess Di Angelo?"

"You killed the Giant, your mother nearly cursed me, you nearly died, they send the army to go fight the other half of the monster army on Mount Diablo and they just got back." Nico shrugged at her shocked expression, "Not much."

Then the seven walk into the room while Leo was on fire and rolled into the room, "Reyna! You're awake! And alive, last saw you you were well dead."

"Likewise. How are you alive no offense." Reyna said.

Leo gives a look to Piper, "Long story and a long recovery from Piper's attack. I swear she was going to shove her dagger where the light don't shine."

"You are so grateful that Frank and Jason pulled me off of you Leo." Piper said throwing her hair over her shoulder.

"How are you feeling?" Percy asked his hand intertwined with Annabeth.

"Better I guess sure beats being dead." Reyna said and they all chuckled.

"And the battle were their any casualties?" Reyna asked talking her Praetor voice.

"Lots of cuts, broken bones, bruises but no deaths." Frank said and Reyna breaths a breath of relief.

"So this battle was a victory, I think we should hold a feast." Frank continues looking at both Hazel and Reyna, "If that's alright with you Praetors."

"I think a feast will be nice." Reyna and Hazel said in sync.

"So one last question what should the battle be called?" Reyna said, "Because I was thinking the Battle of Mount Diablo."

"Then it's the Battle of Mount Diablo now." Annabeth and Jason said at the same time.

"It's time to make some announcements." Frank said and offers his hand to Hazel which she accepts and they walk out the room.

"We will see you guys at the Feast tonight." Leo said and he too exit the room followed by Percy and Annabeth who waved bye and see you at the feast.

"Tell us Reyna how are you alive." Piper said excited, "Its been a year and a half since we saw you."

Reyna smiled, "Well this idiot found me when my mother freed me."

"Idiot? She was so weak she couldn't stand." Nico said giving Reyna a glare.

And they told them the story about nearly everything up until the point where the came to Camp Jupiter. Reyna didn't mention Bianca and Nico was thankful for that.

"Wow you guys had quite the adventure." Jason said chucking his glasses nearly jumping off his face.

"Yeah, " Reyna says under the folds of her blanket her hand finds his, "I guess we did."

The light from the window was becoming faint and fainter as Jason and Piper retired to her changed into something cleaner and wasn't cover in dust.

"Do you think you can walk?" Nico asked as he decided to get a change of clothes soon.

"Yes." Reyna said and takes the covers off and puts her leg on the side of the bed standing up and takes a wobbly step the another then crashes into Nico.

He rolls his eyes, "I'll send for some clothes." as he helps her back into bed.

"That battle really took it out of me." Reyna said softly.

"Yes it was strange seeing the new Giant but the first part is over." Nico said as he has begun to walk out the room.

"Then why do I feel this is only the beginning?" Reyna whispered to herself as Nico shut the door.

I have news I got my nose pierce! It didn't hurt when the guy pushes it throughout but a little when he bend it backwards. And remember when I said I had the prophecy written by the journal I wrote it in was lost?

This is either the second to last chapter of third to last. But either way we are bring an end to United Again and I'm kinda sad but excited at the same time.

And the part where Leo looks at Piper when Reyna asked how he was alive I got from a headcannon where it was like this

I have this headcannon where Leo returns to Camp and Piper marches up to him and it's takes *large number of people I forget I read it so long ago* too get her off of him.
