Reyna closes her eyes not sleeping but just resting.

"Nico?" Reyna asks.

The only response was a sound of slight snoring escaping him. He has managed to fall asleep and he wasn't thrashing around or paralyzed while sleeping.

Reyna concluded he was sleeping peacefully. But her thoughts were anything but.

She pulls away an decides to walk around Camp Half Blood to clear her mind. She opened the door to exit the cabin as a slightly warm wind sweeps in.

The door makes a small creak as Reyna swings it open. She quickly steals a glance over her shoulder at Nico who is still sleeping quietly.

She exits quietly and walks down the two wooden steps and starts to walk around camp.

As she walks she sees the sun rise higher and higher. Like the whole world was new again. A fresh day.

And hopefully no monster attacks.

Reyna sits with her back against a large pine tree as she starts to feel more and more tried. She folds her arms over her chest and dips her head dozes off.

She feels as if she was only asleep for a few minutes when she feels someone softly shaking her shoulders.

"No Hylla five more minutes." Reyna protests as she feels roots under her side grass ticking her arms.

"It's not Hylla." Reyna hears and opens her eyes and sees Nico.

Reyna still closes her eyes and was in a state half awake half asleep.

"RA-RA." He said and Reyna hears the smirk in his tone as her eyes bolt open.

"No one and I mean no one dare calls me that." Reyna points a finger at him her eyes glowing, "The name is plain annoying."

"It always fun bending rules." He shrugs and stands Reyna follows rubbing her eyes.

"Never. Again." She said looking at him sideways her head slightly inclined toward him.

He pecks her cheek, "Okay."

She was a little stunned and freezes then melts by his affections.

"I came to get you and show you something some Hephaestus campers have been working on." Nico said as she walks along side him.

"What is it?"

"That would ruin the surprise." He said as he stuff his hands into his pockets that swallow his fist.

Reyna rolls her eyes.

"I can tell you that because of the many monster attacks and deaths as well as kidnappings. The campers believe we all need a day off."

"What do they have in mind?" Reyna asked pushing for the answer.

"You praetor skills don't work on me Reyna." He said and gives her a brief look over her shoulder.

"Prator skill?" She repeats, "Is that like a new power?"

"Yep it makes people want to give you answers no matter what the question is." Nico said as the few fluffy white clouds depart revealing a blue sky.

"Interesting." Reyna said as they come to Cabin 9.

Reyna opens the door to see some kids whose faces were stained with oil. They wore orange Camp Half Blood shirts they were some were crowded around a tv.

"Um Nico when demigods use technology we attract monster." Reyna said somewhat unease. She believe that these were older campers who knew the mistake of using technology.

"That's why I brought you here. The Hephaestus kids have made a tv and video game system we can use and not get monsters at our front doors." Nico said walking into the cabin, "And I challenge you to a game."

Reyna looks down at the controllers and a smirk appears on her face, "First I beat you at sparing twice-"

"I believed I bet you." He said.

"No I clearly remember beating you Di Angelo." Reyna said, "And now I can at this to my scroll of things I've beaten you at."

"Oh it's on." He said as he pressed start and campers gathered around.

Reyna even saw Conner and Travis collecting money on who would win and lose.

"You cheated!" Nico said as the score showed Reyna had won by a landslide.

"That's the third time you said that and the third time I've won." Reyna said chuckling, "You should be used to it by now."

"Then one of the Hecate campers messed with the game there's no way you bet me-"

"Three times. Wanna make it four?" Reyna said and Nico growls at her smug look.

"You're on." Nico said as he plops to sofa making Reyna slightly move up from the impact.

And out of the corner of her eyes she sees Conner hand a ten to Travis who had a devious grin, the twins were going to have some money by the end of the day.

"I'm sorry but can I hear one more time who won not once, twice or even three times but seven." Reyna said Nico had his hands in his hair looking away.

"Fine you win." He said with a half smile, "Only because you cheated Ramirez."

"Keep telling yourself that." Reyna said as she opens the door to the cabin and it hit by an unknown force.

Liquid drenched her shirt and she staggers back.

"Did I just get hit with a water ballon?" Reyna asks her eyes still closed her shoulders up and well as her arms. Making a 'T' shape with her body.

"Yes and looks like we are now in the middle of a water ballon war." He said as he melted into the shadows and Reyna ducks as water stains the door.

"The is for Hephaestus!" The campers run out the cabin with machines that look deadly but the ammo is just water balloons.

"For Athena!" Another group calls as the in sync launch there water ballon at the Ares cabin.

Who all have thick shields and are enjoying the war like conduct.

"For Ares!" The cry as they raise there shields and one raises the head of a bore. The bore slightly opened mouth was filled with bright color water balloons.

"Psh! Reyna up here." A voice whispers and she looks into the trees to see the whole Hermes cabin. How?

"Charlie?" Reyna said as they pull her into the trees.

"Yes it's me." She said as she smiles.

"It's a full out war down there." Reyna said as she looks below to see someone took out by a monster size ballon that takes out an addition six people.

"I know right and almost every cabin wants you." Charlie said her eyes following Reyna's.

"Me?"

"Oh yes. Your kick butt praetor skills and training at the other camp. So we had to get you first."

"So you threw the water ballon." Reyna asked raising an eyebrow.

"No." She said her eyes wondering extending the word, clearly a lie.

"This should be fun." Reyna said as someone handed her a satchel with balloons on them.

"Now!" Travis announced, "First we get the Counselors of each oh the cabins and we win the game."

"I got my sights on Will right know." Reyna said as she looks across the fields seeing Will's blonde hair appearing to be a daisy in a field of green, "I can get him from right here."

As Reyna finishes the words she let's the ballon fly and it nails Will right in the head drenching him.

"Nico! If that was you I will come to the Hades cabin and sing every heart warming song I know!" Will shouted his hair covering his eyes.

"It wasn't me!" Nico voice yells from somewhere.

"Sweet." Charlie said and her siblings gives Reyna some low whistles.

"Let's go get the rest." Reyna said as she jumps from the tree perfectly rolling and sprints.

"I can't believe someone got me even though I was in the shadows." Nico complains as he points to an even darker spot on his shirt, taking a seat on the log.

It was late afternoon and everyone had send their burned offering to their parents and taken their food to each outside. Like a giant Picnic.

Reyna said cross legged on the grass her plate balanced perfecting on her legs.

"I believe that was Will." Reyna said and sinks her teeth into food.

"Figures." Nico said and took his belt that held his sword off had it plopped against the wall.

"He does have good aim." Reyna says as she pushes her slightly damp braid over her shoulder, "And I brought you this."

Reyna tossed Nico a pomegranate and he catches it with his left hand.

"How did you-"

"You have many seeds in the cabin." Reyna said, "I noticed a lot of things about you."

"I-I am at a lost for words right now." He said and breaks eye contact with Reyna looking away.

Reyna bites into an apple as the earth begins to shake rapidly. The apple falls out her hand and rolls under a tree that crushes it.

"Watch out!" Reyna said as she pulls a girl from the way of a falling tree.

"Thank y-you." She said shakes up and the ground still does not stop shaking.

Then the earth splits into a huge crack and swallows up even more dirt and trees.

"Reyna and Nico." Chiron calls and appears next to Reyna and Nico as the shaking stops.

I am waking up.

The voice rings through the air and everyone goes pale.

"Gaea." Reyna and Nico said in sync.

"But how? I saw Piper, Jason and Leo go up and stop her! How in the names of the god is she awake!" Reyna shouts as her heart hammers in her chest.

If she is back then her children are back as well which means the Giants are as well.

"No." Reyna whispers and Nico shoot her a look as she hunches over.

"The time to act is now. You must go west and see who and where the new banes lie. Your Quest begins now." Chiron said.

'This is it.' Reyna told herself and looked up at Nico who face was like marble. 'If the time comes. I will be me who dies instead of him.'

What's up?

I'm so sorry it took me awhile to update. I has writers block and I felt stuck but I pushes back the block.

My bad if the chapter sucks. It was fun to write about how a bunch of kids were having a somewhat normal life.

The next chapters will be interesting a lot of stuff will happen. And I can't wait to reveal that chapters to you guys.

And one more thing I saw the story was almost at 6K. 6K?!
