(20XX, Rubicon 3)

(Rak's POV)

Rubicon, my home. It was a planet once occupied by a war between corporations, but that is now of the past. Me and my friend Mike live here.. scavenging for stuff and more. However.. that all changed..

(A statue is seen erected in the center of a town until someone destroys it.)

Suddenly, they arrive.. Union Academy. Managing to encounter our planet, once sealed off by the Fires of Iblis, they soon descended, looking for the Coral. 

(Several people are seen running from various Atlas Soldiers, N.E.R.V. Soldiers, I.S. Pilots and Devil Soldiers, who march forward, killing anyone standing in their way.)

Knowing we couldn't remain here for long.. me and Mike decided to run for it. Heading towards the contaminated city.. we decide to risk our lives.

(No One's POV)

(In the ruins of the city, Mike and Rak are running away from a group of I.S pilots)

Mike: Run! RUN!

(They keep running for their lives, but one of the I.S. Pilots manages to catch Rak.)

Rak: HRRRGHH!!!

(However.. before the I.S pilots could do anything.. a couple of missiles hit their I.S suit, causing them to release Mike. Soon, a secret door opens, with a voice telling the two to enter.)

???: Authorization complete. Please enter.

Mike: What the...

I.S. Pilot: (eyes widen) No...

(Rak takes the opportunity to elbow the I.S. Pilot's chest before rushing to the secret door along with Mike.)

(The two manage to enter before the I.S pilots could do anything more)

Mike: (sighs in relief) We made it.

Rak: Let's see where this will take us.

(Going down the Hallway, the two encounter a very big surprise.. a hangar and two Armored Cores.)

Mike: WHOA! 

Rak: What are those mechs?

(Suddenly, a pre-recorded message plays)

???: Welcome, descendants. From now on.. these shall be your Armored Cores, and new lives..

Mike: Armored Cores?

Rak: What do you mean by descendants?

???: ..My name is Walter, and this message goes to any descendant of Callsign "Raven", and V.IV "Rusty". These Armored Cores were the ones your great descendants once piloted.

Mike: Walter, huh?

Rak: You know our ancestors?

Walter: I worked with them once, and I shall do the same with you two, only that I'm now a A.I.

(The duo still had many questions, but they knew not all of them could be answered at the moment.)

Rak: Who are our ancestors? And what happened to them?

Walter: Your ancestors fortunately died of old age after managing to pay for surgery. They left their ACs behind for their ancestors to continue their jobs, which shall be your jobs too

Mike: I see...

Rak: Well, it's our chance to fight back. This is our lair after all.

Walter: ..Whatever you may wish.

(Soon, the two boys look at their respective ACs: NIGHTFALL and STEEL HAZE.)

Mike: Better watch out, whoever you are...

Rak: We will use our ancestors' Armored Cores... 

Mike/Rak: And DESTROY you!

(Soon.. they climb into their AC's Core, where the cockpit is located. They soon activate the systems in their AC's)

Rak: Alright.. here we go.

(NIGHTFALL's boosters activate as the door outside opens)

(Meanwhile in a spaceship, a group of individuals are seen sitting on their "thrones" as they hear a I.S. Pilot talking.)

I.S. Pilot: (comm) Bad news. They escaped.

???: What do you mean they escaped?

(The voice is revealed to be Sirzechs)

I.S. Pilot: (comm) We heard a voice, and suddenly a secret door opened. That filthy male elbowed my chest and they escaped through that door. We tried to catch him and his friend again, but once they got in, the door closed.

(Then two others figure reveal themselves as Chifuyu Orimura and Gendo Ikari.)

Chifuyu: ..Secret door?

I.S. Pilot: Yes, and now we can't follow them any-

(Suddenly her communication is interrupted.)

(A couple of gunshots are heard.. causing the communication to cancel, shocking all)

Chifuyu: W-What!?

Gendo: Did someone-

(Back to Rubicon, Mike and Rak are seen in their Armored Cores as they shoot all of the I.S. Pilots.)

I.S Pilot: Y-You-

(Using the Pilebunker, Rak pierces the I.S pilot and her suit)

Walter: That should be the last of them.

Mike: I hope so.

Rak: Time to let those invaders know they invaded the wrong planet. This is OUR lair.

Mike: You're right. We'll fight for it.

(They fly away in their AC's. Unbeknownst to them, an Atlas Soldier watched the entire scene and communicates with his general.)

Atlas Soldier: (comms) Ironwood.. I think I see them.

Ironwood: (comms) Did they do what I think they did?

Atlas Soldier: Yes. They killed all of the currently deployed I.S pilots..

Ironwood: (comms) I see.

(Back to the spaceship, Ironwood keeps his communication.)

Ironwood: Try to keep an eye on them. If they manage to find a hiding spot, let me know.

Atlas Soldier: (comms) yes sir!

(Ironwood then begins to ponder.)

Ironwood (thoughts) Hmm.. those mechs they posesss.. they seem more efficient than the I.S suits..

(Chifuyu angrily slams her fist on the desk.)

Chifuyu: Grr... how can those mechs beat my I.S pilots!..

Sirzechs: One thing we know for sure. As long as those mechs are around, our mission will become difficult.

Ironwood: Yes.. however, I think my soldiers found something..

(Ironwood shows photos and scans of other, destroyed ACs)

Ironwood: Those mechs are labeled as Armored Cores.. if we're able to build one and get a pilot.. we can deal with them..

Gendo: Well then, let's get this operation started. 

(A new battle is about to begin.)

(And as that new battle starts, so does a new war..)
