so my cat poster got selected to go to the Indiana state fair! whoop whoop!

Here's a picture of it that I got at the county fair today. I went with Alyssa, the twins, and Alyssa's boy toy.

Had to cover up my last name for privacy purposes.

anywho, my tennis poster got reserve grand champion, my greeting card got reserve champion, my cupcakes got 1st, and my painting got 2nd.

I'm gonna beach about my painting and it's placing for a second.

so, I agree with the placing since it doesn't compare to other fine arts projects that got 1st and above ( except for one, which I'll talk about in a minute ).

but the judge is supposed to put comments on a paper to help me improve. the judge put ZERO comments, therefore giving no reason for why my painting got 2nd.

like, what? and don't even get me started on this one painting that got 1st. the brush strokes were messy and sloppy, and it wasn't very appealing nor creative. It simply said "love" on it with these random sloppy dots and brush strokes all over it.

I was furious. the judge who judges the fine arts needs to get their shit together.
