Jieun

I felt so sad that I couldn't have breakfast with Jungkook. I had call him so many times but he declined. He was probably mad at me and is trying to avoid from meeting me. I know it was my fault that I failed to make time for him. But it didn't mean I deserve this silent treatment.

I cooked his favourite food and suddenly he wasn't even home. I could feel that he didn't want to meet me. I had finish my work at my office and now, I can go back home. But I think it was too early to go home since Jimin wouldn't be there and I know I will get bored when I have nothing to do.

Thinking for something to do to kill some time, a good idea suddenly crossed my mind.

4.05 p.m.

Sound of shoes running against the floor was heard as I walked pass by a dance practice room. I peeked into the room to see if Jimin or Namjoon would be there. But it turned out to be a few students were practicing in the room.

I sighed. Where could I find him?

"Jieun? " A male voice was calling my name. I turned back, then saw a man with a white shirt was smiling at me. "What are you doing here? I thought you'd be busy today? " He asked, remembering me to the lie I told him yesterday.

I gulped while thinking for another lie. "Actually, my boss let me to go home early because— he's in a good mood today. " I chuckled awkwardly. Hope that he didn't notice how nervous I was when I told him the excuse.

Gladly, he nodded his head then inserted his hands into his pockets. "I see. So, are here to meet Namjoon? Or you want to— be a student here? " He joked.

I laughed, "I would like to. But well, I don't have much time to learn dancing even I love it. " I shrugged. "Anyway, I'm here because I want to meet you. I have nothing to do at home so I just want to take a look around your studio. It's so big and I think it's such a big waste if I don't see the whole place. But it's only if you don't mind. " I added.

"Sure, do anything you want. I can lead you to anywhere you want. " He offered to be my tour guide. I looked at him, "Is it fine? You're not busy? " I asked to make sure he was really free. I don't want him to make time for me because he has a lot of works to do since he owns a freaking studio.

He smiled gently at me then patted my head. "It's alright, don't worry. I'll always have time for you. "

"Let's go. I have a lot of things to show you," he gestured then asked me to follow him to wherever he goes.

We walked side by side while my eyes were scanning the whole building. The both of us just stayed quiet while walking through the hallway. None of us knew how to break the silence until Jimin decided to speak up.

"Thank you for the breakfast. It was delicious. " He spoke while rubbing the back of his neck. With the sweet smile on his face, I felt so happy.

"You liked it? " I asked.

"Like? No. I loved it. " He giggled. "Bulgogi. It's my favourite food. I love it more than any other food, " he added which made me look at him.

"Really? " I asked and he nodded. So he has the same interest as Jungkook. But he appreciates me more than Jungkook does. He ate the food I made for him meanwhile Jungkook— I'm not even sure if he eats the food. He's probably didn't notice that the food was there.

I sighed. As we were walking, I stopped my steps when I heard a loud song. It was so good and soothing. "Jieun? Why did you stop? " Jimin asked.

"No. Listen, can you hear this song? Where does it come from? " I asked while trying to find the sound source.

He stopped talking then tried to listen to the sound I was talking about. "Oh, this song. " He spoke. "It's called little swan. " He told me, making me to widen my eyes in excitement.

"Really? You know this song? That's amazing. " I clapped my hands excitedly. The song was so good that it changed my sloopy mood right away.

He nodded. "Yes. Dancers in room 407 is practicing this song. " He added then heaved a sigh. "Namjoon told me that it was my favourite song. Before I involved in the accident. He said that I loved to dance to the song. I'd dance to it almost everyday. " He lowered his head.

"But sadly I couldn't remember those things." He shrugged then looked at me with weak eyes. "I tried to remember it but I couldn't. I— can't. " He sighed, feeling bad that he had to disappoint Namjoon. He knows that he needed to prioritize himself first but at the same time, he wanted to know who he used to be and he wanted to feel, is it that good to be a dancer like he used to?

He was curious. Before he started feeling bad, I held his hand then made him to look at me. Our eyes met and we stared at each other for a few seconds. "It's alright Jimin. I believe that one day, you'll find out who you used to be. " I smiled assuredly.

Getting the positive words from me, he smiled. "Yeah, thank you. " He nodded. "Let's continue our tour. " He giggled softly then we began to walk again.

6.55 p.m.

I spent almost three hours at the studio. Jimin brought me to tour his whole studio and he was excited to answer all my questions. But after a few moment, Namjoon suddenly came and told Jimin that they had something to do so I had to wait for him while walking around the studio.

We promised to go home together because Jimin wanted to bring me to somewhere to have dinner together. We've been eating outside a lot lately. My grandma once told me that it's not good if we eat outside often.

Maybe I shall cook more often next time so that Jimin and I don't have to eat outside anymore. As I was thinking about what to cook tomorrow, I suddenly heard the same song I heard a few hours ago. "Little swan, " I mumbled to myself then tried to find where the sound came from.

After a few minutes of searching, I ended up standing in front of a practice room. "That's not how you should move your legs. " I heard someone said. I put my handbag on the floor then looked into the room through the big mirror. "Your moves aren't sharp enough. " I saw Namjoon was talking to a teen boy.

So he was the one who was incharge to teach the class. "Come on guys, the competition is just around the corner. Stop messing up. " He shook his head. "Let's start again. " His face was straight. I didn't know that Namjoon could be this fierce.

Forgetting that I had to wait for Jimin, I ended up standing outside the dance practice while secretly watching them practicing.

Jimin

I had get all my works done and now, it's time to go dinner with Jieun. Taehyung told me that a restaurant near the lake has tons of delicious food. I'm pretty sure that I should give it a try. I went to the spot where I asked Jieun to wait for me but she was missing. Feeling weird, I mumbled, "Where's she? "

A staff passed by and I stopped him. "Did you see my friend? " I asked him and he stopped walking.

"You mean Ms Jieun? " He asked me back.

"Yeah. " I nodded.

"Oh, I saw her at practice room number 407. She's watching them dancing. " He answered. Watching people dancing? "Can I go now, Mr Park? " He asked me.

I blinked. "Yes, sure. " I nodded then leave at the same time as him.

I made my way to room 407 and spotted Jieun who was enjoying her sight of people dancing. But I can say that she enjoyed the song as well as I could see she moved her torso to follow the steps.

Even I didn't dance anymore, but seeing her enjoying the art of dance somehow gave me a little satisfaction.

"Jieun? " I called her name and stepped closer to her. She turned to me then let out a small gasp.

"Jimin, I forgot that I have to wait for you at the bench. Sorry. " She bowed to apologize. I chuckled at how she reacted.

"It's alright. I know you'd be somewhere in here. " I smiled then looked into the practice room. "You're watching them practicing? " I asked.

Jieun nodded. "Yes. I love the way they dance. It looks so elegant and stunning. " She smiled genuinely. "I can't imagine how amazing it would be if you're the one who's dancing. " She blurted and when she realized what she said, she covered her mouth right away. "Omg, I'm sorry Jimin. I didn't mean it. " She held my wrist.

I know she didn't mean to say that. But I couldn't deny that it somehow affect me. But in order to not look like a oversensitive person, I shrugged all the feelings off my heart and gave her a smile. "It's alright. I know you don't mean it. "

"Let's go for dinner. I'm starving, " I changed the topic and walked away. I heard she heaved a sigh and mumbled something to herself. Then, she followed me from my back.

"So what you want to eat? " Jimin asked after deciding what he wanted to have for dinner. Looking at her confused face, he raised an eyebrow.

"There's so much food here. I can't decide though. " She sighed then closed the menu. "I think I'll have the same meal as you, " she said.

Jimin smiled and nodded. He called the waiter and he took their orders. Jieun just stayed quiet for the whole road to the restaurant and Jimin knew there was something that was bothering her mind. "Actually Jimin, " Jieun spoke up before he could ask her.

"Yes? " Jimin asked softly and leaned closer to the table. "What's wrong? " His voice was low and calming.

Jieun lowered her head, thinking for the way to talk to him and to make him understand. "About the thing I said at the studio— I hope you know what I actually meant. " She avoided eye contact.

Jimin was quite surprised when Jieun was still feeling guilty when he thinks she would just forget it. It was actually not a big deal for Jimin but she takes it seriously. Mostly because it involves feelings of both sides. He giggled softly. "Hey, that's fine. I've forget about it anyway. You don't have to take it too serious. " He told her.

"But it was my fault. I shouldn't say that I want to see you dance. It may make you—"

"No. Jieun. " He stopped her from talking any further. "You shouldn't feel bad. You didn't do anything wrong. Instead, the thing you said made me realized that, maybe I should try to dance back. I was confused whether to find my old self or create a new version of me. But now, I'm certain that I should give it a try. Dancing seems exciting and it gives me peace. Maybe one day I'll start to remember how to dance. " He said.

"An old man once told me, all of us have different desires and needs. But if we don't discover what we want from ourselves and what we stand for, then we'll live passively and remained unfulfilled. " He sighed as he looked down at his hands.

"That's what I'm feeling right now. Unfulfilled. I don't even know what I want and what I stand for. So discovering myself is the only way I have. " He added then looked up at Jieun. "So stop feeling bad because you've done nothing wrong. Okay?" He asked softly.

Glad, she nodded her head. "Okay. "

After they had their dinner, they headed back to their apartment since it was already late. Yawning, Jieun took her first step into the apartment and Jimin turned on the lights.

Noticing that there was a few bottles of wines, Jimin raised his brows then looked at Jieun. "Who bought these? " He asked as he looked at the bottles in front of him. Jieun forgot that she put the wines on the counter. She widened her eyes then looked at Jimin who already had his eyes plastered on her. "Was it you? " He asked.

She sighed. "Yes, it was me. " Her voice trailed off.

"So you drink wine, " Jimin talked to himself.

"No. I actually don't. I don't enjoy drinking. " Jieun denied.

Jimin was confused. "Then why did you buy these? " He held the bottles up. "Three bottles. That's a lot. " He commented.

Jieun sighed, having no choice except telling him the reason. "Actually, " she bit her lips. "I bought that because I was upset with Jungkook. He's mad at me and he's trying to avoid from meeting me. I didn't know what to do so I bought some wines. But before I could even drink it, I suddenly remembered that maybe I can go to your studio and release some stress. "

After she told him the reason of her buying the alcohol, he sighed. "So you argued with Jungkook? " He asked and she nodded.

"I understand that you're feeling upset now. But I want you to know that drinking isn't the solution. It won't make you feel better. " He emphasized. She accepted his advice with open heart.

"I know. I'm sorry, " she fidgeted with her fingertips.

"Since you've spent your money on these wine, then we can't just throw it. So I'll just put it in the cabinet and maybe you can have it any time we hold up a party. " He suggested a great idea. "How you say? " He asked.

Relieved, she smiled widely. "That sounds better. "

"Jungkook, are you sure you don't want to read Jieun's texts? She sent you like 10 messages and 6 miss calls. Are you still going to be sulking? " Taehyung asked while looking at Jungkook's phone. Jungkook didn't even read any of her texts. He stayed away from his phone just because he wanted to avoid her.

Jungkook munched his sandwich then scoffed. "Just let her be. I'm still mad at her."

"I don't care if you guys are arguing or whatsoever but don't come to me and ask for my help when she starts sulking back, " He reminded him.

"I won't, " Jungkook scoffed then continued to eat his sandwich.
