This is Vylad's story if you chose Vylad instead of Laurence or Travis.

I pushed myself up and saw that I fell on Vylad.

   " Oh hey, Vylad. Sorry I didn't mean to bump into you. "

   " It's okay. It didn't hurt that much. "

   " Good. "

I stood up and offered him my hand. He accepted it and I pulled him up and off of the ground. Once he stood up I let go of his hand.

   " Here you have..."

I reached up and combed my hands through his hair. He had gravel all in his hair. His cheeks held a light blush.

   " You had gravel in your hair. "

   " O-Oh thanks. "

   " Not a problem."

After that, it was completely awkward. We haven't really talked since that night he asked me if I was scared.

   " So how have you been?"

   " I've been fine. Just a little cold. "

   " Is it the curse?"

   " Ya, it's already taking effect inside. So I'm basically running out of time. "

   " Well let's hope Lucinda and Zoey can find a cure in that time. "

I nodded agreeing with him. He knew as much as I do that neither one of us wanted me to go.

   " What was it like the first time?"

   " It was fine. "

   " How so?"

   " Well. Back then I knew that I had to do it. You see the cold didn't come from inside but it changed the climate. it snowed and caused a blizzard. One that would last forever till I was frozen. I was trapped inside Aphmau's house with everyone.

   They all tried to keep me warm and convince me that I was okay. I knew I wasn't. At that time Ben was only a little boy. I realized what had to be done so I left her basement and ran up the stairs. Garroth, Laurence, and Aaron tried to stop me, but they weren't good enough. I ran out and accepted death. Like it was an old friend that was looking for me. 

   Everyone ran after me, but I trapped them and kept them warm. I let myself be frozen. Now look at me 16 years later and It's happening all over again. "

   " Wow. That sounds awful. Why did you accept it then, but now your not accepting it?"

   " Cause back then I asked everyone a question and they never gave me the right answer to give me enough thought to not do it. Plus everyone would have starved and died of the cold if I didn't go and do it. That's how bad the snow was. Plus I made Garroth promise me he would take care of Ben. I knew everyone would be alright. "

   " Now/"

   " Now........I have something to live for. My son has grown up and I want to see grandchildren. That and everyone tried hard to bring me back. I have something to live for Vylad. Alta is standing tall and proud cause I rebuilt it from the rubble. I defeated the Demon Warlock for the curse not to be spread and my power to not be misused. No one else can use it except me. Cause I know how to use it."

   " Well, what was the question you asked?"

   " Nosey aren't we?"

   " Yes, I am. So tell me. "

   " Would you rather save one person or sacrifice that person for a million? No one ever seemed to answer the question right until Jeb and Travis brought up an answer where I couldn't talk."

   " That is a hard question."

   " Not really. If it were me I would save a million for the life of one person. "

   " That your opinion though. Everyone has a different opinion Y/n. It's hard for me because if that one person were you then that's what makes it hard. "

   " Oh...I see. "

   " What was Travis and Jeb's answer?"

   " That's a secret. "

   " Oh come on!"

   " Nope. Now if you don't mind I have to get some sleep for a journey tomorrow. "

   " Alright. Well, goodnight then N/n. "

He kissed my forehead and walked away. the nickname he gave me ringing throughout in my head. I started walking towards my house when I saw Laurence leaning against the door.

   " Hey, Laurence. Is there something you need?"

   " Ya, I was wondering if I could come with you tomorrow on your trip?"

   " Sure! Meet me and Garroth by the tree with Lucinda's portal."

He nodded and hugged me night. I walked inside and went to my room and fell into a deep sleep.
