I opened my eyes feeling a bad headache in my head. I sat up and looked around the room. I didn't recognize the room. I looked down at my clothes and they were different

I felt a cloth around my head. I took it off and it was warm.

   ' So someone will come and bring me a cold one soon.'

I got out of bed and stood by the door. I heard footsteps some by the door. They opened the door and as soon as they walked in and shut the door I jumped on them. I turned them around and held their wrists to the floor. I saw an orange tail and ears.

   " Laurence!?"

He smirked at me.

   " Well, pouncy aren't we?"

   " S-Shut up. What did you expect me to do when I wake up in an unfamiliar room in different clothes."

I got off of him and helped him up. Once we stood up I let go of his hand and asked

   " How long was I out?"

   " Most of the day. You missed it though I beat a lot of those shadow souls."

   " Is that the truth?"

   " No.......I actually got knocked out and Aaron helped me get back to my original form. Aphmau healed me."

   " Laurence! I thought you could take care of yourself without me."

   " Well........I mean what would I do without you?"

I rolled my eyes. He laughed a little bit.

   " Hey Y/n we will be leaving in a few hours. We are traveling back to Phoenix Drop. You may want to go talk to Nicole."

   " I'll go do that. Thanks, Laurence."

He nodded and showed me where Nicole was. I saw her talking to a little boy with blue hair.

   " Nicole!"

She looked at me and tears formed in her eyes.

   " Y/n!"

I ran and hugged her and she hugged me back.

   " Nicole! It's been too long."

   " Your the one to talk. You were frozen!"

   " Suprise."

   " I was wondering who I knocked out."

   " Oh, so you're the one who knocked me out?"

   " Y-Ya sorry."

   " It's fine. You've gotten stronger."

   " Thanks. I'm guessing your leaving soon?"

   " Yes, we are."

   " Well, at least I get to see you again and know you're unfrozen. Let's walk to the dock."

I nodded and we walked to the dock together. When we got there Nicole went and said her goodbye's to Aphmau and everyone. I said goodbye and I walked on the boat with everyone. Once we sailed off I talked to Aphmau.

   " Hey, Aph I think I am going to visit Alta. I can meet you guys back in Phoenix Drop?"

   " That's fine Y/n go on ahead."

I nodded and she handed me my stone.

   " Alta. " I said

Then white covered my eyes. When it faded I seen Alta, but it had more people from all around. Mostly travelers and those in need. I walked around. I jumped on the fountain and looked around. There were kids playing in the streets, and people talking and smiling with one another. I looked around and seen a certain brown-headed man. He spotted me and started running towards me. I ran towards him. I hugged him and he hugged me.

   " Ben!"

   " Mom!"

We pulled away and his green eyes sparkled with happiness.

   " Ben it's so good to see you again. I see you've done well with the place."

   " Same to you and yes we have. We improved and fixed everything up and more travelers and lost folks came through the gates. We now are like the original Alta again."

   " Except better."

   " Alright alright. Follow me to my home."

I nodded and walked with him to his house.

( Time Skip )

We ended up at Jeb's old house. Ben cleaned the place up and had new furniture. I told him all about my adventures. How I was almost married and how I saw Nicole again.

   " Mom Thank Laurence when you get back for me."

   " I will. At least I know the buyer is gone."

   " True."

   " So tell me Ben have you found that someone yet?"

He blushed

   " Mom!"

   " What I want to know. I am your mother."

   " Well if you must know I-I do."

   " Who!?"

   " Mom calm down."

   " Okay okay okay. Now tell me."

   " Mary."

   " Mrs. Rosalinda's daughter? Well, I hope you treat her right and she treats you well."

   " Well, I haven't told her yet."

   " Tell her. She'll appreciate knowing. Plus It's better to tell than to not and never know is she likes you back."

   " True."

A guard burst through the door.

   " Lord Ben! We need you at the gate."

   " Okay, I'm coming. Mom?"

   " I'm coming too."

Then we three ran out the door towards the gate.
