 " ...Laurence?"

A small smile appeared on his face.

   " Ya, it's me. "

I looked down and the ice stopped at my midsection and started changing the dress into ice. I looked back up at Laurence to see a frown on his lips and a tear escape his eye.

   " Laurence please don't cry. "

He rubbed his hands up and down my shoulders gently.

   " How can I not cry... "

He leaned his forehead against mine.

    " ...when the person I love is being taken away from me again. "

Love?

   " L-Love?"

   " Yes, I love you Y/n. I always have. When you were frozen my heart was broken. Then when you came back. I couldn't control my heart, but I tried for Garroth's sake. " He whispered.

The ice now continued to travel upwards reaching my arms.

   " I fell in love with you Y/n, but I didn't know if you loved me back. Now it's too late. "

I felt the tears leave my eyes. He was right. It was too late. I closed my eyes and rested my head against Laurence's head.

   " Laurence. I love you too. "

 His warmth left me as he pulled away and held my chin lightly. I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me. He brushed away the tears on my cheeks. Then he leaned in. I couldn't move, but he could. His lips connected with mine in a gentle soft kiss. I kissed back immediately. 

The coldness left me and all I felt was warmth. I tried to move my hands and I found I was able to. I wrapped my hands around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist. We pulled away and hugged each other. I kept my eyes closed the whole time. The last thing I wanted to see was a smile on his face.

When I opened my eyes I found that I wasn't frozen. My legs and dress weren't frozen.

   " L-Laurence?"

He held me tighter. I rubbed his head and he opened his eyes.

   " Look. " I said.

He looked down at the dress and then back up at me.

   " Y-You're not frozen?"

   " No, I'm not. I guess the old rules still apply. "

   " To find True love by a certain time. "

I nodded. He smiled brightly. It reached from ear to ear. He stood up and picked me up spinning me around. A smile on grew on my face. He set me down and he hugged me instantly. I hugged him back.

   "You're not going to die, and... "

He pulled away and looked into my eyes.

   " ...c-can I call you mine?"

I laughed at the question. I thought he knew the answer already. I quickly kissed him and embraced him.

   " What do you think?"

   " YES!"

He picked me up and ran down the hill while carrying me. As we reached the bottom we saw everyone gathered around looking for me.

   " Y/n!" They all shouted.

They ran towards us as Laurence put me down. They all collided together hugging me. When they pulled away. They all looked worried.

   " Guys I have news."

They all leaned in to hear what I had to say.

   " The curse is gone. "

   " How?"

   " The old rules still apply Aphmau. I had to find true love in a certain amount of time. "

Her smile grew.

   " But, I lost my powers in the process. "

Her smile faltered a little bit, but then it came back and she hugged me along with Katlyn.

   " I don't care Y/n. " Aphmau said.

   " You're a great swordsman without the powers Y/n. We are just glad you are back and can stay with us forever. " Katlyn said.

I hugged them back crying into their shoulders.

   " Wait. "

Katlyn pulled away and held my shoulders tightly.

   " Who is your true love!?"

I looked back at Laurence and he looked scared. Katlyn walked over to him and started threatening him. I'm not gonna complain though. After everything, I think he'll be fine. I turned back towards all the guys.

   " Vylad, Garroth, Travis I hope you all can understand. "

   " Don't worry Y/n we do. " Travis said. They all nodded agreeing with him.

I hugged them all one by one. Then Kawaii~Chan ran up behind me and shouted.

   " We should have a party to celebrate! "

Everyone agreed with her. I ran home with Lucinda and Katlyn and they started getting me into dresses.

( Time Skip )

Lucinda and Katlyn walked with me to the party. Katlyn was in a short light blue dress, while Lucinda was in a dark red long dress. The found an emerald green dress and I tried it on. They both said that it was perfect.

So that's what I'm wearing to the party. We three walked towards the beach where we saw a huge campfire. Everyone was gathered around it dancing to some music. Once we were there Vylad asked Lucinda to dance and she let him. I felt arms wrap around my waist. I looked back to see Laurence holding my waist.

   " Nice dress. "

   " Thanks. Katlyn and Lucinda picked it out. "

   " How convenient that green is my favorite color. "

   " It is!"

   " Yup. "

He held onto my waist tighter. I saw Katlyn fuming with anger. She walked towards us, probably to get Laurence away from me, angry. Before she could make it to us Travis grabbed her waist and ran off with her winking at Laurence. Laurence and I walked towards the fire and we danced to every song.

   " You know Ben is going to be super excited to see that I'm alive. "

   " Ya, then he's going to ask how and I'll get another lecture on how I should treat you and that I shouldn't hurt you. "

   " Ya, so get prepared for that. "

   " After Katlyn, I think I already am. "

I laughed a little and then looked at his sky blue eyes. They were soft and affectionate.

   " I'm glad you chose me Y/n. "

   " Me too Laurence. "

Then we closed the wide gap between us and kissed. The kiss was soft. Then we pulled away and hugged each other.

   " You're free from the curse forever, and now I can be with the love of my life. "

I looked up at him.

   " And?"

   " This turned out perfect. "

I giggled and we hugged each other with a smile on both of our faces. We hugged not wanting to let go.
