As the white light faded away I found myself back at the island. I looked up at the sky and it was scattered with stars. I went and sat on the beach. The waves crashed on the shore and stretched as far as they could. The water touched my feet as I sat there in the sand. 

   " Hey, Y/n."

I turned around and saw Vylad.

   " Hey, Vylad. What's going on?"

   " Nothing right now. What about you?"

   " Just thinking. That's all."

   " Mind if I join you?"

   " I don't mind."

He sat beside me and we stare out at the ocean. 

   " So Vylad hows the garden going?"

   " It's fine. The carrots are coming in."

   " That's good. But you need to make sure the rabbits don't get at em."

   " Ya. Those rascals will try."|

I just smiled as we starred out at the ocean.

   " Are you scared?"

   " No. Not really. I know it's coming. There's really nothing to fear. It's going to hurt and it's going to be sad, but there's nothing to fear. I'll either leave and go back to Heaven or stay here. Irene only knows what's going to happen."

   " Ya. I hope we find the cure soon."

   " Me too."

I stood up and wiped the sand off of my dress.

   " I'm going to my room. I'll see you later."

   " Bye Y/n."

I walked back to the house and opened the door. I stepped inside and shut the door behind me. I walked up the stairs and sat on my bed. I took my hat off and just held my head in my hands. Vylad's question still rang in my head.

   ' Are you scared?'

In truth, I wasn't. Also in truth, I was. I was afraid of leaving everyone. The pain didn't matter much to me. It would only hurt for a second and then I would be long gone. At the same time, I wasn't afraid of it. If I did freeze then I would get to see Jeb, mom, dad, and D/n. So it could go either way. I heard a knock on my door. I didn't get up and open the door.

 I just sat there with my arms laying on my legs and my head just staring at the floor. The knock came again, I still did nothing. I heard the door open. The person just stood there at the door. I could see a shadow that formed from the lights on downstairs.

   " Y/n?"

I still didn't look up. I didn't care. At this point, I lost all hope. Zoey and Lucinda aren't going to find the cure in time. What's the point?

   " Y/n...please.....respond."

I didn't listen. I just kept my eyes on the floor. I heard footsteps. They were coming closer to me. They gripped my arms with their strength that showed through their armor. I never saw them, but I did see their armor. They had chainmail armor with a black cross on it with a white background. They lifted my chin up and I could see their golden hair and sky blue eyes. They looked like they did when I last saw them.

   " Y/n. It's me. Garroth."

   " ... "

I didn't say anything. It was probably a hallucination from the loss of food.

   " Your just a hallucination. Go away."

   " No, I'm not. Y/n I'm back."

I looked at their eyes and saw tears forming in their eyes. The tears fell down their cheeks. I pulled my hand up and wiped some of them away.

   " Please. Don't tell me you've already lost hope. Zoey and Lucinda are trying thei-"

   " They won't get it in time."

   " Y/n. They will. I promise. I made a promise that I would get out of the Irene dimension. I'm here. Please recognize me and see that hope isn't gone yet."

I looked at his eyes and a memory came back to me.

( Flashback )

He just stared at me. I cried and hung my head low. I felt sad. I wanted this to be real, but I didn't know if I was dreaming or Irene herself let me see him. I felt his hand hold my chin gently. He pulled my head up and wiped the tears away.

   " I don't know if this is a dream or not, but Y/n I will find a way back to you. Laurence, Aphmau, and everyone. I promise. I will find a way back."

   " Garroth don't make promises that you can't keep."

   " I'm not though....Y/n I promise. I won't break this one."

He moved his hand from my chin to my cheek. He leaned in.

   " I promise."

Was the last thing I heard him say before he closed the little gap between us. The kiss was sweet and gentle. Then I heard a bell ringing and we both pulled away and looked up. My vision became white and the next thing I see is darkness. I heard people talking.

( Flashback Over )

   " Garroth..."

A smile appeared on his face. Tears left my eyes. I jumped off of the bed and hugged him. He hugged me back as he stayed kneeling. He wrapped one arm around me while the other held my head. I cried my heart out. When I calmed down a bit I said...

   " G-Garroth your finally back. I've missed you so much. You don't e-even know what's happening."

   " Aphmau told me on the way here. "

   "I'm so happy your back. I've missed you so so much."

   " I've missed you too Y/n."

I hugged him tighter. Then we pulled away. I sat in front of him while he still stayed kneeling.

   " Garroth the curse i-i-"

   " Aphmau told me on the way here. I know everything that's happened. Y/n you are so strong to do everything you've done. "

I smiled and felt the tears come back. He returned the smile.

   " Now that's the smile that brightens my life."

I jumped and hugged him and we stayed like that for the rest of the time.

(Garroth's P.O.V. )

I pulled away to see her asleep. I set her in her bed and kissed her forehead. I stood up about to leave when I felt something grab my leg. I looked down to see that she was holding my leg. My smile widened and I laid beside her in the bed. She cuddled up to me and I wrapped my arms around her.

   ' I'm back with my angel. Safe and sound in my arms.'
