" Hey!"

Laurence and I both pulled away and looked up at the stairs. Ben was standing there. He had anger in his eyes.

" Don't kiss my mom Laurence. I'm not little I will kick your butt."

" But why????" He whined

" Cause she's my mom!"

" But-"

" No buts. Mom up to bed Laurence go home."

" Fine dad!"

" Just keeping your best interests in mind."

I walked Laurence to the door. I opened the door and stepped outside with him.

" Sorry for Ben. "

" It's fine. I've already kissed you so. Ya."

" Ya, that is true."

Then he wrapped his arms around my waist and brought me closer.

" But! It's been so long since I have."

" L-Laurence..."

Then he kissed me. It didn't last that long, cause the door flung open. Laurence and I pulled away and I saw Ben at the door with a mustache on.

" What did I tell you, Laurence!?'

" Wha.............."

" No questions young lady. Come inside with me right now. You're grounded."

" Dad go back inside."

He did as I said and I turned towards Laurence.

" I'll see you tomorrow. Now you better go before my ' dad ' comes back."

" Ya. I'll see you tomorrow. Hopefully your not in to much trouble."

" Bye Laurence."

He waved and started walking off. I went back inside. I saw Ben sitting on the couch with his mustache still on. He turned towards me. He looked angry, but at the same time, I can see a glint of joy in his eyes.

" Dad, why did you do that?"

" Cause I don't want no man getting close to you. It's my responsibility."

"You're ruining my life dad. My Irene."

" You know what go to your room!"

I was already walking to my room when he said that. So I turned around and looked at him.

" I'm already doing that dad! Man this like what the seventh guy some on."

I started walking back up to my room. He followed me saying he would take away my Alta stone and other random things. I went into m room and locked the door. He laughed and I did too. I heard him go into his room so I went to sleep in my bed and get ready for tomorrow.
