I woke up at noon this time. My sleeping pattern changed again. I stood up and got changed

I walked over to a little tower where Lucinda was staying. I knocked on the door and she opened it.

   " Hey, Lucinda."

   " Hey, Y/n. What's up?"

   " I was wondering if you have anything that could help fix my sleeping pattern?"

   " I think I might. Come on in."

She opened her door wider and stepped aside. I walked inside to see a lot of books opened and booked marked to certain pages. Zoey was in the corner working on a potion. Lucinda walked up a ladder and I followed her. It leads me to a room that was full of potions. Lucinda looked around and then reached and took a potion down from one of the shelves.

   " Here drink a little before bed. You should wake up at 6 in the morning."

   " Thanks, Lucinda."

She nodded. We headed back down the ladder and I walked out. I walked home and set the potion on my bedside table. I walked out and around the growing village. A few things changed since I was in my room. there were now a few more homes, the barn was finished. I sighed and held my stone.

   " Alta," I said.

The white light engulfed me. Then when it disappeared I was in Alta. I walked to my son's house and knocked on his door. He didn't answer. I knocked a second time and still no answer.

   " Are you looking for the lord miss?"

I turned around to see a little girl.

   " Yes, I am. Do you know where he is?"

She nodded and grabbed my hand. I followed her and she leads me to a little cafe. I looked through the window to see him talking to Mary. I smiled at the sight. I looked back at the little girl.

   " Thank you, sweety." 

She nodded and ran off. I decided that It would be best if I left and waited for him. I walked back to his house and went inside. I walked down the stairs and into the little room I stayed in. I sat on the bed and remembered the moments I had with Jeb. I smiled at the thought.

( Flashback )

   " Jeb..."

His smile widened. He got on his knee in front of me. He reached out a hand and tried to hold my cheek, but his hand went through my face. I chuckled along with him.

   " You know. Since you were the one that brought me back with your magic you can hug me. I can't hug you, but you can hug me."

I immediately jumped and hugged him. He was right I was able to hug him. It felt like he was alive. I could feel his hands resting on my back.

   " Jeb I missed you."

   " I know. I saw what happened from Heaven."

I didn't say another word. I just hugged him. He didn't say another word either. We just sat there on our knees hugging each other.

   " I found your surprise."

   " You did? How did you like it?"

   " I loved it jeb. it was the most beautiful thing I ever saw."

   " Heh, not as beautiful as you."

I pulled away and looked him in his ghostly eyes and he did the same.

   " You know I can't stay."

   " What?"

   " Y/n right now I have two options. One is to go back into my body and live for a while. Two is that I go back to Heaven and remain dead here in the real world. I can't live like a ghost forever."

   " What do you plan to do?"

   " I plan to go back to Heaven."

   " What!?"

   " Y/n I lived my life and it's time someone else carries my torch. You will be with your friends and I'll meet you again someday.Okay?"

( Flashback Over )

I heard the door open and Ben came in.

   " Hey, mom. Thinking about him?"

   " Yea. I miss him, but how are you? I saw you with Mary in the cafe."

He grew a blush.

   " It's fine mom. She's my girlfriend if you'd like to know."

   " Great."

He came and sat beside me.

   " Mom, what's wrong? You sound sad and depressed."

   " Ben I have something I want to tell you."

   " Okay."

   " Ben my curse has come back. Only this time we don't know how to stop it and it's going to start from the inside out."

I know I said it like I didn't care, but I didn't. Ben had tears that formed in his eyes. He hugged me and cried into my shoulder.

   " Mom y-you can't go."

   " I know Ben. Lucinda and Zoey are trying their best. My sleeping patterns are already changing though Ben. So I don't know how long I have. "

   " M-Mom...y-you just can't."

   " I don't want to Ben, but like I said Lucinda and Zoey are trying their best."

He nodded.

   " Mom I want you to answer a question."

   " Okay. What is it?"

   " If you are about to you know to pass. When you're about to freeze can you come here to Alta. I know it's a lot to ask, but you have done so much for this place. It feels wrong to not have you here. Especially when you helped Jeb fix Alta. Then after 16 years you come back and bring it from the rubble. "

   " I'll try my best Ben."

   " Promise?"

   " Promise."

I hugged him back and we both cried onto each other.

( Laurence's P.O.V. )

He's gone......

He sacrificed himself to help my brother, my best friend.

Now he's gone and Garroth's back.

I hope he can bring Y/n some joy.
