Days became weeks, weeks became months until one year passed. Jack has been more and more anxious. after all, most people will lose their believes at 16 or 18. he enjoyed all the time he spend with his best friend. 

Though he find something odd. he has seen blue and purple spots on Shin's body, but he couldn't ask Shin about it because then he would know Jack had peeked on him in the shower. most midweek days he would see new marks, though they don't appear in the weekends. Jack went, when Shin was at school, to Santa's library to look up for the bruises. Jack only did know little of the human body. 

the marks were bruises..... 

Jack felt anger and sadness in him. of course he didn't know, because his bruises would be icy blue.

Why did Shin have so many bruises? and why did they keep coming, on different and the same spots? something was off, and Jack knew. it had to do with school. any other time he was by Shins side. it couldn't possibly escape his eye if someone hurt Shin physically. He knew he had to do something.

¨bye Jack, see you after school¨ Shin smiled sweetly. ¨see you soon¨ Jack smiled back and waited until Shin was inside before he went up the roof and floated into the air ventilation and followed Shin quietly. 

why was Shin's back not straight? the glim in his eyes had dissapeared and he looked vulnerable and weak. what he obviously not was with his body.

a low growl escaped Jack's throat when Shin was pushed into the lockers by a group of laughing passing jersey guys. Jack knew he couldn't do anything. Shin hadn't been keeping it a secret for nothing. but still.... why didn't he tell him? they could come to a solution! he could help Shin!

the time on school went by. Jack only getting more and more frustrated, more and more anger piling up inside him. 

until

he had enough

the school bell had just rung. Jack flew through the halls creating an icy cold. feet frozen stiff to the ground. 

no escape of the cold.

When Shin came out of the upper floor bathroom he felt a chill. he looked around wondering why it was breezy. he went towards the entrance only to come across panicking and screaming people whose feet were frozen, the wall and the floor were frozen. some people actually losing their feet because of the cold.

¨Jack!¨ Shin shouted furious. he saw his friend dash around the corner and Shin followed him at full speed, used to the ice of his best friend. ¨Come back here Jack!¨ Shin shouted. Jack flew outside. scared. he had done something awful. just out of anger. he didn't want to show his shamefull side to Shin..... he regretted it.

Jack stopped and turned to shin who was running to him, prepared for whatever he would get. he deserved it. this wasn't a solvation. it was just avenging, not solving anything.

Shin ran to Jack and slapped him across his face. ¨Jack how could you do that! people actually lost their feet! you have ruined their life Jack!¨ Shin screamed.

Jack flinched, Shin's hand was cold, his voice piercing through his heart. ¨Shin, I-¨ ¨What Jack?! this was the exact fucking reason i didn't tell you anything! you would ruin their lifes! this wasn't what i wanted! they may be mean and hurt me, but you got no right to ruin their lifes!¨ Shin screamed.

¨so they can ruin your life without punishment?¨ Jack said with a cold glare. Shin froze up. ¨....¨

¨well Shin? why can they ruin your life?! and i can't ruin theirs in your place?!¨ Jack shouted angry. he didn't want to be angry, but he couldn't help it. his best friend... his crush talks like he is under those mutts.

¨Yes Jack they can...¨ Shin suddenly looked more sad, regretfull than angry. Jack looked at Shin with a look that could kill, ¨they can't¨ Jack growled.

¨Jack. it's my punishment. they have the right to¨ Shin said looking away. he felt shivers from Jacks glare. this was the first he had seen Jack this way. he could feel his rage. he could see it, as the walls, floor and ceiling slowly froze. 

¨Shin they don't have the fucking right!¨ Jack said, not screaming like Shin expected, but cold that send shivers down your spine.

¨Jack, i nearly killed a person they got the right¨

¨.... what?¨

¨Jack, i killed a person¨
