David's POV

So, here I was. Back home, which actually didn't feel like home to me. It felt like an unknown city in my own country.

I moved on carefully, I didn't want anyone to recognize me. And no one even did.

I didn't know where I was going... I was lost. Laura said that this thing which felt like a door to me, would possibly take me behind the presbyters' place.

I didn't stop to ask someone, because I was afraid that someone would recognize me, and then I would be in a huge trouble. I couldn't see anyone here with red eyes like mine. There were blue and orange eyes but not red. That was good right?

It was the same that Laura didn't give me a map of this Kingdom because I got lost in every street. I wasn't running so I could keep my cover. No one should know that I was there. Apart from the people who already did.

Luck for me, I had two people talking about it. They were talking about presbyters' place. I heard them saying exactly where it was and I followed their orders and the place was right in front of me.

Even if they didn't know, I owed them since now.

I heard a scream from inside. Unfortunately I could recognize this voice.

«Emma», I said and ran inside. Her screams continued to be heard. They were torturing her, so I would go there quicker. That's exactly what I did.

I ran into the room that they were keeping her. I I couldn't keep listening to her screams. It was terrifying me. Automatically she stop screaming.

I walked over her, if I'd run maybe Zillia would kill us both.

«Emma... I'm sorry», I apologized.

«David no... Please... Don't», she begged me.

«Emma I can do otherwise. I have to», I cried. She noted negatively... Crying.

«There's always something you can do to change that...», she plead me. She almost convinced me.

«Unfortunately, you're not the one who's going to have to make that choice, Emma», I pushed her back softly and stood in front of her, in a protective position. Zillia smiled softly.

«It's your choice that will allow her to get out alive David not mine... And I'm afraid are you're going to have to choose quickly...», she smiled proud of herself.

«What if I don't come with you?», I asked her.

«Then you will feel a kind of pain worse than Mr Barton did... And way worse...», to threatend me. I looked back at Emma.

«No...», she cried.

«I have to... I promise I'll be fine», I closed my eyes knowning that this was a total lie, because I knew that I couldn't be ok. Not without Emma. Not without Levine. Not without any of them... But it was better for me to devastated, than all of them to die.

«I'll come with you... Just... Give me some minutes to say goodbye...», I begged Zillia.

«Fine. You have ten minutes», she got out of the room. I turned to face Emma's complete face. She was crying.

«Emma don't worry... I'll be fine», I repeated.

«You're right! You'll be fine! But what about the others? What about me? What about Levine? We'll be devastated! What would I do without you?», she asked.

«Until yesterday you didn't really have that thought in your mind!», I reminded her.

«Until yesterday I thought it was another girl. Apparently that's not true», she said. «And you don't know how much I missed you... How much I wanted you back!», she shouted.

«Actually, I do», I told her.

«How?», she asked.

«I kept my eye on you, even if you didn't know that. I was standing in that tree out of your room. I watched you every night...», she interrupted me.

«Apart from yesterday», she wanted to smile but she didn't. She couldn't. All these tears all around her face didn't help a lot. We stared at each other for a while.

«David?», she said.

«What is it?», I smiled at her.

«I want us to be together... Again», she smiled crying. I dried all od her tears.

«I think I'm gonna accept this suggestion», I smiled and we kissed softly. Her lips were trembling and us my tongue reached them, they stopped.

Then the door opened. We stopped.

«I'm gonna come find you!», I promised.

«NO!!!!», she screamed as I left with Zillia from the door and two of her servants took Emma away.

«I wanna make sure that she will go back to the human world safe», I ordered.

«And you will darling. Come with me», she said. I did exactly as she said, Emma hadn't left the wolf universe yet.

We entered in a Weird room full of screens. They had cameras, I should have imagined that!

I could see her passing through the two trees that I passed before.

«Ok, you you saw her now we're moving on. There is something I need to do... And I need you», she made me follow her.

We went back into that weird room that we were with Emma, a couple of minutes ago.

«Bring Alba in», she ordered and then a secret door opened from the middle of nowhere.

A young teenage girl, around the age of 15, entered into the room. She was dark-haired and her skin was so pale she was as white as the snow. Her eyes were... Not a single colour, actually. They were red, blue and black together.

She looked at me.

«You were right dear. He came here faster than I thought. I thought it would take him a week or a month, but you keep surprised me», she said. Her voice sounded angelic but I was sure that it wasn't. It was demonic.

«He's an Alpha. He can come really fast with the right bait», I glared at her. She didn't take her eyes off from Alba. «But the truth is that I got surprised too», she continued. Alba took a look at me.

«So, he's is the great Alpha that I've heard so much about... Who was supposed to let the wolves out of their misery... Just a little disappointed. It would be fun if you'd try», she remained deadpanned while talking.

«Alba, do what you came here to do», Zillia threatened her.

«Or else?», Alba seemed like a girl who always liked to play with fire.

«We had a deal Alba! You did the scream oath! And you know how painful could it be if you didn't do as the deal says», Zillia continued threating her. She suddenly fall down screaming from pain.

«ALRIGHT OKAY I'LL DO IT!», she said and suddenly stopped screaming. She stood up.

«You bitch!», she whispered and fell down screaming again.

«I SAID I'LL DO IT!», she screamed. She stood up again and one of Zillia's servants gave her a knife full of blood. I could recognize the scent.

It was my blood.

«Dela noi oyasi supparo de la commentor. Dela bloode bi nomi komerto. De bloode lin de boldy. De boldy lin de man. Covosashi... covosashi», Alba repeated these words three times. Then I started feeling pain all over my body. I didn't scream or made any other noise. It would make me seem weak.

«Done», she whispered. I grunted as all the pain left my body quickly. Zillia was smiling.

«A deal is a deal. Let me go», Alba looked at Zillia scared. Zillia smiled back to her.

«Oh, I will... Dear Alba, I will set you free... When I'll make sure that this isn't one of your fake scrolls», Zillia announced.

«You can recognize the words! Does it looks fake to you?», Alba asked.

«The truth is that it sounds familiar. Good for you. It's your lucky day. I'm going to let you out of your cage. La Dovara Alba vi viele», Zillia said and Alba disappeared in the darkness.

«What have you done to me?» I asked Zillia angrily.

«Just a small thing to make sure you'll stay by my side», she smiled and pulled the knife into her arm.

«May the wolf forgive us», I didn't really understand that.

Levine's POV

I stayed with Laura for a couple of hours, outside the wolf world. Nobody got out or entered in. I was really scared that something bad happened.

«What if that psycho woman killed them both? Or if she has already killed Emma and she's still waiting for David? What if they're fighting right now and David is losing, obviously?», I was asking her this kind of questions all the time.

«Do you ever shut up?», she asked me.

«Ummm... I'm not sure how this happens...», I apologized.

«No one has ever told you before to shut up?», she asked me.

«Actually all the time... My teachers, my friends... You...», she seemed ready to kill me.

«Look I am pretty worried about David and Emma ok? I grew up with David. He's my best friend. And Emma is... She's one of my besties too. I don't know what I'll do if I lose one of them...», I explained.

«You think your situation is hard? I had to leave her alone because of my wolf stuff! She thought I committed suicide for 3 years... And if I lose her now...», she burst out. She wasn't able to complete her last sentence. I looked down sorry for her.

«Ok let's make a deal... You stop talking cuz I feel literally out of my mind now. And I won't burst out on you again. Or at least I'll try», she said quietly now.

«Sounds fair... but...», she interrupted me.

«Mhm! No more talking», she remind me. I opened my mouth to complete.

«Uh-uh», she stopped me.

«Crap!», I whispered.

«Stop!», she ordered me.

«Shhh... Someone's coming!», I looked behind us.

«From the wolf world you idiot!», I turned around and someone fell up on me and we both fell down.

It was a girl. She seemed scared. We both stood out to face each other.

«Emma?», I recognized her quickly.

«Levine?», She did the shame.

«Emma! Oh my god!», I hugged her and she hugged me back.

«Emma... Where is David?», Laura asked. I looked around and noticed that he was nowhere around. Emma goggled her eyes and she seemed pretty scared.

David's POV

She leaded me to my cage. She locked me there with a bunch of other people who seemed tortured, angry, dangerous and revengeable. I sat down on a bed. I could hear a voice calling out people's names.

«Hey! That's my bed to wait!», a tall girl with black hair and blue eyes told me.

«I'm sorry... I didn't mean to take your place», I apologized.

«Good», she sat next to me.

«I am David. David Rowdnley», I introduced myself.

«I am... I am Lucy Barton», she said.

«You said Barton?», I asked surprised. She could have been related to Mr Barton.

«Yes why are you deaf?», she asked.

«No, but... Do you know a guy whose name is Lawrence Barton?», I asked.

«You know Lawrence?», she turned the question back to me surprised.

«Actually he raised me. But are you guys related?», I asked her.

«Of course we are! Lawrence was my brother!», she said.

«If he raised you... And you're here that means... You are the one», she whispered surprised.

«Why are you whispering?», I asked her.

«Lucida Barton», The voice said.

«My turn. She ya kiddo», she waved to me and walked towards this weird guy. She whispered her something and she walked through a door behind him and disappeared.

I was confused. What was I supposed to do now?

«David Rowdnley», he called out my name. Holly good, what have I done?

I walked towards him without my willing. I actually didn't do anything.

«19», the old man whispered in my ear and I walked through the same door and entered into something like... A prison with rooms apart from cages?

«Which number have you been told?», a young woman's voice sounded from the middle of nowhere.

«19», I replied.

Suddenly, something like a magical cloud teleported me into one of those rooms.

«David?», someone behind me asked. I turned back to face Lucy.

«Lucy?», I asked. She nodded.

«I want you to tell me everything that happened so you came here, with every detail», she told me.

I explained her everything that happened since I found out what I really was. She seemed to understand everything. She closed her eyes.

«What is it?», I begged her to tell me.

«I am going to help you kill my sister. She has so many things, that harmed the wolf kind so bad... She betrayed us. I am not going to let that go. Non wolf is. You are gonna kill her», she announced.

«I can't do that!», I explained.

«David. You are an Alpha. And so you find her and you're ready to face her... You need a good teacher. If you find her I'll teach you how to kill her», she explained and I nodded. It was for the wolf kind and... Actually for all of us.
