Kelli's POV

I wake up to a loud banging, I groan and open my eyes. Im still in the small room they put me in yesterday after Jason left with the kids. All that was in here was a small bed, some chains and a chair in the corner. The one good thing was that there was a window but it is two stories away from the ground.

The banging stopped after a second then the door to the room opened. In stepped the old man that is Letterman, he gives me a smirk because walking over to me.

"Good morning little lady" he says standing above me since I'm still laying in the bed. I sit up, watching his movements very carefully.

"What do you want now?" I ask him. I can't even stand to look at him, after all of the shit he put me and my family through, he is lucky he isn't dead right now.

"I just wanted to have some fun" he says. I groan at the thought of him getting undressed. He sits down in the bed, he reaches for my hand but I quickly pull it away, getting up out of the bed.

"No way in hell I'm letting you do anything to me. All I want to know is why and I here? You have your money and me and yet you have done nothing to me. So why am I here?" I ask him crossing my arms. He sighs and stands up from the bed.

"You will just have to see" he says before walking to the door. He stops and turns back to me. He gives me a wink before walking out. I roll my eyes and walk over to the window, I look around and see that we are in a field but the woods are only a couple hundred feet away. I look down at the ground, it's a long jump, I know if I jump from here there is know why I'm going to run into the forest.

Just then there was a knock on the door. I turn to see a tall young man walk through the door. He is about 6 feet tall and has long brown hair the goes to his shoulders.

"I came to take the you" he says in bored tone.

"Take me where?" I ask him. I know it's a stupid question but I just want to stall as much as possible.

"Just follow me, you'll regret it if you don't" he says walking out the door. The only thing can I think about is Jason or the kids and I don't want anything to happen to them so I quickly follow him out the door.

I follow him down the dark hallway and down the stairs. We both step into the living room where j see that it is empty.

"Go down into the basement" the boy says before walking off into the kitchen. I do as he says and slowly walks down into the basement. The lights are dim but I see about seven men down there all standing around a table with a phone and a computer on it. Just then Letterman walks over from the other side of the room and stands in front of the table.

"To answer your question you are here to do work for me" he says. He smirks and I take this chance to ask him a question.

"Then will I get to do home?" I ask him. He laughs then shrugs his shoulders.

"Maybe. Please take a seat so I can explain everything to you" he says moving over out the way to show a chair. I slowly walk over to it and sit down. All the men turn and look at me but I just focus on Letterman.

"So this is how it's going to work. I have about twenty people that haven't paid me back. I have them all in this house right now, each in a different room. There is one camera in each room, the video to the that room with show up on this computer" he says explaining everything. I shake my head and continue to look at him.

"How does this involve me?" I ask him. He groans and rubs his hands together.

"I wasn't done talking. Now like I was saying, there are twenty people here but I am willing to forgive two of them. Now it's up to you to decide who lives and who dies" he says with a smirk at the end.

"You want me to kill eighteen people?" I ask him with a shocked tone. This man is crazy, I mean I know I have killed many people but that was because they did very bad things, all these people did was ask for help from the wrong person.

"Yes. Im going to bring up to live feeds from the rooms. One person on the left side of the screen and one person on the right side of the screen. You will pick to either save them or kill them, if you choose to kill them then one of my men will shoot them." he says. This guy is so sick.

"Now, if you choose to save someone, we will put them in a different room, alone with all of the other people you saved. Then once all the people you saved is in the room then you will choose who to kill until there is two people left" he says. This guys has to be kidding.

"What if I don't agree to this?" I ask him. He laughs and walk over to the corner of the room. He comes back with a bag, he lays the bag on the table and empties it. Knifes, lighters, whips and other evil looking things fall out of it.

"If you disagree I will use one of these things on you. Each time you say no, I will use something different." He says. I just close my eyes and try to calm myself down. I can't believe this is happening.

"Ok, so let's get started" he says opening the computer. I open my eyes to see an old women with her head in her hands on the left side and a young man, well a boy around 16 on the right side.

"Pick, left or right" he says in my ear. I shake my head no, there is now my I'm killing a kid or an old women.

"Ok then" he says. A reaches of the lighter, flicking it so the flame is bright and high.

"Choose, last chance" he says. I shake my head no again, preparing myself for what's to come. Just then I feel him hold the lighter to my arm, I feel my skin start to burn. I let out a scream of pain, he soon stops and then starts again except on my hand this time.

"Ok, ok I'll choose" I say giving in. He smiles and lifts his thumb from the lighter, making the flame stop.

"Left" I say in shame. I look up at the screen only to see a man walk into the woman's room, he lifts up and gun and shoots her right in the head. The reason why I picked the old lady was because she was way older then the boy, the boy had his whole life ahead of him, unlike her.

"Ok, are you going to save the boy?" He asks me, i nod and look away. He nods and the screen changes to show a mid-age man on the left and a mid-aged women on the right. I sigh and shake my head, this is going to take a long time.

After several hours, cuts, whips, and burns later I had chosen my final two. It was the sixteen year old boy from the beginning and a women around thirty that I have seen before in the store. I saw her with five kids and they were all young so I saved her so her kids will have a mom.

"Ok, now the bonus round" Letterman says clapping his hands together. My head shoots up and I began to shake it.

"No,you said all I had to do was pick two people and that's what I did. Now let me go" I say. He laughs and shakes his head.

"Well I changed my mind, and I never said I would let you go, I said maybe I would." He says with a smirk.

"I have three couples that you can choose from. You will choose to save only one couple and if you do that then you can go. You can choose save all of them which is fine but that means you must stay with me forever" he explains. Well that doesn't seem so hard. If I pick a couple then I get to leave and see my Jason and my babies again.

"Ok" I simply say. He nods and clicks a few buttons before I see three screen pop up. My hands fly to my face and tears come to my eyes. I shake my head, there is no why I can choose any of them.

"Are they here?" I ask him in a shaky voice. Letterman shakes his head, giving me my answer.

I look back at the computer, one screen held my parents, the next was Jason's dad and his wife and the last was Pattie and Dom. There is no way I can choose any of them.

"Choose now" he says in my ear. I wipe my eyes and shake my head.

"I can't" I say in a weak voice. He gives a chuckle and then I hear a gun click, I look over my shoulder to see him bring a gun up, placing it on my head.

"Choose" he says.

"You just said I didn't have to" I say testing him, I know it's stupid but the longer I make him wait the longer I can think of a plan.

"Well I lied damn it so choose now or I'll kill all three of them" he says pushing the gun more into my head. I close my eyes and think about my answer, i then let a breath out and open my eyes.

"I choose..."
