“Do you believe in reincarnations?” she questioned and he froze.
“.... I do now.”

Akashi sat on his chair, sighing heavily, thinking about his work, his upcoming shougi competition and also, Akari Kizuna. He claimed her to be the reincarnated Kina but Kizuna’s reactions yesterday doesn’t seem like it. Even so, he’ll still believe it. Reincarnations doesn’t mean that person will be similar to the previous person, doesn’t mean that it will all go back to square one. It could mean that the person has come back for you but you have to work it our yourself, to get her/him back.
For Akashi, that is his new interpretation of reincarnation. Last time, he believed that reincarnations are just myths and very much impossible. But now, he can feel the similar sensation Kizuna emits so he wanted to trust Kizuna as much as he trusted Kina.
A knock came on the door. He looked up and a girl around his middle twenties, slightly older than Akashi, came in. “What is it, Mizuki?” he asked.
The woman who’s called Mizuki smiled. “You have someone who wishes to meet you.” She informed.
“Bring her in.”
“It’s a ‘he’.” Mizuki corrected and went out of the room. Seconds later, a familiar black-haired guy entered and Akashi smirked.
“Good to see you. What made you come here?” Akashi asked.
Akito scowled. “By force. I wanna work here.”
Akashi chuckled. “I’d be glad to welcome you here, Akito but, is there somene else outside?”
Akito glanced at the door over his shoulder. “I found him in front of your office, staring at the door,” he called out. “Come in. He ain’t a cannibal.”
A guy around his early twenties, probably the same age as Akito and Akashi walked in. Blonde hair, green eyes and fair skin. Tall figure, broad shoulders, the perfect figure for every woman’s desire. He bowed slightly. “I am the one called Sorata Kisaragi.” He said.
Akito and Akashi shared a look. “You two are accepted to work here,” Akashi announced then turned to Akito. “I have something to talk to you,” he glanced at Kisaragi. “.... Privately.”
Kisaragi nodded his head and waited outside. Akashi stared at Akito who’s taking a seat on the couch. “You visited Seikina lately?” Akito spoke.
“I always do, you know that,” he answered calmly, his face serene as he rested his elbow on the table and rested his chin on his palm. “Do you believe in reincarnation, Akito?”
Akito choked on his saliva and smiled slightly. “Seikina asked you that, no?”
Akashi looked away, Akito sighed. “No I do not believe in reincarnation. But Seikina is an exception. Say, you met the reincarnated Seikina already?” he asked.
“I’m not sure myself.” Akashi answered.
Akito stood and went in front of him. “What’s gone wrong with you? Where’s your ‘I know the entirety of the future’ and stuffs? Akashi Seijuurou, the absolute redhead is not sure of what he saw, he met?”
Akashi messed his own hair and went through the paperworks. “You are dismissed. Ask Mizuki where to put you and Kisaragi. Go now.”
Akito frowned. “Don’t forget yourself, Akashi.” He said and went out.
