The manor was tall and made of a pale beige brick, the window frames painted a greyish white. "Are you sure this place isn't inhabited?" Samuel asks looking at Jarrod,"I'm sure Sam," Jarrod replies opening the dark wooded door. The floor was made of a marble, and there was a staircase that spiralled to a second floor, there was also a small lounge area over on the right. "It looks pretty deserted to me," Jarrod adds stepping in the middle of the room.Maxie walks over to the left and sees a set of drawers under a cracked mirror, "Guys you need to see this," she says looking on the ground."What is it?" Samuel asks, then he looks on the ground and sees a dried-up pool of blood under where a balcony is, the railing sprinkled in blood as well."Who died?" Jarrod questions looking into the mirror his image fractured and broken."Someone who fell," Samuel says pointing back at the railing."Why did they fall? And why is there blood?" Maxie questions looking at the balcony."I sure don't want to know," Samuel says looking back to the other two,"Neither," Jarrod adds. Maxie looks at the set of drawers and sees a cane, black with a fake diamond on the top,"Hey wasn't this the mayor's," she says pointing to it."Yeah," Jarrod replies,"Was it him who died?" Samuel questions,"Beats me," Maxie sighs."Come on let's look at the balcony," Jarrod walks over to the staircase as the others follow behind. There was another dried-up pool of blood staining the carpet at the door."Two people died," Samuel shudders,"Or just one. There are bloodstains on the railing remember," Jarrod says pointing back at the white railing."Maybe so but... What about the mirror, it's broken but not in pieces on the ground or anything," Maxie states."Since when did we become detectives?!" Jarrod yells, the sound resonating around the building. "Uh oh," Samuel says looking at the mirror, it has a strange effect on it and the cane was missing. "We have to get out of here!" Jarrod yells running down the staircase, Samuel and Maxie follow suit. They reach the door only to find it locked, they try to break it down using their combined weight, it wouldn't budge."Come on! There has to be a back way out!" Jarrod exclaims dragging Samuel with him, leaving Maxie alone at the front door. She just stood there staring at the door handle, it was crushed and laying on the floor, she picks it up to feel that it's warm. 'Somebody else is in here,' she thinks to herself. She tries to stick the handle back into the hole in the door, but a grey hand with a red and blue aura grabs her hand and holds it behind her. "That won't work~" a deep echoed voice says, Maxie's hairs stand on end, her suspicions were right. Maxie is slowly brought backwards by the person, she walked with them keeping her gaze to the door. She feels cold metalic handcuffs get put on her hands, she get's shoved onto one of the couches. Jarrod and Samuel were out cold on the floor, they were tied together by electrical wires.
