Roy opened the door to his bathroom, he really had to pee! When he stepped inside though he stopped, Surrounded by dozens of band-aids, sat a crying Edward. The blonde looked up when the door opened, tears streaming down his face.
        ‘Edward?! What’re you doing?” Roy was slightly annoyed at the waste of band-aids the boy had stuck over his chest, right where his heart was located.
        ‘H-heart hurt..” he sobbed. Roy sighed.
        “Band-aids aren’t going to make it better if your heart hurts.” The told the blonde, “I’ll get you some heartburn medicine.” He started to leave expecting Ed to follow him.
        “Not fire..” He said quietly and Roy turned, confused, “Hurt like pull,” He gestured as if he were pulling something apart, “Pull hurt.” He said again. Roy knew that feeling. A broken heart, “When see Rachel and you, heart pull hurt.” It broke his heart to see him and Rachel together?
        “Why is that?” Roy asked, curious.
        “Feel alone. Roy? Why I feel so alone and heart pull when see Rachel and you…?” He looked up at Roy with watery eyes, “How I make it stop? Band-aid don’t work.” Roy understood now. He felt alone, Roy never spent time with him. But he always acted so happy… Why now? Roy kneeled down next to the boy.
        “So you feel alone?” Ed’s single dangling earring that marked him as a low-light shimmered as he nodded his head, “Do you want a friend,” He could arrange for maybe Hughes to let Elicia and Hughes’ low-light, come over so Ed wouldn’t feel so alone, but Edward shook his head, once again, confusing Roy, “No?”
        “Love.” Ed answered, “Want hug and kiss and date like Rachel.” he explained, “But not allowed right?” He wanted love from Roy, intimate love, but he also understood that, that those kinds of relationships were looked down on in society, as Roy was a high-life and Ed was a low-light.
“Oh Ed..” He hugged the little blonde close.
        “Hurts…” The little blonde murmured against Roy’s shoulder, “But I okay.”
