She gave several more grunts and sighs before she gave a nod. He delivered them to the outside of the warehouse they were using to contain level four security inmates.

"There is a force field up that I would rather not breech so we will have to walk from here."

"Where are we?" His Queen looked around.

"Rehabilitation station four. It is located on the outskirts of the city but still within the barrier."

"This is where you contain all the troublemakers?"

"The ones deemed problematic but non dangerous. The Ratkilgons are at station one. Heavily guarded."

They had to walk through several checkpoints, and everyone working bowed their heads as they passed.

"And this so-called friend? His name isn't Todd, is it? I could use some of his kind of trouble."

Kellum did not return her grin, and he had to look away from the sight of hers. "He has failed all our tests, and everything indicates he could not live among us peacefully. Human. He claims he was not a prisoner on board the Ratkilgon ship for very long."

A blue light emerged from a door and scanned him, then Jessalynn, before opening. "He has failed all the tests, but his personality does not seem to match his test scores. If you are friends with him and deem him undangerous then____."

"He's dangerous."

The Queen stated with heat. They had just walked into a glassed observing room and Hayden sat in the next room with the human in question. From here they could see the boy's face but were unable to hear what was being said.

"He's name is Dom. Why is she in there with him?"

"She helps."

"Oh, I'm sure she does."

"She helps with any who are deemed an unwise choice but not a danger. Her gift. She is able to get them to talk and see the truth as they speak to her."

"How handy for her. You want to help him, go ahead, but I wouldn't leave her in there with him. He might not look dangerous, but he is. He tried to rape me twice. We aren't friends and if you're smart, you wouldn't let his smooth personality fool you. If that's all___."

Kell caught her arm to keep her from walking away. "He hurt you?"

"Tried to. Though he did punch me once. Hurt like a bitch."

She must have felt what he was feeling, because when he let go of her, she reached for him. "Look, you don't have to drop him off in the swamps or anything, but we don't need him around here, either. He might not be a danger to you, but to someone like Ray of Sunshine, he is. There's no telling how many people he's hurt outside the gate. That's how it is out there now. Everyone has their own laws."

"Dezrick, explain rape to me."

"Dez, you can do that when I'm gone."

The boy noticed Jessalynn and smiled. His appearance charming. He seemed to think it would please Jessalynn to see him.

Jessalynn flipped him off.

The boy laughed and blew a kiss.

"Jessalynn, you may leave. I will handle the situation. Dezrick, inform Hayden that I wish to speak with her."

Jessalynn seemed unsure if she should listen to him. "You should know he traveled with a pack of asses. All of them even worse than him. Dez, point me to the nearest exit."

"Yes, my Queen."

It was a good thing he ignored his urge to glance at his mate once more. The boy caught Hayden's arm when she tried to walk from the room. He was saying something, but his words went unheard.

"Dezrick, let down the inner shields."

It would be an unfair fight. Hayden disappeared from the boy's grasp, and Kell appeared in front of him.

The human was not that much shorter, but he was not nearly as wide.

His eyes widen at seeing Kellum in front of him.

"You will not be asked to join our new society. You are also no longer welcome to our rehabilitation facility. Dezrick, have him sent to level two and on the next shipment to the state of Hawaii."

"Yes, my King."

"King? And what gives you the right to come here and think you're the king of anything? I want to speak to Jess."

"My Queen will get nowhere near you. If I hear her name upon your lips once again, then I will punch you, as you did her. It is hard for me to understand a race that hits women and would hurt them. Would you like to explain it to me?"

"I want a lawyer."

"We no longer have need for lawyers. As much as I would like for you to stop breathing, you will be sent away instead."

"Hawaii, isn't really a punishment, babe."

He cut his eyes to his Queen. She was standing on the other side of the glass with Hayden. Apparently, she had asked Dezrick for the sound. "Where would you like them sent?"

Smiling, she looked at the boy. "It doesn't suck to be Queen sometimes. Dez, find some deserted islands. Some cold ones would be nice. Dom, I'm guessing you weren't a boy scout. Don't worry, you'll have plenty friends to stay warm with."

"Jess__."

He'd been warned.

Kellum did not even feel guilty as he watch the human drop to the floor unconscious. He felt a flash of pride. Excitement and... Kellum looked at Jess.

She ducked her head. "Enough of this shit. Dez, take down all the shields and put them back up when I'm gone."
