Setting: Going to make this chapter start at the end of season 1, and weave it in just before Operation Swordbreaker to at least give some sort of context.

Wellston High School

Third Person POV:

(A/N: Warning, UnOrdinary dialogue ahead. Not mine. Uru-Chan's)

Evie: -Thanks for letting me burrow your notes! They were really helpful.

Evie gives back a noteback to Seraphina (Sera)

Sera: Yeah, no problem.

Evie: You have to teach me how you keep everything organized-

Holden runs towards Sera and Remi.

Holden: Seraphina! There you are! I've been looking all over for you...

Sera: Holden?

Holden: Quick, I need you to come with me! Remi and Joker are fighting in the East courtyard right now!

Sera: What does that have to do with me?

Holden: Honestly, I don't know. But Arlo really wanted you to see it! I've never seen him so panicked before.

Sera: Arlo again? Why is he so persistent about this?

Holden: Seraphina, please! It'll only take a bit of your time!

Sera: ........

Arlo (Sera's thoughts): John is joker.

John (Sera's thought's): Just ignore everything he says. Don't let him get to you.

Sera: One of them is lying. And I want to get to the bottom of this!

A few moments later, courtyard outside of Wellston High School

Remi: -Arlo! Are you okay?

Arlo: I'm fine. It's just a crack. What about you? I told you to stay down!

Remi: I can keep going!

John/Joker: ... (panting) Arlo, you backstabbing piece of sh*t! I'm going to rip you to shreds!

Remi and Arlo look back at John.

Arlo: What abilities does he have?

Remi: Zeke, Blyke, Isen, mine...and yours probably as well.

Arlo: Just f*cking great!

Remi: It's okay! He's already down one arm!

John then hones his ability and shoots a ball of light their direction.

Remi: ...!

Specifically targeting Arlo, the ball went towards him. Arlo then pulls up a barrier between him and the ball, while Remi dashes towards John and puts her hand on John's shoulder.

Remi: It connected! He can't use Arlo's barrier!

John: ........

John then turned his left arm towards Remi, having the light ball swings towards her direction instead.

Arlo: ........So four abilities is his limit? Or maybe he can't handle as many high skill levels?

Ad John's attack nears Remi, she pulls up a barrier, with the attack hitting it.

Remi: Either way........we have a chance now!

Hallways, upstairs, Wellston High School

Holden was leading Sera and Evie through the hallways to a window showing the fight.

Holden: -He already took down Blyke and Isen. Not sure how the situation is now.

Sera: ....

Holden then pauses for a moment.

Holden: Huh? Where did Arlo go? He was here a minute ago!

Sera then proceeds to peek through the window where everyone is looking down at.

Sera: .......!!

Sera was then shocked at the posture Joker was having.

Sera: That posture...

She soon realizes that it may be John.

Random student #1: KICK HIS A*S! GO REMI AND ARLO! SHOW JOKER WHO'S BOSS!

Sera: "Joker"...

Back to John, Remi, and Arlo

Remi prepares her lightning ability by concentrating it into a single orb of energy to use against John.

Remi: TAKE THIS!

Remi sends a lighting attack at John, who sidesteps, but then is caught by Arlo's barrier.

Arlo: You're not going anywhere!

John then shutters.

John: AUGH!

He kneels on one knee for a few moments.

John: No way in hell am Iosing to you motherf*ckers!

Remi and Arlo continue their attacks.

John: I'll blow a hole right through this damn barrier!

He then charges up his attack (the light ball/beam).

Remi: ........How's he still able to stay focused enough to charge up a beam?! Even with this much voltage, he still won't go down?! (turns to Arlo) Arlo, take your barrier down before he shoots it! This isn't working!

A/N: Oh just wait until Misfit 1-3 finds out what happens. Oh boy will that be fun! >:))

Arlo: We don't have enough power to break through his defenses...yet he can damage my barrier. We've been outclassed.

A/N and John: Yeah, no dip.

John finishes up readying his attack and sends the light beam Remi's way. she then proceeds to dash away, but John is in close pursuit.

Arlo: REMI!

Remi then stops and turns around to see the light beam going towards her as she activates her barrier.

Remi: The barrier isn't going to hold! If I time things right...I'll have one more attempt at his mask.

The light beam then cracks her barrier.

Remi: Here goes nothing!

Remi then jumps and attempts to grab John's mask, but John is swats her left arm away and proceeds to kick her and finish her off. As soon as John is done, he lands on the ground, with Remi being unconscious. John almost manages to step on her head, but Arlo slams him away.

Arlo: AREN'T YOU DONE YET?

John is then pushed to the ground.

Arlo: YOUR SCORE IS WITH ME! YOU HAD NO REASON TO BEAT HER TO THIS EXTENT! WHAT THE HELL DID SHE EVER DO TO YOU?!

Arlo tries to punch John, but John grabs his arm and narrowly gets it away from his face as he is charging up another light beam.

Arlo: Ugh...!

Arlo then sees the light beam in John's right hand.

Arlo: ....!?

The light beam then heads towards Arlo, and sends him flying. Arlo then manages to land on the ground, but John retaliates by kicking him in the face and then grabbing it, and slamming him to the ground.

Just outside the courtyard

Blackburn's POV:

Well, I guess the fight is over. I know, it's cruel for our "Lead" to do that, but he has to keep up the evil facade so that he can focus on his real mission. Hunting down the PLR bit by bit.

Me: Well, I should get ready to head towards him now.

I then pull my M9 out just in case.

Back with Holden, Sera, Evie and others

Third Person POV

Sera collapses onto her knees after witnessing what just happened.

Evie and Holden: .....?!!

Holden: Hey, you okay?

Sera then keeps thinking.

Sera: That's John. Their builds are identical. And the moves he's used, I've seen them all. Because he taught them to me. So, after all this time...he isn't powerless. What else has he kept from me?

A/N: Uh...the whole PLR thing?

John: Shhh....not yet.

Sera: What was real, and what wasn't? Was everything a lie?

Evie then pats Sera on the back while Holden is still contemplating of what just happened.

Holden: A-Arlo lost...!

Evie: H-huh?

Holden: Joker crushed him. N-not only that...but he single-handedly took down all the Royals.

Evie: .......

Holden: There's no easy way to say this...but Arlo has officially been dethroned. All his people were defeated. So a new king is elected in his place.

Everyone around was murmuring.

Students #1: Holy sh*t! Did you see what he did?

Students #2: He took down Remi and Arlo with one hand.

Student #3: I-I don't know if I'm cool with Joker.

Holden: -Joker, the new King of Wellston.

Back to John

John: No more royals. No more hierarchy.

It was then that a M9 was pointed at him, by a certain Misfit 1-3 Staff Sergeant.

Blackburn: Hoàn Kiếm...

John then instantly recognized the voice, as this was the password of John and Blackburn, personally, since they know Vietnamese themselves. But he wanted to be sure to him as well.

John: Long Biên...

Blackburn then stopped pointing his M9 at John.

John: So it's you...Black?

Blackburn: Yep.

John then wondered if he would take off the mask.

John: Eh. F*ck it.

John then took off the mask. At the window where everyone was watching the fight, gasps could be heard.

Blackburn (giving John his M45A1): Your pistol.

John (taking it): Thanks.

John deactivates his ability then looked at the window and glared at some people, but was more shocked to find Sera looking at him with a similar glare.

Back with Sera

Sera: So there is more to what he's hiding. Not only is he the Joker, but he's someone else as well? I've got to question him later, no scratch that, he brought this upon himself.

Back to John and Blackburn

Blackburn: So I guess your only friend found out about your secret identity then?

John: Yeah. But it was bound to happen anyways.

Blackburn: And you look like sh*t. Blood everywhere on your face and your body.

John: Yeah, can't do much about that.

Blackburn and John paused for a moment before John broke the silence.

John: So...what is the reason your here? Is it because of the-

Blackburn: Yes.

John (yelling for a bit): GODAMMIT PLR! AGAIN!

He slammed his fist on the ground before turning his face back to Blackburn.

John: Where are they?

Blackburn (sighs): Intel suggests that some PLR insurgents have crossed the border from Iran to Iraq. Right now, our target and objective is in a region in Iraqi Kurdistan, in the town of Al-Sulaymaniyah.

John: But why? (he thinks for a moment and crosses his arms) Wait...

Blackburn: Hm?

John: Didn't we install a Shia Government after Saddam Hussein was ousted out of office?

Blackburn: Yep.

John: Wait a second. If you link Iran and Iraq together, which have Shia Governments, then the PLR is crossing the border to try to start a Jihad against the Kurds and, us in particular?

Blackburn: Although not the reason, sounds about right. Way to go for the "Prodigy of the Marine Corps".

John: Aw shut it. (John lightly punches Blackburn)

Blackburn and John chuckle for a bit.

John: Anyways. In all seriousness, give me 4 hours and I'll be at base. You get Misfit 1-3 ready so that we can ship off to Iraq and deal with these PLR bastards.

Blackburn: Right. Oh and I forget to tell you something.

John: What?

Blackburn: Your gear and M4 is in your dorm. Do whatever you need before the mission, sir.

John: Alright. Got it.

Blackburn: That's is all. (He salutes John) May I be dismissed?

John (salutes): You may. Dismissed!

As Blackburn heads out of the school, John can't help but wonder if he had done the right thing?

John: Am I a bad person because I've done this? Am I like the monster at my old school? Is fighting the PLR worth something to fight for? Is it all...just a lie?

As John headed for his dorm, he questioned himself along the way.

Back to Sera

Needless to say, everyone including Sera was in shock, as they heard everything.

Sera: How did John know that man? Who is he working for? What was that discussion all about? And...just...who...are...the...PLR?

Sera then stood back up and and stood still with Holden and Evie.

Holden: What was that all about? Iraq and Iran sure, but what about the PLR?

Evie: The PLR...do you guys have any idea who they might be?

Sera and Holden shook their heads no.

Sera: And who is John working for? Is he a soldier?

Holden: It could be. Not very sure though. He could be a merc for all I know.

Sera: Whatever the case, he's our new king now. And we might be dealing with someone dangerous here. My former friend....

Holden and Evie both pat Sera on the back in understanding.

Sera: John. You have a lot to explain about yourself.
