She refused to meet everyone. She didn't want all to see her like that and feel pity on her.

She had already seen compassion and hurt in her husband's eye which she could not fetch. She herself looked so forlorn.

Sister Martha tried to persuade her but all in vain. She was in such a hysterical state which was uncontrollable so Sister Martha sedated her.

When she was concious, she saw a package lying near her bed. She was feeling despondent but that package with a red bow and large smiley sticker caught her attention.

She picked up the package and checked, from whom it was given but it had no name slip, no tag.

She was becoming more baffled as well as anxious. There was only one way to calm down her peculiar state and that was........

............to open the package and find out what it is?

She untied the bow, tore the wrapper and opened the box eagerly. She found something that she had never expected......with a letter that said...

It doesn't matter to me how you look Shimmer because you have the most beautiful and pure heart that no one has. I love you more than words can say.............but I know how much you loved it. She saw the gift that Shaun had given. A smile crept her face and tears rolled down her cheeks. Her heart was filled with lots of sentiments. She knew how much she and Shaun loved it....so she decided to wear it and meet him.

Sister Martha informed Shaun that Shimmer wants to see him. Shaun was overwhelmed to hear that. She had refused to meet him days ago and he respected her feelings. He didn't want to hurt and offend her. So he waited patiently.

He swiftly went towards the door and opened it. He finally saw her after five long days, which felt like an eternity.

There she was sitting on the hospital bed, wearing Shaun's gift.

A wig.......

She was a Cancer patient....fighting for her life. Because of chemotherapy....... Lost the most precious thing that she adored.....her hair.
