This incident that I am sharing is true and unique in its own way because I never thought that to seek answes to some questions, I would actually be able to change someone's opinion.

A fortnight back a guy followed me and as accustomed, I followed back. He started PM me, complimenting my Dp's and updates and as my habitual and curtsy gesture, responded with a thank you.

For a few days, he was nice but then one day he asked me a very cheap question. Though it was not a new thing for me on wattpad but still it offend me everytime and I start doubting myself.

Such undesirable comments really hurt and make you feel so cheap and filthy. I was so annoyed that I muted him (like I did to others).

And this chapter was over.

This week, I got another follow from a guy who tried to flirt on Pm .....

I was so pissed and really wanted to know, why they do it and what contentment do they get from it.

I didn't mute this one and chatted with him, trying to convince him that its not right to flirt or pass undesirable comments, without concent of a girl. Through his chat, I got to know that few of men on this app, feel that if a girl is active on Wattpad late night and respond to a guy's text, is considered cheap and ready for filthy chat.

I told him, that being a married women and a mother, how I feel when someone like him say such things. It feels that I am losing my dignity. I tried in every possible way to make him understand a girl's perspective and tackle him emotionally.

I felt as if he was reluctant during this chat and feeling guilty.

I told him that a girl and boy can have a pious relationship too and moreover if he's too eager to have kinky chats, there are some other sites for this kind of stuff. Wattpad is a reading and writing app for amateur authors and not a dating app.

That was when he told me that he want to confess something. The information that he shared was like an explosion for me.

He  felt sorry first and then told me that he was the same guy whom I muted a few days before. I was taken aback to hear that and it made me speechless.

I couldn't interpret what to say so I asked why he did this. And ....
He shared the truth.

In his case, it was his friends who inspired him to do so. They told him all the shitty things that they say and do on wattpad. Under their influence, he created his wattpad account and did ....what he did. Though he said that he never felt at ease in doing so .... and even I felt the same during little conversation (chat) that we had.

He heartily felt sorry and requested to forgive him. He even asked me if we could become genuine friends but .....

....... I refused. I told him that I am unfollowing him and asked him never to text again.

I knew he told me the truth but ....what he did was unacceptable for me. I could be anything rather than his friend.

My dignity, my values, my beliefs, my emotions and above all my feelings are more important to me than anything.

@anonymous (fake name), you should be glad that I'm not reporting your chat to wattpad and I hope you would respect a girl follower's feelings rather than forcing your chats on them.
