*Sonic's POV*
I had woken up to a message from Rouge. She was having fun now knowing Shadow was under the effects of a potion, and she wanted to test out how it worked. She told me to text Shadow during the day to see how he would act.

So I did.

Me: Good morning, Shadz.

I was kind of expecting Shadow to act like his usual self since it was through text. But I was proven wrong.

Shadow: Good morning.

Me: Are you at work?

Shadow: Yes.

Me: You don't want to come over?

It took Shadow a bit for him to answer this. I felt evil for doing this, but I was also having fun. The kiss he gave me the day before really had me questioning everything. And knowing that, it was more than enough to make me realize that I did, in fact, have feelings for Shadow. Something I would have never imagined.

Shadow: I can go over when I get out. Take you something to eat.

Me: A date?

Shadow: Isn't that what you wanted?

I blushed lightly and shook my head. I couldn't do this to him. This wasn't right.

Me: Shadz, how aware are you of what's going on?

Shadow: Without you around, my mind isn't acting on urge to be around you.
Shadow: But I also don't want to kill you.

Me: You kissed me twice yesterday.

Shadow: Now I want to kill you.

Me: Do you love me?

Shadow: I was forced to.

Me: I will fix this.

Shadow: You better

Me: I will

Shadow: I need you away from me

Me: I know.

Shadow: But I want to be near you.

Me: It's better if I stop answering you.

Shadow: Don't.
Shadow: Chaos. Don't.

Me: I never thought I'd see the day where Shadow the Hedgehog would be head over heels for me.

Shadow: You did this to me.

Me: I was just joking.

Shadow: I am going to kill her.

Me: Who?

Shadow: Rose.

Me: Don't. She is trying to make things right

Shadow: She tried to make you fall for her.
Shadow: She knew you didn't like her and still tried to make you fall for her.
Shadow: You don't belong to her for her to do that to you.

Me: I don't belong to her. I don't belong to anyone.
Me: You're right. She was wrong on doing that, but she's trying to do better.

Shadow: I want you to be mine.

I hugged my pillow and covered my head with a blanket. I've never felt this way before. It was strange.

It was wrong...

Me: No, you don't. 

Shadow: It's the potion.

Me: Yes.
Me: You're going to kill me after we fix this, aren't you?

Shadow left me on read after that.

"Shadow?" I opened the door and let Shadow walk inside my house. I looked outside, then closed the door and turned to face him. He didn't waste a second and pinned me to a wall, then kissed me.

I pinned my ears down, my face suddenly burning with heat and my eyes wide opened not expecting him to do this. I slowly closed my eyes and kissed his back, my arms to my sides unsure on what to do. Shadow cupped my face and deepened the kiss, I could feel how desperate he was to have this, so I let him. I let him kiss me. He slowly pulled away after a bit, his eyes staring right into mine. I panted softly and instantly looked away.

"W-What are you doing here?" I cleared my throat and rubbed my face, but Shadow used his finger to guide my chin so I could look back up at him. He looked like he was trying to memorize my expression.

"You're cute, Sonic." My face got redder, and I pushed him away.

"Okay! I uh- Tails was calling me to go over to his place. He needs my help with one of his new projects so I have to go. Lock the place before you go, will yah?" I scratched the back of my neck as I reached for the door handle, hoping he wouldnt catch my lie. I never thought I would ever feel trapped in my own home.

"I brought you food." Shadow chuckled at me. "Your favorite. And some snacks. I have to go back to work, I just needed to see you."

"Oh." I lowered my hand and looked at him a bit surprised. "You didn't have to." I took a step closer to the table where he had placed a bag full of snacks and my food.

"I wanted to." He said softly.

"Thank you." I gave him a small smile.

Is this how soft Shadow could be if he were to break down his walls? Is this who he truly was at his core?

"I have to go." He walked to the door, past me. "See you tomorrow."

"I uh... yeah. See you tomorrow, Shadz." I waved at him and watched as he left.

I plopped myself down in the chair and held my head as I suddenly got a headache.

Even if I now knew how I felt towards Shadow, he would never feel the same way. Especially after this mistake happened. It was best if I kept my feelings hidden and fix this as fast as possible.

Tomorrow. This will all be over tomorrow.
