       " Madam! Madam nakaGayak na po sila Mandong sa kabilang isla? ".  Naalimpungatan ako sa ingay ni Manang Eugene ng bumungad sa Sala. Dun na kasi kami nakatulog. Di na namin alam kung anu oras natapos sa paguusap sila Arcy at Mrs Howard. Gulat na gulat din sila Niall sa lakas ng bibig ni Aling Eugene.

Teka anu na nga ulit sabi nila?  Kabilang Isla?

         "Nakausap niyo na yung matandang nakakita sa knila?" Tanong ni Mrs. Howard kay manang Eugene.
 
        "Opo, sumama narin sila kina Mandong sana nga talaga dun napadpad mga bata." Nag-aalalang sabi ni Manang Eugene. Nagkatinginan kaming magpipinsan. Maliban sa apat na halatang litong lito sa paguusap nila Mrs. Howard na tumango tango sa sinasabi ni Manang Eugene. Paminsan minsan ay napapalingon siya sa amin. Kung nung nakaraang disappointment ang nakikita namin sa kanila. Sa mga oras na ito ay puno rin siya ng pag-aalala.

          "Magandang umaga Mrs. Howard." Bati ni sister Menchu na kapapasok lamang. Agad din namang tinugunan ni Mrs. Howard . May dala-dala itong colored envelop at sobre.

          "May dumating pong telegrama galing sa--

         "Sa opisina na tayo magusap." Agad na putol ni Mrs. Howard sa sanang sasabihin ni Sister menchu. Lumingon lang siya sa amin sandali saka na niya kami tinalikuran at tumungo na sa kniyang opisina. Napapaisip ako sa kung anu ang telegramang dumating at tila ayaw ipaalam iyon ni Mrs. Howard.

Galing kaya iyon sa aming Grandma? Di kaya nagpadala ng mensahe si Mrs. Howard at sagot iyon sa kniya? Sa St. Mary din kaya?

Haaay anu ba Khate, baka tungkol sa ibang bagay ang telegrama na yun. Kalma.

        "Huy, ang lalim naman ng iniisip mo." Napaigtad ako sa malalim na pagiisip ng bigla akong kalabitin ni Janel. Napailing ako.

        "Wala may naalala lang ako." Sabi ko.

        "Forgive me, But can anyone explain what they are conversing about?"  Liam iyon na tumabi ng upo kay Louis na medyo inaantok pa. Naglingunan kami. Para bang nagtuturuan kung sino ang sasagot sa tanong ni Liam.

        "Anyone?" Tanong ulit niya

        "They might be on the other island." Sagot ni Janel.
    
        "W-What? Who? I-I mean how?"

        "According to Manang Eugene, there has been a sighting of them on the boat, suggesting they could be on the neighboring island." Si Denise na ang sumagot. Huminga kami ng malalim.

          "Sana andun sila. Sana nga nasa ayos din sila." Napahawak pa si Jill sa cap niya saka napapikit.

          "Just hope it's not your friend to blame." Nakataas ang isang kilay ni Janel na nakatingin sa kanila.

          "Harry is not what you think he is."Sinabi ni Liam. Naguumirap na naman si Janel.

          "And, for clarification, he is the one who attempted to stop the prank." Napalingon si Janel sa kaniya. Bahagyang nan-laki mata niya with guilt slowly draws her face and tries to restrain it.

          "It's my fault. This is all my idea." Nagsisising sabi ni Louis.

        "Right now, it's pointless to worry. All we can do is pray for their safety."Si Arcy yun na bigla nalang nagAppear mula sa likod namin. Tumango tango naman si Denise at Jill. Bahagya akong napalingon kay Niall. Pasimple lang siya ngumit sa akin. Tumango lang ako at tipid na ngumiti. Maya maya ay biglang dumating si Arcy galing sa opisina ni Mrs Howard.
Umupo ito sa tabi ni Liam at nakadekwatro pa.

          "Wala narin mababago, everything already happened." Sabi niya saka sumandal sa katabing upuan.
    
          "So, how are you all?" Tanong niya. Huminga kming malalim at ako ang napailing.

         "Don't worry ate is not mad anymore, she's just more worried  right now."

        "Not worrying doesn't fit this situation. We are really in big trouble." The yellowed-haired hair guy Niall, muttered.

       "Guys, cheer up!."

   
         "You still can't say Ars, khit ate mo yun even you can get punished."

         "Oh common you all, I know my ate very well strikto yun pero malambot din puso niya."

          "I don't know ars, Di narin namin alam kung anu dapat isipin." Si  Jill iyon. Nakatalumbaba narin at halatang aburido.

           "Guys, be positive kaysa isipin niyo ng isipin ang bagay na yan mas maiging ipagdasal nalang natin na sana ay nasa mabuti yung dalawa." Sabi ni ars, litong lito parin yung apat sa sinsabi ni Arcy.

            "Well anyway guys. Balita ko may dadag-dag sa grupo niyo ah." Sabi ni Arcy na siyang ikinagulat namin. Abala siyang nagnanail pile.

            "W-Wait what??" Tanong ni Janel.

            "Anong sabi mo?" Ako na may kunot nuong nakarehistro sa mukha.

            "Ang sabi ko balita ko may dadag-dag sa grupo niyo dito galing St. Mary."

   Lalong nagsilakihan mga mata namin sa sinabi ni Arcy. Oh no sino naman kaya yun? Gulat na gulat kaming nagkalingunang magpipinsan.

Harry

I slowly opened my eyes, and then a sudden ache lingered in my head. My vision remains hazy, gradually sharpening as it settles on the person before me. With confusion, I managed to rise, supporting myself with both elbows on the ground. Hastily, I reach for my head, still throbbing with pain.

Suddenly, a vivid memory of the preceding event that resulted in my current predicament came to mind.

"Aahhhh..." I cried in pain.

"D-Don't move." By the tone of her voice, it was clear that she was worried. 

Is she worrying now?

Certainly, she is obliged to rectify the situation stemming from her actions towards me. As I gently touch the area of my head experiencing discomfort, I detect something lodged there.

"W-what I-is this?" I questioned with both confusion and pain.

"I-a.... I-I put some l-leaves to lessen the bump ." She answered. She's sitting beside me with I guess
one-meter space between us.

"Ow, okay," I muttered as I sat up straight and took a deep breath.

Then it was like all of a sudden. Like a flash of lightning. That Silence filled the place. I can't even hear the surroundings. It felt so awkward. The insane part is when the only thing I can hear is her deep breath. Hesitation started to run into me but I still managed to glance up to her. She's looking down the ground. And from what I scrutinized she is in her deep thoughts.

     I quickly withdraw from looking at her before she can even see me doing that.

     "I'm sorry." She blurted out.

And for that moment I almost cough out. My eyes widen in surprise.

      "Did she say that? I mean did she mean that?"

 "I want to make it clear that I never intend to cause harm to anyone. However, when a man puts his wrist around my waist, it can make me feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. I value my personal space and boundaries, and it is important to me that they are respected. I hope that you can understand my position and appreciate the need for mutual respect. It is not a matter of being 'used to it,' but rather a matter of feeling safe and secure." She spoke with conviction, her concern for her safety and boundaries evident in her tone. And I was like full of shock at what she said. I mean I know that she is the kind of woman that won't let anyone get her pants. But now after saying that. She is more than that.

        "I want to apologize t-too." I stopped. While exhaling out the heavy air on my chest.

        "I was super worried last night, didn't know what to do. You were burning up with a fever, and I kept blaming myself for what happened to you," I told her. It's like, if it wasn't for me, she would have been chillin' in her room, taking care of herself and getting some rest. But nope, instead she's out here, after all those crazy situations that almost took her life.

Then another silence just sets between us. This is awkward. The last time I felt this was when the first time I walked onto the stage. I was a bit shy at that time but still full of motivation for what I wanted at that time.

I was so busy flashing those memories back to my mind when a loud "growl" in my stomach suddenly made a noise. 

oh for the love of the lord! why now?!  My mind almost cursed my stomach. I suddenly feel the warmth on my face. This is so embarrassing. My eyes quickly darted to Syd who was now smiling almost laughing after hearing the cry of my beloved stomach.

"I guess we have to find something to eat?" She told me almost restraining herself from laughing.
