"My wish! Shouldn't I come down stairs to enjoy rain? ", she said trying hide her blush and control her heart beat.

" Really? Why did you get ready then", he asked smirking.

"That.. I yea I no umm caught red handed. Yes, I came because.. Don't make me uncomfortable na, understand", she said and blushed like a red tomato.

He just took her in his arms, she didn't protest it. They stood there for sometime, he pulled out from the hug and gently kissed her forehead.

"I am the happiest person on earth today", he said and smiled at her.

" So am I, but then for how many days are you going? ",she asked giving her best puppy eyes.

" I told you a month", he said and shrugged.

"And where to? ", she asked once again.

" Chennai",he said.

"One month? Chennai? ", she exclaimed.

He nodded and her face fell.

" Why? Will you miss me?", he asked smirking at her.

"No! No! Not at all",she said and tried her best to maintain her emotions.

" Yes! Yes! I can see very well! Won't you tell me bye at least? ", he asked.

" Papam, you are asking for it right? Let me say bye", she said and he started tickling her, she giggled.

"AAgh *giggle* leave *giggle* me *giggle*", she said amidst of giggles and he stopped.

" Fine! Bye Mr. Aravind. Have a safe journey. Take care and and", she was struggling to say the last thing.

"And? ",he asked.

" And call me when you are free! Not in any other sense but just to talk", she said and closed her eyes tight expecting him to laugh over her silly things.

"Alright ma, you just take care of yourself. Concentrate on your semester exams. And just remember I am always here. And I love you", that's all he confessed.

" I love you too", she said.

He hugged her tight and placed a quick peck on her forehead. He placed his luggage in the car and she came to the window.

"I will come back soon ma, don't be sad. Bye. I love you", he said.

" I love you more. I swear if you don't come soon. I will go to Ashwin and ask him to marry me", she said.

"Ma, just now you proposed me, planning to ditch me before few minutes only? ", he asked and she giggled.

" You have to leave now, or else you will be late. Bye", she said.

"Bye", he said.

The car moved from there, Aravind left to Chennai while, Rithika moved back to her home. She called her three potatoes and told them about everything and not to forget she got some teasing  from them for which she blushed and shrugged off.

" Rithu, come have your dinner", her mom shouted and she went to the fridge to get her water bottle, she checked to find her chocolate missing.

"Amma! Amma! Where are you? Why is my chocolate missing? Who ate it? Who dared to eat Rithu's chocolate? After all you all know what chocolate means to me, but even though you ate? Wah! You all need standing ovation! I am dead sure it must be my not so sweet brother who stole my chocolate now and hiding somewhere now. Let him come today World War 3 only", she said and came to dining table.

"You started your chocolate fight again? There was only one chocolate, you weren't there for 4 days so your brother will obviously eat it", her mother said.

" What If I am not there? Is it written in Constitution that if I am not there my not so sweet brother will have all the rights to eat my chocolate? ", she asked.

" Shut up and eat, you are blabbering way too much now", her mother replied and she pouted and continued to eat.

"Amma, I forgot to tell you, this weekend I am going to Divya's home. We have to study. Semester exams are coming up right",she said and her mother nodded.

" I am done! Good night ma, I am feeling sleepy", she said and rushed to her room.

She thought about all the sudden things that happened in her life. Today was indeed a memorable day for her.

She dozed off into deep sleep with a small smile on her face.

The coming days, she was serious about her semester exams. They took forever for her to complete the syllabus and the other side records were of no help, every morning she used to rush to the college and come back home and study. Not to forget every evening she did talk to Aravind every night before she slept or after she had dinner.

It became a habit for her to check on him everyday, she would tease him regarding things and he would get jealous over her.

"Hello"

"Hello Rithu ma, how was your day? "

"Good bava! Just tired with this preparation. How was your day? When are you coming back? "

"Next weekend most probably! Then I will help you revise things better and in an easy way okay? "

"Aww! That's nice"

"Did you eat?"

"Yes! You? "

"Yes I did! I was just thinking about my Boyfriend how he was managing all these days in a hotel all alone? "

"Yes! I pity him. But then we can't help but to wait for two weeks right? ",

" True, don't you have work bava? "

"I do, and you have to study too right? "

"Yes"

"But then, we are here talking. It's fine to take a small break, it's okay"

"I know that!"

"Yes yes! You know everything"

"Yes I do, any doubt? "

"No no no doubt"

Isn't it surprising? When we get what we want! We will always strive to keep up that relationship no matter what. No matter what comes up, it's right sometimes life gives us drastic turns but at the end some sweet memories will definitely be there. Just have patience and you will get the best! ♥️
