After I ended up my call with Lilly, I am getting ready to go. So I fix my things and grab my shake and water bottle and arranged it back to my bag. As I am arranging my things I heard my door opened. I looked up and saw Edward seriously looking at me.

"Come with me Ms. Soarez." He said in an authoritative tone.

"I sent you an email Mr. McDonaugh, I am not feeling well and I need to go home." I told him as I continued to arrange my things. I honestly don't have any energy to argue with him. I just want to go home and rest. But I know that I will spend the night with Lilly tonight.

"I will drop you home." He told me walking towards my direction.

"I have my car with me." I told him in disbelief. My hand instinctively clenched with so much annoyance with his arrogance.

"Give me your car keys," He said and stopped my arms,when I turned my back on him heading the door. 

I really have no energy left to argue, so I just handed him my car keys and then he grabbed my hands. We are on the parking lot when he gave my car keys to his driver and asked him to bring my car back home. He led the way to the elevator and walk me to the parking lot.

"But I am not going home yet." I told him as I shrugged his hands off my arms. We are already in front of his car.

"Get in at once Keira!" he said as he opened the door in his car. Signaling his hands for me to get in. So I just did what I was told and sat silently in the car. 

He started the engine and started maneuvering when he talk.

"I am bringing you home now, looks like you need to rest." He said and glanced at my direction.

"But I am not going home tonight,---- I guess?" I told him awkwardly, and heave a deep sigh.

"For once, can you be true to yourself?" He said as he gave a me an irritated look. I am confused as hell. He is driving now at the secluded part of the resort. 

"Where are you taking me?" I asked him when he parked the car.

"Just trust me on this okay, I will help you feel better." He said as he took my hand and guided me to the dock. Where his speedboat is. We went out of the car and it is so still sunny but since it is winter I can feel the cold air from the sea.

"Will you let me go if I said no?" I asked him as we walk together heading to his boat.

"No" He said with a serious face but I don't know if I see clearly a spark in his eyes.

"Maybe spark of darkness" I mumbled to myself softly.

"What did you just said?" He asked confusedly

"I said, since I have no choice then I will shut up." I told him and rolled my eyes as he is now guiding me to step in the boat.

"It's good you finally realized." He said and lead me towards the steering wheel.

"Okay, so you stay right here. We will go really fast." He told as he started the engine of his boat.

I just did what I was told and after 15 minutes we reached the island. The ride was smooth and steady.  Unlike the last time he used it. 

"So why did you brought me here?" I asked him while he is parking the boat. We are finally walking towards the cabin when he stopped me.

"Come, try this." He said as he lead me close to the shore half walking and half running, I was appalled when suddenly he started screaming at the top of his lungs!

"AAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! IS THAAATTT ALLLL??? FFFUUUUCCCKKKK YYYOOOOOUUUUUU!!!!!!" After that he stops and looks at me while he is panting and trying to catch his breath but smiling at me.

"You look stupid! What was that for?" I asked him confused

"No, you try it, It will make you feel better." He told me still smiling and breathing so heavily.

"So you knew it all along?" I told him and glared at him. Ignoring what he just said.

"What?" He asked as if he knows nothing.

"Daniel's other woman." I told him while my eyes were on the sea. 

"You saw them?" Edward looks at me sympathetically.

"I did not just saw them, but I caught them." I told him. I didn't know what happened but I suddenly felt my tears flowing down my eyes like water. I keep on rubbing them away but they are so stubborn that they kept on falling. Then I finally sob uncontrollably.It flows like a river finding its way to the ocean.

He did not answer but he rubbed my back.

"How could he do this to me!? It's so unfair! All I did was to love him! And I trusted him with all my heart" I said almost whispering and sobbed as if there was no tomorrow.

He just looked at me and hugged me towards his chest.

"Hush! It's over now!" He said while rubbing my back and brushing my hair with his fingers.

"You know everything, don't you?!" I paused and think.

"Oh anyway, I bet this is my luck. My father hates me, the media is feasting on false reports about me, my sister is mad at me, Daniel cheated on me,I'm a total disaster! I bet you're right, I am just  a piece of shit." I said as I pulled myself away from him. Trying to fix myself and kept on wiping my tears but its still flowing continuously. I am feeling so weak and vulnerable. I don't know why do I feel so free as I burst out all of the emotions that I have been keeping since morning. 

"Don't say that to yourself, you are not! Hush!" He said trying to calm me down. As he held me back to his arms and let me cry on to his shoulders. I don't know but there is something in his arms that gave me so much comfort and relief. 

"I brought you here so you can try to shout it all out. Release all your anger, say whatever you want to say. Go!" He urged me to do what he initially did. Even if he is telling it to me softly he is still so authoritative which makes me forget to defy him.

"FFFFUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKK YYYYYOOOOOUUUUU DDDDDDAAAAAAANNNNNNIIIIIEEEEEEEEELLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed with a shrill voice at the top of my lungs.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!!!!! WHEN ALL I EVER DO IS TO LOVE YOU!!!! SCREEWWW YOUU!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE SUCH AN ASSHOLE!!!!! I HATE YOU!!!!!!!" I screamed in between of my cry. I didn't really care what Edward will think of me.But shouting it all out makes me feel so much better.

After getting tired in shouting, I sobbed again with my two hands. As I felt my knees became so weak and jelly I instinctively kneel on the sand and suddenly sat down. I feel so weak when suddenly Edward grabbed me towards his chest.We are in that position for a long time. I have no idea how long. All I know is that I feel relieved after doing all of this stuff. I never knew I could cry like this in front of this self centered, domineering, arrogant,and ruthless Edward McDonaugh, but I did. 

That was one of the most emotional night of my life. 

"T-thank you for helping me get it all out of me. I felt so much better now." I told him and smiled.

"I used to come here whenever I get stressed out from the pressure of work. I normally do all of the things that you do, this island is actually my breather. " He said inhaling the fresh air from the see breeze as he closed his eyes. As if feeling the wind kissing his skin  

"I don't really know why you would wan't to talk to me. Daniel is your brother after all. But I appreciate you spending your time with me. I feel a so much better." I told him as I distanced myself to him and gave him a smile.

"It's alright, Just settle yourself first and we will head back to the city later." He said as he offered his hands to help me stand up.

"Thank you!" I mumbled as we both stood up and remove the sand that's in our clothes.

"I am just wondering, why would you do this, why do you care? I thought you hated me?" I asked him curiously when we are already sitting in the cabin.

"I never told you that I hated you." He told me and gave me a smile

"But you're actions say otherwise." I told him and rolled my eyes on him

"Let's just say that your part of my team and I care about everyone in my team." He said as he took a glass of sparkling water.

"Oh! so you mean to say you take everyone in your team in here if they feel awful?" I tried to push more.

"No." He said nonchalantly and shrugged his shoulders.

"Why not?" I asked him trying to press more.

"Because not everyone get to see their boyfriend having sex with another woman, and your boyfriend----" He wasn't able to finish as I cut him

"Correction ex-boyfriend. Carry on" I said and winked at him

"Okay,Ex-boyfriend happens to be my brother, so-- " I cut him again

"So you feel you are responsible for his actions, and you feel guilty about it?" I asked him

"Exactly! I never thought you're a good reader." He said and shrugged his shoulders.

"I think you are not so bad after all." I told him sipping my coconut water and taking some kale chips.

"So, Does that mean that you may wanna marry me?" He said looking into my eyes as if he is weighing what will be my response.

"Hey! And now the chauvinistic pig is back! Why would you want to marry your brother's ex-girlfriend?" I said in disbelief. I can't believe he will spill this out this time. 

"Chauvinistic pig huh? We'll I need a wife for appearance. See I am a business man, and It will be a very good impression to my clients if I have a wife. I will get to close more deals. See, I've got my reasons princess." He said as he took some chips and continue eating.

"I mean why me? You are not too bad yourself. Why don't you just get some pretty girls out there. I bet you just walk around and ladies will come after you." I told him in disbelief

"Well, I am flattered to know that, that is what you think of me." He said and gave me a full blown smile.

"Oh Dear! There he goes again!" I said rolling my eyes making him chuckle.

"Listen, you will be the one who will get the most benefit out of this deal. I will help you save your Dad's reputation, I can clear out the false allegations about you, and you can live your life normally." He said stating as a matter of fact. But his last words haunts me.

"Edward, how can we ever live our lives normally when we get married. " I asked him

"Oh you will, this marriage will be marriage for convenience. You can still live your life normally as if nothing happened. The only thing that will change is your Dad will not be mad at you and you get to change your surname." He said still trying to convince you.

"I-- I don't know Edward, everything is going on so fast and I don't really know what is right or wrong at this point in time." I told him as I gasp some air. 

"I'll give you some time to think. I just hope you make the right decision. Meanwhile, Let's go back to the city. I will drop you to your friend's house." He said and motioned me to go with him.

We just prepped ourselves and go back to the area where he parked his car.

"Keira, please think about my proposition to you. If you wan't we can make an agreement all written in papers. Just give me a year and we will sort everything out, once settled then we can talk about having a divorce. Both of us can go separate ways after that. Treat this as a business deal." He said once again when we are already in the car.

"Then what do I get in return if I tend to agree?" I asked curiously as I glanced at his direction. 

"Well, I guess 20 percent of the profit that I will be getting in this project." He said as he looks at me

"It doesn't sound so interesting to me at all. " I told him as I look at the road. 

"Think about it overnight, I will give you enough time to decide. But I am looking forward for you to consider." Edward said while he is parking the car in front of Lilly's house.

"So you call overnight enough time for me to decide? I mean you just gave me until tonight right? When you proposed your ridiculous idea?" I said and gaze at him sternly.

" This is the best thing to do Keira, Can't you see what I am trying to do?" He said raking his hair with his hands.

"To be honest? No? I think it is baseless. Alright you want to get married but choose someone else. Not me, I don't want any connection to Daniels family, especially not intimate." I told sincerely

"Fine,you want to know the truth? I don't want to do this as well. I chose you because I know you cannot fall in love with me. I don't do love Keira. And we both know it is impossible for the both of us fall in love with each other. Things are so complicated between us. " He said with disgust and annoyance with his answer. 

"Now, everything makes sense. You are right, I will never fall in love again. It doesn't exist." I said looking into his eyes

"Enough of tonight's drama. You've had enough. Now call your friend and ask her to let you in. You will be needing some rest." He said as he hold my hand.

I called Lilly on the phone and she immediately went down and hugged me as she opened the door. She got surprised to see Edward in my back carrying my bag. 

"Dear, what took you so long?" Lilly said still hugging me tightly.

"Edward offered to drop me here. We just go for some detour at the resort." I told her with an apologetic look. She must be waiting for a long time now since it has been 5 hrs since I called her.

"Sorry, I took your friend for a ride, I'm sorry if we took a long time." Edward said raising his hands to say hi to Lilly.

"Why would you go with him for a ride when it is his brother who caused you this trouble?" Lilly glared at Edward.

"Lilly!" I hissed at her and widened my eyes and she immediately understood.

"Fine! Thank you for giving my friend a safe ride." Lilly said still in a mocking tone but at least this time in a more civilized manner.

"I believe, I haven't formally introduce you to each other. " I said looking at both of them, All 3 of us are still standing at the door.

"Edward this is Lilly my best friend, and Lilly this is Edward, Dad's business partner." I said glancing at both of them.

"Pleased to meet you" Lilly offered her hand for a handshake.

"Pleased to meet you too!" Edward said in a smile giving Lilly a firm handshake.

"Alright, you two come on in! Would you want some drinks?" Lilly asked to both of us.

"Nah, its alright. I will have to go now. I just want to make sure Keira arrive safely in here." Edward said at my back

"Dinner is ready, you can have dinner with us tonight before you go." Lilly offered to Edward.

"It's alright, I really have to catch up on something. You two enjoy the night." Edward replied with a blank expression in his face.

"Okay, if you say so." Lilly answered nonchalantly and Edward just smiled at her.

"I'll go ahead Keira." Edward told me

"Drive safely, take care." I said and smiled at him.

"I will, I will pick you up tomorrow morning." Edward said staring at me intently.

"See you then." He said  but still not moving

"O-Okay." Again I said and looked down.

"I -- I hope by tomorrow you already made up your mind to give me your answer." He said as he lift up my chin to look into his grey eyes.

"I-- I hope so." I told him as he leaned forward, our face is almost touching each other's face. I don't know what will happen next. So I just closed my eyes and wait for the next thing to happen. But he just kissed the top of my head making me open my eyes.

After a split second Edward was already out of my sight.

"What was that!"Lilly asked me as she poked my waist. I almost forgot Lilly's presence. My goodness. I think I have to explain everything now to her.

"What?!" I asked innocently.

"Oh you Little witch! We have the whole night for you to tell me everything." She said laughing at me.
