Edwards attitude towards me is very strange. It seems like he doesn't like me at all for Daniel. Most likely, he just doesn't like me at all. Who cares? I don't like him either. Despite him looking like a Greek God. Yeah Greek God, Hades perhaps. I thought to myself mentally laughing about that silly thought. Then I remembered to call on Daniel.

"Hi Love" I greeted Daniel as he answered my call.

"Love, How was your day." He asked

"It's fine, I survived your brother's mood swings." I told him

"Oh, he doesn't have mood swings. That is his normal." He said laughing

"Oh there you go again! Enough about him. What about you? What's going on?" I asked him

"Work is good. I have done photo shoot with my lead star Brianna. It was amazing." He said, and I felt a pinch in my heart when he mentioned the name Brianna.

"Is she pretty?" I asked him

"Yes, shes amazing, everyone here is amazing." He replied

"I see, what about us, do you even miss US?" I asked him

"Of course you silly! I miss everything about you. " He said and my mood lightens up. But it feels not enough. Maybe I just miss him a lot.

"I miss you too love, I wish you were here with me. You should come one time. The resort is amazing." I told him

"I will, I promise. Uh, but love. I maybe unreachable for a week or 2, You can still send messages but I may not be able to reply as fast. The Director told me the signal in the shooting area will be very bad but then we will see about that." He said

"Oh, I understand. But you said you will be here in less than a month." I said feeling disappointed

"I know love, I'm sorry. But I promise I will find a way. I will ask if I can leave even for 5 days." He said 

"It's fine, I want you to focus on your career. I trust you. It's just I miss you here beside me." I told him

"I miss you too terribly. I promise love, I will make it up to you." he sigh deeply. I know he is also hurting as much as its hurting me. The torture is unbearable.

"Promises, promises, we'll see about that" I said trying to lift up our mood

"Don't you dare me kitty cat! I give harsh punishment, I bite at times you know?"He said on the lighter side

"That's one thing for sure!" I said laughing at him

If there is one thing I like about Daniel is on how we manage to converse freely and how he makes me laugh all the time. It just feels so good.

We talk couple of minutes more and we bid each other good night. I also have to freshen up and eat something. I took a quick shower and finally wen't down for dinner. Dad and Aira arrived and we all ate dinner together.

"So how was your first day Keira" Dad asked

"Everything is fine Dad, the resort is spectacular." I told him

"Yes it is, we will be having a team building this Thursday and Friday. All staff will be staying at the resort for 3 days and 2 nights. Are you staying in there too Dad?" Aira told me but then later she eyed on Dad

"I have a business meeting in Osaka by next week, and I will be leaving by Friday. I will stay there for a week, so I guess you two can join." Dad replied as he continued eating his food

"Dad, I will be having my photo shoot for the commercial of our resort, so I doubt if I can still make it." Aira replied as she shrugged her shoulder. She is the face of the resort. Being an International Model, she will create a huge impact in our resorts marketing ads.

"It's fine, I will be going. Don't worry about me. I can manage." I said to them

"Just call me if you will need anything, I'll be at home. " Aira said while she continues her food.

NEXT DAY

I woke up early again, I got up at 5 am and did my morning jog for an hour. Later had my green juice and took a shower. I feel so energized after my morning routine. It is only half past 6, so I decided to read a chapter of a book and at exactly 7 am I just grabbed some oats and fruits then head to the office.

I arrived to the office at twenty minutes past 7 so I still have time to freshen up a bit and do the finishing touches for the works that I will present to Samantha.  I was walking pass to my office and finished the documents.

At 8:30 Samantha finally arrived. She went to my office and I showed her my insights. She discussed to me what she likes and did not like. And there are two ideas which she likes most and the other 2 she asked me to make some improvements.  I revised it immediately then after an hour I sent it back to her.She finally approve all of my works as she went to Edward for final approval. I'm so glad that he also approved all of my works. I can now start to make the orders and start the arrangement. I am so excited or order new furniture. 

"I can't believe he approved all of those ideas." I told Samantha

"It's all really good. But I did not say its from you" She said smiling at me.

"Oh, that's why he approved perhaps." I said laughing and we both laugh. 

"Its over. Are you all set for Thursday?" Samantha asked me

"I will come, but do I need to prepare anything?" I asked as I furrowed my brows

"Of course you're clothes!" She said and rolled her eyes on me

"Oh, is that what you meant. I have old clothes that would be enough." I told her smiling

"Okay!"She said as she raises her hands

"Thanks Ms. Lewis, I'll go back to my office." I told her she just nods smiling at me then I head back to my office.

TEAM BUILDING 

Everyone is excited at the resort. Edward lead the yearly ceremony together with his father Mr. Patrick McDonaugh. There were games since morning and during the lunch everyone was catered with buffet lunch. I just took some salad and since its not everyday I also ate sushi.

I am most of the time with Samantha and Laura, I can see the evil glare that Elaine is giving me. She is most of the time with Edward. I tried to step away as much as possible to avoid trouble. I am starting to get bored so I texted Daniel. I sat at the back side of the restaurant so no one can notice me. 

"Hi love, how are you?" I sent him. I was waiting for his reply for 15 mins now while watching at what everyone was doing, but still there is no reply. Everyone was called for a boat ride. I was held by Laura and Samantha to go with them but I told them I will need to go get something first. Everyone go and there were four boats. Maximum I don't want to be in the same boat with Elaine and Edward.

As I am heading back to our boat, it already started moving. I cannot see Samantha and Laura. All four boats left and which left me alone in the island. Oh anyways I am not really into this. I just head back to the resort and find myself a seat. I sat just outside the building staring at nowhere. I don't know what to think about even.

"Why did you not join them?" It was Edward walking towards me. He sat and face in front of me which made me feel uneasy.

"Why are you not with them? I saw you at the boat, what happened?" I asked him

"I need to get down to talk to someone,I guess I missed the boat." He answered nonchalantly and shrugged his shoulders.

"I guess I will go ahead. See you in a bit Mr. McDonaugh" I said as I smiled politely at him

"What is wrong, are you not in the mood today. The last time we were together you were so spontaneous. What happened?" He asked curiously

"Nah, I guess I am just not in the mood today." I said as I shrugged my shoulder

"I will go have some tea. Would you want to tag along? Some company maybe good, after all we are here to have fun. And get along with everyone." He said but he is in such an unreadable expression.

I want to decline his invitation, but I don't have any energy to answer him in case he will ask me why I decline. So I just tag along.

"Sure" I said 

We walk together to the coffee shop, just close to the beach. We sat close to each other but no one is talking. I just keep myself busy with my phone. Waiting for Daniel's call. So I texted him again.

"Love please call me once you see this. I miss you terribly." then I pressed sent then heaved a sigh.

Edward on the other hand is also busy using his mobile.  When he finished his conversation he finally talked to me.

"I am following the team would you like join me?" He asked me

"How, all of the boats have left." I said giving him that I am not interested. I am really not interested, my heart is so heavy this is the first time that Daniel made me wait that long.

"I will be using my speedboat. It will be 30 minute drive before we reach them." He said being so sure about himself that I will go with him.

"I guess I will just stay here." I told him as I look down.

"Nah, you should toughen up a bit. You should never mix your personal affairs neither at work nor at business. So get ready, I will be bringing you to the team. I don't want anyone in my team who has attitude problems." He said as he started to walk out the coffee shop.

"Excuse me?!" I said as I felt my blood boil. I did not say anything but just followed him. I am about to confront him when someone came to him and talked to him. Then he walk thru the speedboat that is waiting outside, he inspected it for a while and then the man left him. I thought he already forgot about me when he suddenly walk back to my direction .

"Lets go" He said as held my elbows as we make our way to his boat. I really did not pay attention to him anymore or to whatever is going on around me. I just go with the flow. I don't want to hear any rude remarks from him anymore. I am so upset and I don't want to burst my anger towards him. He also did not say anything as he started the engine and started to drive.

"I think you should come here, we will go fast." He said motioning me to come beside him.

I did not say a word but just followed what he was telling me. He guided me in front of him and he is holding the steering wheel. 

"Hold here, Ready?" He told me as he is pressing something to make a maneuver.

"I think I will be good here" I said when I did not obey him and instead sat at his side.

He groaned and did not say a word. He pressed on to something then immediately the engine rev up. I almost fell from the boat luckily I was holding on to the steel bars at the side. Instantly I screamed for my life.

"Aaahh!! " I am so scared. I thought I will fall but Edward was so fast. He grabbed one of my arm and held me close to him.

"That's why I told you to hold from here!" He yelled at me

I want to yell back at him but my throat was dry and I could not say anything. I was so scared, my heart throbs so fast but I don't know anymore if the reason is from the incident or because Edward is holding me so close now. He is now holding me by the waist and I can feel his breathing down on me. 

"I'm sorry, Come here" he said in a concerned tone, then placed me in front of him as if he is teaching me how to drive the boat.

"The closest Island we got is over there. We will just dock there for a while.  So you can calm yourself down." He said reassuringly. I felt him smelled my hair. I want to ask him why did he do that but I don't understand why I can't find my voice. 

We docked at the island that he was talking about  a while ago I was shocked at his next moved. He carried me bridal style as we went off the boat.

" Hey!" I said as I finally found my voice.

"It's alright, I know its my fault. I shouldn't forced you to come with me." He said in his puppy dog eyes. Oh dear, there he goes again. I did not say anything and looked down.

"Is there something bothering you? You look terrible." He said staring at me intently.

"Oh, thanks! " I said and rolled my eyes

"No its not what I mean but you don't look like your usual." He said as he is making our way to the cabana. I did not realize the island is perfectly landscaped.

"Y.. you don't have to carry me, I think I can walk now." I told him

"I don't mind, besides we're here." he said put me down to a chair. He searched for the key at the plants and opened the door.

"Is this a private island?" I asked him

"Yes, Its my private Island. I bought this couple of months ago. Would you like something to drink?" He asked

"Whatever you have, thanks" I told him

"Here." He said handing me coconut water in can and some kale chips.

"Thanks!" I said and drank the coconut water straight and finished it.

"Whoa, I didn't realize that I was that thirsty!" I said smiling at him

"That's more like it!" He smiled and winked at me.

"What?" I asked him

"Now I guess you're back. It would be nice if you will just loosen up a bit and relax. I mean after few days we will be working again so better take advantage of this moment." He said while inhaling deeply and looked at me

"Come on try it!" He said. I smiled at him and did what he said. I did not say a word and did what he said and after 3 deep breaths I'm already feeling better. 

I didn't know how long but then I keep on doing that for quite some time. I am so deep in trance at the moment. When I opened my eyes, I was surprised that Edward is staring at me intently. I cannot read the emotion in his face. But suddenly I felt numb. 

I tried to act normally trying to divert my and his attention. So I just smiled at him casually.

"Thank you, now I feel so much better." I told him

"It's alright. I think You will be needing to go back home and rest. Or would you like to stay at the resort so you can rest right away." He asked, he sound so concerned. Its so weird.

"I think I will be heading on to the hotel first where we are supposed to stay at the night. My things are still in there." I said looking away from him. I cannot stand his gaze any more. I feel like I am about to melt any moment from now.

"Fine, I will just check our boat and we will head back to the resort." He said as he stood up and go towards our boat. He inspected and started the boat, I saw him round at the boat 2 more times and tried to call at his mobile then he came back. I can sense that there is something wrong so I go and checked.

"Is everything alright?" I asked him trying to look at the sky, it is already 5 in the afternoon when I checked my watch. Dear Lord! How did we spent so much time here. 

"Something is not right in here, the engine is not starting. But don't worry I have some tools and I will see what I can do. I am also trying to call but the reception here is so poor. So I sent a message to my crew, once they receive it they will come and fetch here." He said and trying to make me feel calm.

"Is there anything that I can be of help?" I asked him as I was inspecting him

"Nah! I'm still trying to figure this out. Go on inside the cabana and rest and I will take care of the boat" He said and still checking

I did not say a word and watch what he was doing. It is already getting dark and its getting colder. So I decided to to call him out.

"Edward, It's getting dark now. I think It will be safer for us to have some rest at the cabana and wait for help to arrive in there. Its already cold in here." I told him crossing my arms together hugging myself.

"Let me just tidy things up go right ahead, I will be there in a minute." He just gave a me quick look and pick up all his things in a flash.

I did not reply but head straight right through the cabana. It feels so warm and cozy inside but I feel so tired. I shouldn't come with him in the first place. It really feels awkward to spend the night with him alone. I feel so uncomfortable now..

It's been a while since I last posted.
