EDWARD'S POV

I was running my way to Keira then I finally reached her. She is on the way to the lift when I grabbed her arm to stop her.

"Babe, its not what you saw." I told Keira as I faced turn her to face me.

"No Edward, its fine, you don't have to explain anything." She answered but look down. I can still feel its not okay, but knowing Keira she will never admit.

I was about to say something again when the lift opened and Mr. Yusaku came out from it. 

"Oh shit!" I hissed at myself. I took a deep breath and gather all the strength that I got and go back to my business beast mode. I got to get this deal.

"Konnichiwa Mr. Yusaku, Welcome to Lisbon." I said politely as I greeted him with a hand shake and bowed as they do.

"Konnichiwa , I apologize for the delay. But It is nice to have finally arrive. You have made a pretty good investment. This resort is fantastic. Very clean and smells pure." Mr. Yusaku politely replied, He seem to be a very nice older gentleman. I know him before as he is my Father's friend and business associate as well.

"Mr. Yusaku, please meet my lovely wife, Keira Soarez McDonaugh." I introduced Keira to Mr. Yusaku since she is still standing beside me. I grabbed the smallness of her waist with my arms as I lead her to greeting Mr. Yusaku.

"Konnichiwa Mr. Yusaku, I am pleased to know that you like Lisbon, We will make sure that you will enjoy the rest of your stay here, please let us know if you there will be anything you need to make you more comfortable in your suite." Keira said as she shake the hands of Mr. Yusaku.

"Lovely, Mr. McDonaugh, the last time I heard from your father you were still a bachelor. Like 3 months ago, but I am glad to meet your wife. You have a great choice. I must say you are very good in choosing the Queen in your Empire, huh?" Mr. Yusaku commented. 

"Indeed, she is. Thank you for noticing that. I bet you had a long flight, Why don't we come in to my office. This way please." I told him leading him and Keira.

"I believe you have a very important meeting to discuss, I might as well excuse myself and I'll have to go back to my department." Keira said politely to Mr. Yusaku while I am still holding her waist.

"Oh, it has such been a pleasure meeting you young lady. Please send my regards to Conrad. Oh I might as well meet him one of these days, but send him my regards." Mr. Yusaku said while Keira is smiling while she hold both of his hands as sign of respect while saying goodbye.

"I definitely will, have a great time. I'll go ahead. See you around." Keira said to Mr. Yusaku.

"Edward" Keira looked at me bidding goodbye in a very formal manner which irritates me, she did not even called me babe, I bet she is still pissed with me.

"Talk to you later babe." I told her and gave her a sweet peck on the lips and went away as if nothing happened. I inwardly smile at myself because Keira was caught off guard. I know she did not expect what I did. It felt a bit better and I can't wait to go end this meeting and run home.

"Shall we?" I said leading Mr. Yusaku to the office. When we reach at Elaine's desk she immediately stood up and greeted us.

"Mr. Yusaku, would you like some coffee or tea?" I asked Mr. Yusaku.

"I would like to have some tea and lots of water please." He said smiling

"Elaine please bring us tea and water, We have a very nice matcha tea, We hope that is fine with you." I told Mr. Yusaku smiling.

"Oh that is perfect thank you! " Mr. Yusaku responded.

"Great, Elaine just bring it inside once ready." I told Elaine and Mr. Yusaku and I went inside the office.

The meeting was a bliss. It finished so smoothly in no time. We have discussed all the pros and cons of the proposal and luckily Mr. Yusaku was happy with my presentation. I am so glad that I got this deal. His investment to our new project is going to be a great help.

I am glad that Keira was there when Mr. Yusaku showed up. It was a perfect encounter. She is really my lucky charm. But I think I still need to face something when I go back home. I think some things are not yet properly mended.

After work I neatly arranged my things and leave to go to the pent house where Keira and I are staying.

PENTHOUSE

As I entered our suite, I feel that Keira is not yet in here. I checked her in her office but she still wasn't there. It makes me feel restless since I cannot call her. Her mobile is with me. She is literally built for this world.The way she acted a while ago, she is so classy. She handled herself well in front of Mr. Yusaku. Knowing that she is mad at me.

I feel so helpless, and hungry at the same time. I took some salad sat down in the dining table and started eating when our door finally opened. Of course it is my lovely wife. I looked up at her to greet her but she is not even looking at me. 

"Hi" I initiated to talk to her but she did not even glanced at me.

"Hey." She responded meekly but went straight to our room.

It is so strange that she is acting like this. I feel happy and scared at the same time. I don't want her upset but knowing she maybe jealous of Marian boost my ego a ton, that is for sure.

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while again, work as usual and lots of commitments.
