KEIRA'S POV

That night he drove me home and ever since that night we became inseparable. Daniel is the youngest son of an Irish Business Man, Patrick McDonaugh. But unlike me, he has no interest in handling their family business. He is an artist and would like to pursue an acting career after graduation. He is called the black sheep of his family.

With his rugged bad boy attire and prince charming kind of face, who would have thought I will catch his attention, and he confessing to me that he loves me is the year's greatest revelation.

It is four in the afternoon and I just finished my last lesson for the day. Daniel already have my time table of course he is already waiting for me for sure. I'm already one step away from the school building when I heard someone called me from behind.

"Hey, Keira!" It was Vince, he is one of my classmate in one subject, I turn to face him.

"Oh hi!," I said in reply

"Going home?" He asked me

"Yeah, so what's up?" I asked wanting to know his intention of calling

"Oh, I just saw you walking and I thought you might be on your way home. I actually have something to buy close to your area so I just thought of walking you home, If that's alright?" He said looking hopeful

"I don't think that will be necessary, she's going home with me loser!" Someone talked from our behind and for sure It was Daniel. I turned and looked at him. He was standing at our back looking at Vince and I. Confidence is so evident across his face.

As always, he is looking so irresistibly gorgeous.

"Daniel!" I said as I walk towards and greet him but he suddenly hugged me.

"I missed you!" he said as he gave me quick peck in the lips

" I missed you too." I said shyly. Then I remember Vince who is just staring at us. So I faced him and apologize, because Daniel cut my answer to him. Daniel was holding my waist while I talk to Vince.

"Vince, I'm sorry, I think we'll go ahead." I smiled awkwardly but then he gave me a nod which means that he understood.

"Its fine, have fun guys! See you around!" He said as he waved at me and Daniel.

" See you!" Daniel and I said together and walk towards his car. Daniel opened the door for me before going to the driver's seat.

"So how about Lemon Grass Kitty cat?" He asked as he started to the engine.

"Sure, as long as I am with you there is no problem" I said and hold his biceps in a hug.

"Don't you dare say that again kitty, I might loose my temper and have you as my dinner instead." His body stiffened with my hug.

"Oh you're impossible!" I said as I hit a hit his arms and we both laugh.

A MONTH BEFORE OUR GRADUATION

"Kitty I got a call from the agency where I had my audition last month. I'm finally getting the role as a lead actor." Daniel told me excitedly as he hugged me from behind and kissed the back of my ears.

We are outside the University, He just finished a phone call. We are having our free period so we are just hanging out in our same favorite spot. Under the big tree at the front of our building.

"Oh love, I'm so happy for you! We should call for a celebration" I told him as I faced and hugged him.

"But, I know you are working on your thesis. Would you be good with that?" He asked while still hugging me.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world." I told him and I gave him a peck in the lips.

We just went out with our friends, Lilly and Ryan of course is with us. We went to a bar and have a crazy night together. It was so much fun. 

Daniel is so overprotective of me. In fact, he placed us in a private area now so we four can have our chitchat. He never gave me any liquor. I never imagine that he can be like this with me. He is such a bad boy the first time I met him. But a lot of things had change. I get to know the different side of him. He wasn't that bad actually. But I haven't seen him flirting with the other girls anymore since we became official. And It makes me feel happy. I was chatting with Lilly when he suddenly sat beside me and asked me if I would like to leave. 

"It's already 12 love, let me get you home" He said as he sat beside me. 

"Right!" I said as I put down the glass and smiled at him sweetly. Then I looked at Lilly and she signaled us to go. She knows that if by 1 am and I'm still not home then my body guard may come and get me. And we both don't want that. So I just smiled and Daniel and I left.

"You have no Idea how I want to take you home to my place tonight" Daniel said while holding my waist guiding me on our way out of the club.

"What do you mean?" I asked him confused.

"Oh! Don't give me that look!  eh?!" He said and finally we pass thru the door.

"What are you talking about? Do you think you can manage to drive?" I asked him 

"Of course, I didn't drink that much. Don't worry, you're always safe with me." He said as he open the door of the car and winked at me and deposited me at my sit. 

"Love, its fine, you know I can drive us home." I told him and hold his hands that is now holding the shifting gear.

"It's alright kitty cat, don't worry, I'm still good!" He said and winked at me as he started the engine.

He drove me home safely. He called me 20 mins after he drop me home. Just to let me know that he arrived safely. We talk until we both fell asleep.I cannot wish for anything else at this point in time. I am so happy having him in my life.

DAY OF THE GRADUATION

It has been a week since I last saw Daniel. He was out of town last week to do some of his shoots for his first movie. It is supposed to be the best day of our lives since both of us will be receiving our degree. But I am feeling different kind of emotions as I know this will be our last day in the University.

"Love! You look so pretty!" He said as he hugged me excitedly

" I missed you! How was your week? " I asked him unsure If I will ask him about his leading lady. But I totally forget to ask, I miss him so much and I feel so lost in his eyes.

"It was all good but its always better here with you beside me. I missed you so much!" He said as. he hugged and gave me a longing kiss. Oh dear! I really missed being with him. I don't know why, But I feel as if he took a part of my heart with him.

This is the first time that I met Daniel's father. He Introduced me to his Dad, he said he has a brother but he's not with his Dad. He said he is managing his newly built business and did not give any more details.

I introduced him as well to my Dad and Aira as they came. But I never get the chance to let him know that we are officially on. Anyways, Dad seems not to mind because he is extremely happy that I am finally graduating. Not only that, but also with flying colors.

Also, the whole time he is talking to Mr. Patrick McDonaugh who happens to be my Dad's new business partner.

The graduation went so fast. As If I had a deja vu, It was as fast as our first day of school. The only difference is that I have Daniel with me now. It is just so sad that after four years we will be going on our separate ways this time. I feel that separation anxiety is now hitting me.

We had all of our good memories here in the University, But I don't know how the outside world will be for us. Daniel will be shooting his next scenes here in New York. I begged Dad to let me stay here for another week after the graduation. I told him that Lilly will be here for a month and I would like to bond with her even for a week before we go on our separate ways. He reluctantly agreed, because he needs to be back to Portugal immediately. He told me that he had bought a new hotel and said that It will be my first project.

I am so excited to start a new life, and be back to our place. However, I feel a bit scared on what is waiting for me and Daniel down the line.

AT THE AIRPORT

Daniel is with me at it is time for me to fly back to my country. We spent the whole week together. I cannot forget how Daniel and I made memories together. We used to spend the days together. Cuddle all day. Movie marathon, long walks, long phone calls even at night.

I am holding his hands while I heard that my flight is now ready for check in. 

"Hey, take it easy. We'll be alright! I will visit you whenever I have a chance, don't worry!" Daniel said as he caressed my cheek

"Promise me you will visit me." I told him holding my tears.

"I promise, now where is my brave little kitten?" He said smiling and cupping my face 

I smiled at him and hugged him tight. Like I would never want to go. Its just so hard, standing here without knowing when are we going to see each other again. I cannot hold my tears anymore. They fell down like a rain pouring so freely.

He wiped my tears with his hands, and kissed me one last time.

"Its time kitty, go now before your plane leaves you. You will not like it if your body guard drags you to the plane. That won't look so classy" He said trying to make me laugh

"Silly, That's what I'm gonna miss more about you love!" I said as I hit his arms 

"Aw! Then that's what I'm gonna miss more about you! Your heavy hands!" He said touching his arms as if I hit him really badly.

I bought his joke and we laugh together. We talked for a couple of few minutes more, he really knows how to make me laugh hard. Lightens my mood so easily. He only let me check in my baggage once he knew that I am emotionally ready to go.

Yeah, he made me laugh and made my mood lighter but then how could I not leave with a heavy heart. 

Goodbyes are really hard. But I thought to myself that If we are really meant to be then I need not to worry. Our fate will guide our way.

I proceeded to line up to check in my baggage. It didn't take a long time since I always fly first class. I am already 5 feet away from Daniel when I decided to look back.

I waved at Daniel one last time before proceeding to the immigration. I saw him wiped his cheeks. Wait is he also crying?! I dialed his number and call him.

"Love?" I said when he answered the phone

"Love." He answered back and waved at me smiling. I am on my way to the immigration that is why he is a bit far from me now. 

 "I guess its time for me to go, take care of yourself, I will see you really soon" I told him

"Definitely will, go now don't be late, Always remember that I love you." He said

"I love you too. I miss you already" I told him waving goodbye

"I know love, I'm missing you too now. Come on! Cheer up! I'm going to visit you in less than a month, now hurry catch your plane before you miss it. I love you!" He snapped trying to sound happy on the line. But sadness is also visible in his eyes.

"Right! See you later!" I said and tried to sound fine as well. I waved at him and gave him a flying kiss. Then he acted to catch it and kiss his hands with his lips. I smiled and threw more flying kisses. And he acted as if catching it one by one and putting it in his pocket. I laughed and waved him goodbye finally.

He is really silly. He is so cute and gorgeous doing that. I proceeded to the immigration department and I am out of his sight. I kept myself busy reading during the flight. I know another chapter of my life is opening for me once I landed in Portugal.

ARRIVAL AREA

" Welcome home!" My Dad came in the arrival and hugged me.

"Thanks Dad! It's nice to be back!" I said as I hugged him back
