"Kittens!" Valt and Shu yelled in union as they bend down down to get a closer look. I was still clenching my heart when Ren Wu placed his hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?" He whispered softly. He,of all people, knew that I hated all forms of animal abuse. I nodded as Shu called me over to see the kittens. In the box laid three little-bitty kittens. "Your turn, Cat Lady." Valt said with a smile as he took a step back. I smiled as I picked up the smallest one, an all white kitten with four coal black paws and a black tail. Its little eyes were still shut. "These kits are still newborns." I spoke "They are too young to be away from their mother. There are two girls and one boy and they are American-Shorthairs." The boys looked at me funny, but they were proud to have info on the baby kittens. "What are you thinking,(first letter of your name)?" Ren Wu asked. I placed the kitten back in the box with her brother and sister before answering Ren Wu's question. "I think we need to get these kits food and warmth first?" It was a five minute walk to my house, so we chose to take the kittens in. Once inside,Shu helped me find a heating pad while Valt and Ren Wu called their moms,asking to spend the night. All their moms had said yes,so here we are with all three boys holding a kit while I made the food. "What are we going to name them?" I heard Valt ask.
