"Where were you?!" Sonia quickly shouted at her brother once he opened the front door.

"Lower your voice..." The azure one groaned and dropped his ears. He ignored his sister and quickly dashed to his room. He quickly locked the door and laid down in his bed.

"Sonic!" The pink hedgehog dropped her ears and gasped when her brother did that. "What's wrong?! Did something happen?" She started panicking.

Sonic stayed quiet and looked at his phone then started going through it checking if Shadow had done something or texted Fleetway. He looked at Shadow's contact for a while. He had given him his number since he was going to contact him through there.

"Sonic. Please answer me." Sonia knocked on the door. "What happened?"

"Nothing! I'm tired!" He groaned.

"That's obviously a lie! Please. Don't make call mother..." She threatened, she knew this was the only way of getting him to talk.

Sonic stood up and walked to the door then opened it. "I met someone, spend the night and now I'm tired. I want to sleep. That's all that happened. Can I sleep?" He yawned obvious he was exhausted.

"O-oh... Is that all...?" She dropped her ears, unsure how to feel about that.

"Yes, Sis. I promise. Just please let me sleep." He rubbed his face. "I promise that's all that happened." He hated lying to his family but he didn't know what else to do.

"Alright..." Sonia mumbled. "I'll see you... Later then..." She sounded worried.

Sonic closed the door and laid down again, he quietly started crying. He sighed and fell asleep.

A few hours later, Aleena called the azure Prince, worried since he didn't answer at all the morning.

The azure one woke up when he heard his phone and quickly answered it before his siblings could hear it. "Yes...?" He asked tiredly.

"Hi Maurice. Is everything okay? You didn't answer the phone when I called you earlier." Aleena asked in worry.

"Sorry Ma, I was just really tired." He yawned. "I haven't slept well in a while. Did you need anything?" He asked as calmly as he could.

"I just wanted to make sure my kids are okay." Aleena smiled softly. "I'm sorry if I woke you up, is your sister awake?"

"It's okay Ma, I think she is. I haven't gotten out of my room yet." He groaned as he stretched.

"Alright. I'll let you rest." The Queen hung up.

Sonic looked at the door and sighed then slowly stood up. He was hesitant about what to do, he didn't want to get out of his room, he felt depressed. But he knew that it would be suspicious if he didn't so he walked to the door and went to the living room.

Sonia was on the couch watching television, she was spaced out since she was thinking about Sonic and why he acted like this.

"Hey sis." Sonic smiled softly at her and went to sit beside her. "Where's Manic?" He asked as soon as he sat down.

"Still at Scourge." The pink hedgehog looked at her brother and hugged him. "It's so quiet without you two." She said softly.

Sonic's ears perked up at this and he hugged back then chuckled. "Hey how about we go out to eat?" He smiled at her.

"I'd love that." Sonia smiled back. "I'm too lazy to cook either way."

"Come on, let's go then. I saw a pretty good restaurant near the bar yesterday." He pulled out his phone. "Oh, and a kid from school bumped into me at the bar and gave me my phone. Said that the phone had no battery so he had to ask the principal whose phone it was." He made up a lie and stood up.

"That's great." The Princess stood up. "They didn't see anything, right?"

"No, the phone was off before they could check it." He said then grabbed his sister's hand. "Hold on tight." He smirked slightly and dashed off to the cafeteria he had seen.

Sonia yelped and held onto Sonic. "No! My hair!" She gasped when they stopped in front of of the cafeteria and saw her reflection. "No..."

Sonic laughed softly and helped her fix her hair. "It's not a big deal, sis. Let's go in." He chuckled, trying so hard to forget about Shadow and their agreement.

"You'll pay for this." Sonia growled playfully at her brother as she followed him. "I'll tell Manic to torture you."

"Oh come on. He can't do much since he can't even catch me." He chuckled and walked in.

"He can when you sleep." Sonia said creepily and touched Sonic's neck with her cold hands.

"Hey!" Sonic jumped and moved away from her. Sonic caught everyone's attention making him clear his throat and lower his ears. "Don't do that." He whispered to his sister and quickly sat down.

"Sorry." Sonia chuckled. "But you deserved it." She sat down beside her brother.

"I hate this place." He chuckled, referring to the school.

"Why? I've never been here before." The pink hedgehog raised a brow and looked around, thinking he meant the cafeteria.

"I mean this city, the school, the students." He mumbled as he waited for the waiter. He rubbed his face. "They make me not want to go to school."

"I know how you feel, I'm not a fan of this place either." Sonia sighed. "Maybe we should tell Mother to go back to our old school. It was much better there."

"I don't want to go back to the castle." He sighed as he said that lowly.

"That's what I never understood. Why don't you want to go?"

"Because I don't like being followed around as if I don't know how to take care of myself." He rolled his eyes.

"I guess..." Sonia slowly nodded and ordered when the waiter came.

Sonic ordered as well and asked for a lemonade. "Maybe I should talk with Fleetway. I should meet him again. Give him another chance..." He thought out loud.

"I don't think that's a good idea." The Princess dropped her ears.

"I don't know... I really liked him but... He did scare me... I won't tell him where we live though. I'll be fine." He looked down.

"Sonic..." Sonia was about to say something but changed her mind. "Do whatever makes you happy." She held her brother's hand.

"Thanks sis." The azure one smiled softly and moved his hand away when the waiter came. "I wonder how sore Manic will be after yesterday." He chuckled.

"Don't remind me." Sonia chuckled. "I just want him to be here by Monday."

"I'm sure he will be." Sonic chuckled and started eating.

"I want to tell Mother to take him back." The pink hedgehog chuckled. "It's closer to Scourge's house either way."

"You have to ask Manic. If he wants to go back." He kept eating, the pink one soon started as well.

"He won't, he can't lie about his limping." She laughed.

"True." Sonic laughed softly.

"You can't be serious..." Sonia gasped when she saw Manic's neck that was covered by hickeys. "What the heck!"

"What? We were both drunk as hell." Manic chuckled. "You you're gonna help me or nah?" He crossed his arms. "We're gonna be late for school."

"Just give him a scarf, sis." Sonic chuckled with his arms crossed.

"Right." The pink hedgehog rubbed her face and brought her brother a scarf them threw it at his face. "You need to control your feelings."

"Yeah, yeah. You ain't the boss of me." Manic rolled his eyes and put on the scarf. He was limping a lot.

"How are you going to explain the limping at school?" The azure prince chuckled and began walking away. He didn't want to be called out by the teacher even though he didn't want to go to school either.

"I don't care. They shouldn't butt it on my business either way."

"Let's just go to school. Please." Sonia sighed.

"Yeah..." Sonic mumbled as they got out of their house and walked to school. He was spaced out all the way to the school.

When the triplets reached the school, they immediately went to their class. The green hedgehog wasn't limping as much and he was doing a good job at hiding the pain.

Sonic walked inside the classroom, he saw Shadow and quickly looked away then walked past him to get to his seat. He sat down and looked down.

The ebony hedgehog was smirking lightly a the smaller hedgehog.

The azure one tried to pay attention in class but he kept getting distracted by the agreement he had done. He kept thinking of a way out of it that would not make it obvious that he was a prince but he couldn't think of anything.

When the class ended, the azure Prince got a message from none other than Shadow the Hedgehog.

Shadow:
Meet me in the restroom.

Sonic looked at his phone and tried to stay calm. He stood up and told his siblings he'll meet them in class then started walking to the restroom. He lowered his ears slightly once he was far from his siblings.

The azure one walked inside the restroom and noticed no one else was inside. He looked around for Shadow even though he wanted to run away from him but he knew he couldn't.

Before he could react, he was pinned on the wall by the ebony hedgehog. "You actually came~ " He smirked.

Sonic gasped and tried to move, his heart was racing and he pinned his ears down. "I-I don't... I don't want anyone... t-to find out..." He stuttered as he tried to get out of his grip.

"Don't worry, no one will." Shadow chuckled at how pathetic the smaller one looked in his eyes. "I'll make sure of that~"

"W-we are in school... L-let go..." He stopped trying since the ebony one was stronger than him. He looked down and kept his ears pinned down.

"We made an agreement, bitch." Shadow growled, getting annoyed. "Don't piss me off."

Sonic stayed quiet and looked away as he tried to calm down knowing there was no way out.

"What took you so long?" Manic raised a brow when he saw his brother walking to class, they were waiting outside the classroom for him.

"The restroom... Was full..." He said softly and walked inside the classroom.

"Okay..." The green Prince nodded and walked in behind his brother, knowing something was off.

Sonic stayed quiet and walked to his desk then sat down, he was glad that Shadow kept healing him.

"Eyes on me, class! We are going to discuss about a project due at the end of next month. I have already assigned partners for you and I better not hear ANY complaints about them because I am NOT changing them," The teacher looked at the triplets referring to them as well. "This project is 35% of your grade, so if you want to pass my class, you better do it." The teacher went on about the project, until he finally finished and explained how the names are posted on the back wall to see who their partners are.

"I hope we're together." Manic grabbed Sonic's wrist. "I won't do anything, just so you know." He chuckled.

"I already know that." Sonic chuckled and walked to the list. His heart started racing as soon as he saw his name next to Shadow's. "W-what...? No way... Why with him...? Im screwed..."

"What?" The green hedgehog gasped. "Are you going to be okay...?" He asked lowly.

"Y-yeah... I can handle it, as long as it isn't Sonia stuck with him, I'm fine." He sighed knowing this was going to be a literal pain in the ass. He glanced at Shadow.

"I guess." Manic nodded. "We should go to our next class." He changed the subject.

"Yeah... Let's go..." He followed his siblings to the next class.

When the class ended, the ebony hedgehog texted the azure one, to come to his place for the project.

"Guys... I need to start the project with him to get it over with. I'll see you at home." The azure one said as calmly as he could to his siblings. "I promise I will be okay." He began walking away.

"Sonic." Sonia grabbed her brother's wrist. "Are you saying the truth? Because you're not yourself lately."

"I am sis, I promise... I've just been acting this way because I am still deciding whether I can trust Fleetway or not." He gave her a small smile. "I'm fine." He hated lying to them.

"Are you... Really going to Shadow's house? Or are you seeing Fleetway?" The pink hedgehog lowered her ears.

"I'm going to work on the project with Shadow. I want to get it over with, like I said. When I start seeing Fleetway again, if I start seeing him again then I will tell you." He pulled his hand away. "Can I please go, sis? You're worrying too much."

"Fine." Sonia nodded. "Don't be late."

"I'll try not to." The azure one dashed off. He kept making wrong turns on purpose not wanting to go to Shadow's house but he sighed after a while and finally stopped in front of his house knowing he should do as he says.

The door opened before Sonic could knock on the door, he crossed his arms with a serious expression. "Come in."

Sonic lowered his ears slightly and slowly walked in. He didn't want to be there.

"Don't act like you're the victim." Shadow rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I let you choose, and you did. You brought this upon yourself and you know it." He chuckled. "I've fucked better virgins than you, and they weren't half as pathetic as you."

This made the azure one growled lowly, he soon stopped knowing he shouldn't do that or he'll get him mad. He turned around to face him and shook his head. "Let's just do the project so I can leave." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh, you won't leave when we're done with the project." The ebony one crossed his arms. "You're staying here for a few hours."

Sonic dropped his ears at this and stayed quiet. He knew he could call the guards on Shadow and they will lock him in but part of him knew he shouldn't. He didn't want to get anyone's attention, knowing that if the guards suddenly took Shadow, their secret may come out. "Let's just start." He ignored what he said.

The ebony hedgehog nodded and sat on his couch then grabbed his laptop, he was very serious when it came to school since he was also working somewhere that needed all of his free time.

Sonic grabbed his journal and book from his backpack then took out his laptop. He started going over what they needed to do until his phone started to get spammed. His ears perked up and he looked at the messages from Fleetway. He looked very hesitant to get the phone.

Shadow glanced at Sonic and raised a brow then looked back at his laptop screen. "What's up?" He asked, a little curious since he didn't know who that guy was.

"Nothing." He sighed and grabbed the phone, his hand was shaking lightly. He read the messages and decided to finally text him back.

Sonic:
Give me more time to think about this, Fleetway. I am not sure if you've really changed.

"It's nothing." He said it coldly, his mood quickly changed as soon as he sent the message and started doing the project.

Shadow hummed and nodded, his curiosity getting the best of him, but he decided not to ask anything. "I'll do the first part of the project and you do the second."

"Alright." He put his phone in his backpack once he kept getting messages from him again. He groaned quietly but ignored it.

"You should turn it off, or put it on mute. It's getting annoying." Shadow looked at the smaller one.

"I can't, if I miss a call from my mother, she will go crazy." He mumbled.

"Right." The taller one rubbed his face as he kept typing. "What do they want anyway?" He asked again, this time thinking out loud.

"It's just my ex, he's been wanting to convince me to get back with him..." He confessed and rubbed his face getting annoyed. He continued doing the project.

"I've been through that too." Shadow hummed and chuckled quietly when he remembered. "She wouldn't stop following me around. It got very creepy one time." He started talking, feeling like the azure one would listen.

"Yeah, Fleetway is the same." He chuckled.

"He follows you around too?" Shadow rested back on the couch as he had the laptop on his lap.

"When we were in the same school, after I broke up with him." He explained to him as he kept typing.

"Was he overprotective?" The ebony hedgehog guessed as he looked at Sonic.

"Yes... He would fight anyone and even ended up hurting me when I tried to get in the way. I broke up with him after, I knew he wasn't going to change if I kept letting him. My mother tried to get him locked up but I never want things with anyone go that way. They keep saying I'm too nice..." He chuckled. "Maybe, but I just know people can change over time." He didn't look at Shadow, he kept his ears lowered to the sides and doing the work.

"They may be right. But that's a good thing." Shadow looked back at his laptop, feeling strange at seeing Sonic like this.

Sonic rolled his eyes knowing he only said that for his own good. He kept doing the project and yawned softly, he had not been sleeping over 2 hours ever since they made the agreement.

"You can go home." The black and red hedgehog stood up when they were done. "I have to go in a bit." He made up a lie, but in reality he didn't want to touch the azure hedgehog, he knew he started gaining feelings for him, but he didn't want to believe it.

Sonic was a bit shocked at hearing this and sighed in relief quietly at that. He nodded and started putting his stuff away. "We still need to do the essay about the project." He knew he had to come back and he hated that. "I'll get going." He grabbed his phone from his backpack and pinned his ears down at seeing Fleetways messages. "I'll see you later." He said that annoyingly since he knew what would happen next time he were to see him and dashed off.

The ebony hedgehog lowered his ears slightly and sighed, knowing he ruined any chances he had to actually being together. He started getting ready for work, trying to convince himself that he didn't like anyone and that he wasn't attracted to guys.

Sonic dashed off to his house and walked in after he opened the door. "I'm home!" He shouted from the living room and started walking to his room.

"Welcome back!" Manic shouted back. "We have chili dogs! Come here quickly before we it them all!" He chuckled as he sat down to eat.

Sonics ears perked up and dashed to the table. "Where?!" He shouted happily.
