Author's P.O.V.
"I swear I had it with me. Sonia, please told me you took it." The azure one searched around in his backpack and his quills.

"I didn't." Sonia lowered her ears and looked in her backpack as well. "Are you sure it's not in your room? Maybe you left it there?" 

"I need to go check, help me out with the teachers while I go. I won't take that long. Damn, I can't believe this... if someone finds it, we are screwed..." He had his ears dropped and gave his backpack to his sister. "Keep checking, i'll be back." The azure one walked out of the class and glanced around for no one to see him dashed off to their house.

The pink hedgehog dropped her ears as she kept looking. The azure one couldn't find his phone and quickly dashed back in the classroom and sat down, dropping his papers with the wind he caused. 

"No luck... I must have dropped it in lunch..." He rubbed his face. 

"Sonic the Hedgehog!" The teacher shouted when the azure hedgehog caused all that mess. "Can you please explain why you came in the classroom in such a hurry? If you didn't want to be late, then you should've looked at the time." 

All the students looked at Sonic as some were snickering. 

"S-sorry..." Sonic looked down and sighed then he looked at his sister. "What do I do..?" He whispered as he picked up the stuff. 

"Let's just hope no one found it..." Sonia sighed,. getting stressed, she noticed that the ebony hedgehog was smirking at Sonic and lowered her ears, getting an idea, but she immediately shook that thought away when the teacher started the lesson. 

The azure one groaned quietly and put his head down. "I don't know what to do..." He tried to pay attention to class.

"Try to calm down." Sonia rubbed her brother's back. "Everything's fine." She tried to reassure him. 

Sonic took a deep breath and nodded. His phone was being spammed by his ex sending him messages asking when they could meet or where he was at. His messages were not block. 

The ebony hedgehog had the azure hedgehog's phone in his backpack in mute, he was going to read them later.

"I will go check in the cafeteria, you go to the front office and check if they found a phone." He told his sister as he dashed off to the cafeteria not caring who saw him run.

Sonia nodded and did what her brother told her. 

The whole school was talking about Sonic and his speed, since it was rare that someone had a talent or a power. 

The azure one stopped in front of the cafeteria, so many people were trying to talk to him but he ignored them and started looking around. He was scared that someone may have found the phone and found out that they were from the Royal family.

Meanwhile, his phone kept getting spammed by messages of his ex.

"This guy is mental." Shadow mumbled when he saw the notifications. "Must be overprotective." He chuckled and put the phone away, not wanting to be seen by anyone or to see the messages yet and talk to the golden hedgehog, he knew he needed to know more about the azure one before he did so. He didn't think to check the other messages or search his phone for any pictures.  

He was sitting alone in the cafeteria, his friends had over classes so he was alone this time, not that he cared. He raised a brow when he saw his speed.

The azure one dashed around the cafeteria looking around for his phone, he suddenly stopped once he saw Sally. He had told Sonia to tell Sally so she could help them look. 

"I'm freaking out!" Sonic whispered/shouted to his childhood friend. "If someone goes through that phone..." He pinned his ears down. "I need to find it..." 

"Calm down, we will. I am sure it has to be around somewhere. Sonia is at the principal's office trying to find it. I'm sure the principal will try and help us." She sighed. 

The ebony hedgehog chuckled at that and smirked. "Too easy." He mumbled again, knowing that he made the azure hedgehog worry about his phone, so he could talk to his sister. 

But then he realized something.

Sally must've told her about him. 

He groaned quietly and rubbed his face, thinking all this was for nothing. 

Sonic rubbed his face and sat down in one of the tables as he tried to think where he last had his phone. He knew he had it with him at lunch but he couldn't pinpoint what had happened after that. He groaned and tugged on his quills from being anxious. 

Just then, Sonic's phone got a message from his mother. The picture of them hugging Aleena showed up as the message popped up. 

Aleena: 
Is your brother still with his boyfriend, sweetie? I want the 3 of you to come home and have dinner. 

When the ebony hedgehog saw that, he gasped and his ears perked up, he looked at the picture for a few minutes as he tried to take in what he just found out. "No way..." 

Uncle Chuck: 
Hey Sonny Boy, your mom and I miss you and have been trying to reach you so the 3 of you can have dinner with us.

Sonic's uncle sent him a message as well, a picture of Sonic wearing his suit and crown as he stood beside Chuck popped up when the message appeared. 

"What the hell." Shadow kept mumbling to himself as his mind raced. He knew he could be in big trouble if he was caught. 

"Sonia said she didn't find it but she's looking in the classrooms you two had." The chipmunk was heard. "Let's go, Manic texted me that he is going home, maybe he can distract you a bit." 

"Y-yeah... Chaos... Ma is going to kill me..." The azure one kept his ears pinned down.

"I'm sure she won't be that mad." Sally chuckled. 

The ebony hedgehog put the phone on his back and chuckled to himself. "I can't believe it... That coward is a Prince." 

"I don't want to get anyone else in trouble... You have no idea how mad she was when I told her I had told Fleetway or when Scourge found out. She threatened to lock them in if they said a word..." Sonic sighed and rubbed his face. "I need to talk to Fleetway..." He knew he would be calmer. 

The queen then texted Sally asking if she could make it to dinner with them at the castle as well. 

"Don't worry Sonic. We'll find it, I'm sure we will." Sally rubbed her best friend's back and texted Aleena that she'll be there. "Do you know Fleetway's number? You can text him from my phone if you want." 

"No..." The azure one sighed. "And even then, Sonia already hates that I'm texting him for what he did when we were together." He stood up. "Let's just go..." 

The chipmunk slowly nodded and walked next to her best friend. 

"No luck." Sonia sighed when she walked to them. 

The azure prince kept his ears pinned and slowly nodded. "L-let's just go home." He sighed, not knowing that his mother had invited them to dinner.

"Mother called us for dinner." The pink hedgehog followed her brother. 

"What?" He shouted then rubbed his face. "She's going to kill me...!" He groaned.

"Be quiet." Sonia hit Sonic's arm. "She will be mad, she won't kill you.

"Fine. Let's go. I'm not in the mood to run. We are going by car." He groaned. 

"I'm coming with you." Sally smiled. "Your mother invited me for dinner.

"That's great! Let's go then." Sonia chuckled. 

"Is your father going to be there too?" Sonic raised a brow and looked at their childhood friend. 

"Maybe." Sally shrugged. "I don't know."

"I haven't seen him in a while." The pink hedgehog smiled. "Do you think he'll start talking about the Resistance again?" She laughed.

"I hope not." He chuckled and started walking past Shadow's table not seeing him. "The more they talk about the Resistance, the more Uncle Chuck will get me to train with the guards." 

Shadow's ear twitched and rubbed his face. He couldn't believe it, he didn't know how he should feel about that. 

"Yeah, my dad does the same, once I couldn't get out of the bed from the training." Sally chuckled. 

"Manic can't get out of the bed for other reasons." Sonia sighed. 

Sonic softly chuckled. "Just let him be. He's happy with Scourge, if Scourge hurts him in a different way, then that's when I will step in." 

"He did hurt him. Countless times." Sonia crossed her arms. 

"Sonia. Manic is happy with him." He looked at his sister. 

"Yeah, I know..." Sonia sighed. "I just don't trust him."

"I know but you have to." They kept walking to the front doors. "Do we have to change? Do I have to wear a suit?" He asked.

"Probably." Sonia chuckled. 

"Ugh, I have to wear my dress." Sally groaned and face palmed. 

"Am I the only one that likes dressing up?" Sonia raised a brow. 

"Yes. Sally is more like me." He rolled his eyes as they kept walking to their house so they could change and leave in the car.

"Well, I'm going to my place, I'll see you at the castle." The chipmunk waved at her friends and walked away.

"See you later!" The pink hedgehog waved at her friend. 

The azure one stayed quiet as they walked and  started thinking about what had happened with his phone or if someone had found it. He groaned and he started feeling pain in his hand. Without noticing, he was clawing himself from being scared and nervous about his phone so he started bleeding. 

"Sonic!" Sonia gasped and grabbed her brother's arm to stop him. "Calm down...!" She opened the door to their house then caller for Manic. "MANIC! Get here right now!" She closed the door behind them and put the azure hedgehog on the couch.

"What?! What happened?" Manic ran to the living room and dropped his ears when he saw his brother bleeding. "What happened?!" He repeated. 

"Nothing. I'm fine." The azure one looked at his hand. "I just need to clean it up and get a new pair of gloves. It's not that big of a deal." He shook his head, he sounded sad and annoyed. "Let's just get ready and leave." 

Sonia nodded and sighed then let Sonic go to his room then explained what happened to Manic. 

"I see. I can go look for it tomorrow. There's no way it's just gone. Someone must've stolen it." The green hedgehog sighed. "We're fucked. Whoever stole the phone learned everything about us." He shook his head. "I'm gonna change." He walked to his room. 

"Why though...?" Sonia whispered to herself. "We didn't insult anyone..." She tried to think who would steal from them as she dressed up and did her makeup and hair. 

Sonic finished getting ready and sighed when he walked downstairs. He grabbed his car keys and waited for his siblings to get ready. He kept his ears dropped and kept thinking on what his mother was going to do. He knew she was more than likely going to tell Chuck that he needed to train more as a punishment from losing his phone and he didn't like missing days of school. 

"Let's go Sis!" Manic shouted at his sister. "Let's get this over with." He pulled his suit high up to his neck so his hickeys couldn't be seen, but Scourge had left them to high up his neck. 

"Maybe you should let Sonia cover those up with makeup." Sonic looked at his brother. "That way Ma and Unc won't see them." 

Manic sighed and lightly blushed in embarrassed then nodded. "Yeah. You're right." He mumbled and walked to Sonia's room. 

"Sit down." Sonia smirked since she heard what they said. 

The green hedgehog rolled his eyes playfully and sat beside his sister. 

Sonic chuckled quietly and sat down as he waited for them. He fixed his suit and shook his head as he thought about what his mom would do to since he knew she was going to me pissed. 

"What would you without me?" The pink hedgehog chuckled and lifted Manic's head then started covering the hickeys

"Just do your thing and shut up." Manic groaned. 

"Hurry up guys!" Sonic laid down on the couch, anxious about what had happened earlier.

"Coming!" Sonia shouted and smiled when she finished and pinched her brother's cheek.

"Aouch!" The green hedgehog hissed and lower his ear slightly. "I get it. You're mad." He rubbed his cheek and stood up. "It's not my fault." He mumbled and walked to Sonic. 

"Let's get this over with and let's go." He sighed as he sat up then fixed his suit and stood up. 

"Yeah." Manic chuckled. "I'm driving." He grabbed the keys and walked outside. 

"Don't touch your neck!" Sonia shouted as she walked behind him. 

"Wake me up when we get there." He got in the back seat and buckled up then closed his eyes. 

"Okay." Sonia sat down and buckled up as well.

"We're here." Manic lightly shook Sonic. "Bro, wake up." 

Sonic slowly opened his eyes and looked up then unbuckled himself up and stretched then got out of the car. He looked at the castle and sighed knowing he was in trouble then followed his siblings inside. 

"We don't have to tell her that you lost your phone." Sonia rubbed her brother's back. "I'm sure that we'll find it." 

Sonic slowly nodded. "Thank you." He felt relieved to hear that. 

"Don't worry about it." Manic chuckled. "I hope the makeup doesn't wear off, if it does, I'm screwed." 

"Don't touch it and you'll be okay." He looked at his neck. "You look fine so far." 

"Of course I do." Manic smirked. "I'm always looking fine~"

"Oh my Chaos, Manic." Sonia facepalmed. 

"Oh shut up." Sonic laughed softly as he walked inside the castle.

"How are my kids?" Aleena smiled when she saw her kids and opened her arms for a hug. 

"Mother!" Sonia smiled brightly and ran to her mother then hugged her tightly. 

"Hey mom!" The azure one smiled and walked to his mom. He waited for Sonia to pull away then hugged her as well. 

Aleena smiled softly and kissed Sonia's forehead and pulled away then hugged Sonic. "I missed you all." 

"We missed you too Ma." Manic chuckled. 

"How has everything been at the castle since we left?" Sonic asked. 

"Pretty quiet without the 3 of you fighting or running around, Sonny Boy." An older hedgehog walked to them. "How are you? Is everything going well at the new school?" Uncle Chuck walked to them and pulled Manic for a hug. 

"Hey Unc." Manic smiled and tried to avoid touching his neck. "I missed you a lot."

"We missed you guys too. The castle is too quiet without the 3 of you, ain't that right, Aleena?" The older one chuckled softly and pulled away from Manic.

"Indeed." Aleena pulled away as well and kissed Sonic's forehead. "Let's go sit down, Princess Sally and her father will be here in a bit."

Sonic and Uncle Chuck nodded as they began walking to the dining room. Sonic was still a bit anxious about him losing his phone.

"How's the new school?" The Queen asked as she walked beside her kids.

"As boring as all schools are." Manic chuckled. 

"I can't wait for a break " Sonic chuckled already being annoyed of that school and everyone from there.

"That's surprising coming from you, Maurice." Aleena lookee at her son. 

"Well it is boring." He shrugged. 

"Yeah, hella boring." The green hedgehog agreed. 

"Manic. Language." The mother said sternly.

"Hello, Aleena, Chuck. It's been so long, thanks for inviting us to dinner." Sally walked up to them smiling. 

"Hey Sally." Chuck waved at her. "Where is your father?" 

"I'm here, Chuck." King Acorn walked to his daughter. "Long time no see, Aleena."

"It has been." Aleena said softly and smiling as she greeted him. "Let's go to the dining room." She continued walking to the dining room then took a seat, so did the rest of them.

The two elder men started having the normal conversation they usually had. About the 'old times' and the Resistance. 

"Not again..." Manic mumbled and sighed then rubbed his face, his crotch hurt too much for him to be there for a long time. 

"Come on, Manic." The azure one chuckled. "Hang on a bit more, I'll drive back home so you can rest." He whispered to his brother. 

Sally and Sonia kept chatting until their food were served. 

"You don't understand the pain..." Manic whispered back. "I hate this already..." 

"You shouldn't had let Scourge then." He whispered with a soft laugh.

"Yo-" Manic blushed. "You don't understand." He kicked his brother's leg. "Shut up." 

"Hey!" He laughed quietly and looked back at everyone as he started eating.
