"Sonia!!!" Both hedgehogs yelled from downstairs. "Hurry up!" The azure one groaned and hit his head on the wall. "We've been waiting for an hour!"

"Shut up!" Sonia shouted back. "You're so impatient!" She rolled her eyes. 

"Well sorry that we're not wasting our time painting our faces." Manic rolled his eyes and sat on the couch. "Are you that insecure about your looks?" 

"That's it, we are leaving you behind if you aren't ready in 1 minute!" Sonic rubbed his temples. "I am already in a bad mood from having to unpack in a rush and not sleeping well. Let's. Go!" 

"Fine!" The pink hedgehog groaned and walked to her siblings. "Let's go!" She crossed her arms. 

"Thank Chaos." Manic stood up and yawned. "This is going to be a loooong day…" 

"Finally!" Sonic opened the door and walked outside. He waited for his siblings to get out then he locked the door.

Once they got to the school, the triplets walked to the principal's office, they had been talking the entire walk to the school. When they were about to walk inside the office, a twin tailed fox and a five quilled hedgehog interrupted them. 

"You must be the new students." The five quilled hedgehog said. "The principal assigned us to be your guides for today." 

"My name is Tails. And this is Silver." The twin tailed fox smiled. "And you are?" 

"I'm Sonia, these are my brothers, Manic and Sonic." Sonia shook Silver and Tails' hand. 

"Sup?" Manic waved at them.

Silver gave them their schedules. "Nice to meet you guys, let's go show you your lockers." He smiled at them. 

"Alright." The blue one looked at their schedules and sighed in relief when he saw that they had the same classes. 

They followed Tails and Silver to their lockers, they were right next to each other.

"Here are your lockers, we'll show you the rest of the school as the day goes on. Luckily, we have the same class now, so it won't be that hard." Tails chuckled and gave the triplets their keys. 

"Our first class isn't that far from here." The silver one said once he heard the bell ring. "I suggest you don't get on this teacher's nerves, he is very mean."

"Great way to start the day." Manic sighed. 

"Noted." Sonia chuckled at her brother. "Aww, come on, you'll sleep earlier today, just try to keep yourself awake." She patted his back.

"Well to be fair, he doesn't assign us homework, he makes us do group projects though." Silver told them as they began walking. 

"That doesn't sound that bad." The azure one mumbled, not being comfortable talking to anyone.

"Yeah, he's okay." The green hedgehog agreed as he followed. 

"Well, we are here. You should wait next to his desk until everyone is here so you can take a seat in the empty spots." Silver said.

"Okay." Sonia nodded and stood next to the door with her brothers.

As the students started walking in the classroom, many students looked at the triplets in confusion, since they haven't seen them before. 

"I'm not comfortable…" The blue one mumbled to his siblings as he saw everyone staring at them. He gulped and looked around at the class until his eyes landed on a certain ebony hedgehog.

He was the last one to walk in the class, talking to a white bat, he looked serious and strong, his fur and quills were black with red stripes on the end of his quills, arms and legs.

This made the smaller one lightly blush then looked down. He had not gotten a crush on anyone for a very long time. He glanced back at the door when he saw that the teacher walked in. He began walking to the empty seats not wanting to get called by the teacher. He did not do well talking in front of others.

His siblings followed him and sat next to him, letting him sit in the middle. 

"I'm so tired…" Manic whispered and rested back on his seat. "I want to go home…" 

"Don't sit down just yet." The teacher called out the triplets. "I was aware that I was going to have new students. Please stand up and tell us who you are." The teacher sat down at his desk and crossed his arms.

"Oh boy." Manic sighed quietly and stood up. "I'm Manic." He looked at the teacher. "Can I sit now?" 

"Yeah whatever." It was clear the teacher wasn't in the mood and looked at the blue one. 

"I-" The blue one stood up. "I- My name is S-Sonic…" He said a little too low making the teacher sigh and told him to speak up. "My name is Sonic…" He said again a little louder and sat back down. 

Manic patted Sonic's back lightly, knowing he wasn't comfortable. 

"My name is Sonia." The pink hedgehog said and sat down, a little annoyed at the teacher's attitude. 

"This sucks…" The azure one mumbled and rested his head down as he blushed from embarrassment.

"I know bro." The green one chuckled quietly. "It's over now." He glanced around and noticed that the ebony hedgehog was looking at his sister. He instantly got annoyed and looked at the teacher who started his class.

The azure one groaned quietly and sighed then started paying attention to class. He glanced at the ebony one and rolled his eyes thinking he was looking at his sister. He kicked his brother in the leg and passed him a note. 'He's on the list.' 

'The black and red one?' Manic wrote back, he wasn't paying attention to class since he didn't get enough sleep. 

Sonic nodded instead of passing a note back. He didn't want the teacher to call them back.

Manic chuckled quietly and nodded as well, he had his legs crossed and his arm over his brother's chair, trying to get comfortable.

"Did you see what the new girl is wearing? Her clothes are so expensive!" The white bat said lowly at her best friend. 

"Yeah, totally…" The ebony hedgehog mumbled as he walked.

"Come with me, you can get her under the sheets after I talk to her." Rouge softly chuckled. "I saw you were already eyeing her out in class~"

"I was?" Shadow raised a brow and quickly shook his head. "I mean, yes, go talk to her. I'll be right behind you." He snapped out of his thoughts. 

The bat nodded and quickly flew to the triplets who were being guided to their next class by Silver and Tails. "Hey there~"

"Sup?" Manic looked at the bat and waved at her.

"Hi." Sonia smiled softly, she noticed Shadow and lowered her ears very slightly. 

"Rouge, Shadow, what are you doing here?" The five quilled hedgehog asked, knowing that they didn't usually go for the newbies until days after. 

"I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, what's your name again, sweetie~?" The white bat looked at her outfit and walked closer to her. 

Sonic stood beside Manic, being a bit uncomfortable that he was so close to the ebony one. His heart started beating fast but that didn't stop him from making sure they wouldn't do anything to his sister. He looked at his brother wondering what to do.

"My name is Sonia." The pink smiled. "And yours?" She tried to avoid making eye contact with Shadow. 

The ebony hedgehog stood beside his best friend, looking at the two boys when he realized that Manic was glaring at him. He rolled his eyes and looked in front of him after he looked at the azure one. 

"I'm so tired of this." The azure one groaned, only audible for his brother, Shadow and Rouge. 

"Uh, Sonia, I don't think you should-" The silver hedgehog tried to stop Sonia from talking to them. Already knowing how they were. 

"My name is Rouge." The white bat quickly cut him off and glared lightly at Silver. "And he is Shadow." She heard what the azure one said but decided not to pay much attention to it. "I really love your outfit and your make up~ Where are you from?" 

"We're from a place not far from here." Manic answered for his sister and stood next to her. "We moved in not too long ago." 

Shadow was still quiet as he looked at Sonia, waiting for Rouge to do her thing and take them away from the pink hedgehog. 

"Guys." The azure one finally spoke out loud, it was clear and he didn't stutter like in class. "Let's just-" He was cut up and he quickly tensed up when Rouge looked at him and smiled then walked closer making the azure one lower his ears since he didn't like talking to others. 

"What's your name, Hun~?" She looked at him up and down. 

"I-I uh-" He glanced at his brother for help. 

"He's Sonic." Manic raised a brow at the bat at the way she looked at his brother. "Is there something you want from us?" 

"Well, you guys are new here, I just want to get to know you all better." She smiled at the green one, slightly signaling her best friend to talk to Sonia since Silver and Tails were talking a few steps away from them. 

"W-we just got here… We just… Want to get through the day and go home…" The azure one rubbed his face, being exhausted since they had not slept much nor had they eaten breakfast before they left.

"Yeah, we're all really tired." Manic nodded at what Sonic said. 

Shadow saw that Sonia was alone and walked to her. "Hey." 

"H-hey…" Sonia lightly blushed and looked at Shadow. 

The white bat kept the boys entertained by asking questions about them. "So~ Tell me something about you~" She started being a little flirty with the green hedgehog making the azure one roll his eyes. He knew his brother was gay and his siblings knew Sonic was gay as well so he was wondering what Manic would do to get out of that situation with Rouge. 

Manic noticed that and decided to mess around a bit. "Well, I play the drums." He took a step closer to her. 

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?" The ebony hedgehog hummed. "Maybe I can show you around?" 

The azure one rolled his eyes at this and rubbed his face. He looked around and growled lowly once he saw Shadow talking to Sonia. He walked to her and got in front of her, too close to the ebony one.

Shadow raised a brow and crossed his arms. "Can I help you?" 

"Yes, by not talking to my sister." The azure one growled and looked at Manic. "Bro, let's go to class." He grabbed his wrist and pulled him alone then walked to Silver and Tails as he made sure Sonia was with them as well.

"Since when did the shy boy know how to growl?" The ebony hedgehog scoffed.

"Woah, bro. Chill." Manic stood in front of his brother. "You could've just told me that he was talking to Sonia, I know you don't like talking to others." He said lowly. 

"I don't unless it's related to you guys. Let's just go to class. I am tired." He sighed. 

"Right, it's this way." Silver guided them. 

The triplets followed Silver quietly. Manic wanted to go home and sleep, Sonic as well, but Sonia was thinking about what the ebony hedgehog asked her.

"This is the cafeteria, you guys can sit at our table if you want. Get to know our friends." Silver smiled at the triplets. "Lets go to the lunch line before it gets longer."

"Sure." Sonia smiled and followed her new friends to the line. 

"Man, I really wanted to mess with that bat." Manic chuckled. "She was asking for it." 

"Why didn't you tell her you're gay?" The azure one chuckled softly. "She's scary." He shook his head.

"Meh, she's nothing in front of Scourge." The green hedgehog shrugged. "Maybe I can ask her out and tell Scourge to tell her that I'm gay." He smirked. "That'd be golden." 

"Manic, no." Sonia glared at her brother. "That's cruel." 

"Please don't do that." Sonic chuckled and picked from the food choices they had and put it in the tray. He waited for his siblings, Tails and Silver to get out then followed their guides to a table. 

"Whatever." Manic chuckled. "I believe it's a dope idea." He looked at the table were Tails and Silver sat.

There was a light pink hedgehog with a red headband and dress, sitting next to a purple cat with a darker shade of purple dress and shoes. Across from them was sitting a red echidna with white gloves that had spikes on his knuckles. 

The azure one sat down and put the tray down. He was between Sonia and Manic. "Hey guys, these are Sonia, Manic and Sonic, the new students. Guys, these are Amy, Blaze and Knuckles." 

"Hi… Nice to meet you…" The azure one smiled softly being uncomfortable around a lot of people. 

"Hi guys." Amy waved at them. "You're the new students, right?" 

"That's right." Sonia chuckled. "This place is huge , it'll take us a while until we get used to it." 

"You'll be confused for a long time. It took me two months to find the cafeteria." Knuckles said. "You're lucky you have Tails and Silver to help you." 

"Yeah, they bumped into Shadow and Rouge already." Silver mumbled. 

"Sonia?" A girls voice was heard from across the cafeteria. This caught the triplets attention since they recognized the voice. 

"Was that-?" The azure one started then was quickly tackled back into his seat by Sally Acorn, one of the most popular girls from school. This caught everyone's attention in the cafeteria since Sally never really talked to anyone other than the popular kids. 

"Sally!?" Sonia smiled brightly and laughed then stood up to hug her. "It's been so long!" 

"Sally!" Sonic laughed after Sonia pulled her away from her. "You come here? Thank chaos, now I'm more calm." 

"I didn't know you guys transferred. Since when? How's your mom and your uncle?" She hugged Sonia then pulled away and hugged Manic. 

"Um… Do you guys know each other?" Blaze asked confused. 

"Yeah, since we were little." Manic answered as he hugged back.

"They're fine. How about your father?" Sonia asked. 

"He's fine, I haven't been living with him for a while now." Sally pulled away and smiled at them. "Oh my chaos, it's been so long." 

As the triplets talked with the chipmunk, the white bat was looking at them from their table. "Sally knows them? They look to be so close. Do you think one of the boys is dating her?" The bat asked Mephiles and Shadow.

"Who cares, that blue boy sure is annoying though." Shadow rolled his eyes. "He suddenly got the courage to talk." He chuckled. "Such a loser." 

"Don't tell me you tried to get the new girl in the sheets." Mephiles raised a brow. "Didn't you make enough girls lose their virginity already?" He asked in annoyance.

"Did you like one of them?" The white bat raised a brow. "Actually, why don't YOU try to get Sonia? I think you need it." She then looked back at Shadow. "I hope Sally isn't dating Manic. It did surprise me when I heard the blue one growl." 

"He better not do that again, I'm not scared to beat his ass." Shadow rested back on his seat. "Such an idiot." He repeated. 

"Hell no, I'm not really into destroying other people's lives." Mephiles rolled his eyes. "Why don't you let her be? Many people fear you as it is." 

"I'm not destroying their lives, they agree to come over, they get what they wanted, then leave." The ebony hedgehog glared at his friend then looked at Rouge. "Do you like that green hedgehog?" 

"I think he's pretty cute. Just remember that if you fight the blue one, the girl will not want to go with you." The bat said.

"That's her problem." Shadow shrugged. 

"I'm getting some mixed signals from you. What exactly do you want to do?" Mephiles raised a brow. 

"Do you want to get with her or not, Hun?" Rouge looked at him confused. 

"I do, but at the same time I don't care." The ebony hedgehog chuckled. "I can find toys at the club as well." 

"I was thinking of going next week but you should take Mephiles with you tonight, he needs it. I'm sure." Rouge chuckled.

"I'll pass." Mephiles quickly said.

"But why?" Shadow groaned. "You need to get laid some time." 

"Come on, you're making us think you're gay. Or do you already have a girlfriend and she doesn't let you go out?" Rouge joked.

"I'm not gay. I don't have a girlfriend. I just want to stay like this. Problem?" Mephiles looked away and crossed his arms.

"Hm. Sure." Shadow hummed, not convinced at what his friend said. "Anyway. Rouge, you should go and ask that green hedgehog out, that might make it easier for me to get to Sonia."

"Yeah, specially since Sally has the blue one distracted already." She chuckled once she saw Sally holding Sonic's hand and making him smile and laugh. "Well at least she isn't going out with Manic."

"Yeah, whatever." Shadow stood up and stretched. "Go ask him out." 

Rouge stood up and walked to the triplets. "Hey again~ Can I talk to you Manic?" She smiled sweetly hoping Sally wouldn't butt in.

Manic looked at the bat and smirked. "Sure." He chuckled. "What's up?"

"Oh boy." The blue one rubbed his face as he saw Rouge guiding him a bit far from their table. 

"Do you want to go out after school?" Rouge stayed close to the green one.

"Sure. Can I bring my siblings too? Or maybe if you want you can meet my boyfriend. He loves meeting new people." Manic hummed and smirked. 

"What?" Rouge glared lightly at him. "Forget it." She groaned and flew back to her group. "Manic is gay." She mumbled to Mephiles. "And has a boyfriend."

"Hey." Shadow tapped on Sonia's shoulder when Manic left with Rouge.

Sonia was about to turn around, when Sally walked in front of her and glared at Shadow. "Hey, Shadow~" She crossed her arms. "Do you need anything?" 

"Please don't fight, I don't want to have to get in the middle to stop you guys." Silver groaned. 

"Fight? Sal, do you know him?." Sonic sighed just wanting to go home. He already knew the way Sally was, already knowing that they should stay away from Shadow by the way Sally was acting. 

"Oh, we won't fight unless mister Handsome over here wants to." Sally growled lowly at the ebony hedgehog. 

"I'm not scared of you, Rat." Shadow growled back. 

This made Sonic growl. "Why is everyone in this school such an asshole?" He pushed Sonia and Sally away. "Don't mess with my family." He considered Sally as part of their family since they've known her since kids. He would do anything for them. 

"Don't test me, Hedgehog." Shadow tightened his fist. "I don't care if you're new, you should know not to mess with me." He was about to punch the azure one, when Silver used his telekinesis to stop him. 

"Alright Shadow. Enough." He sighed. "Go back to your table before I call the principal."

The azure one was still standing in front of Sally and Sonia. He did not flinch, he knew he could have used his speed to dodge the hit either way since no one from that school knew his abilities yet. "Leave us alone." He rolled his eyes and turned to look at Sally and Sonia. 

He wasn't so worried about getting into a fight since his uncle always made them train and fight with the guards when they were at the castle in case of an emergency. He kept his guard up in case Shadow tried anything.

This pissed off Shadow, since no one had the courage to stand up against him before, and he didn't like it. "You're really annoying, you know that?" He growled louder. 

"Shadow!" Tails glared at the ebony hedgehog. "Enough." He repeated, making him roll his eyes and leave. 

"Finally." The azure one sat down and sighed. His heart was beating fast since he had gotten everyone's attention in the cafeteria. He hated when everyone looked at him but he would completely forget about it if anyone tried to mess with his family.

"Dude. I was gone for two seconds and you almost started a fight?" Manic walked to them when Shadow left. "Are you kidding?" 

"Rather it be me than Sonia or Sally. Plus, I could had dodged his punches. I'm faster but thanks to Silver I didn't have to." He got a bit more comfortable with them.

"Well we're stronger." Sally sat next to Sonia. "But thanks." 

"You've got some nerves, Sonic." Knuckles chuckled. "No one has stood up against Shadow." 

"No wonder he was so mad." He rubbed his face. "But I rather not do that again." He took a deep breath. "Who is he? Why were you so mad about him?" He asked Sally. 

"He's a player. He just wants to get every girl in the sheets." Sally explained and hugged Sonia. "Please don't go with him. He will leave you when he gets what he wants." 

"This school sucks. No offense." He chuckled and picked at his food. He was hungry but he wasn't in the mood anymore. "We won't let Sonia near him, Sal. Don't worry." 

"Well you suddenly became a talker." Tails smiled. "That's good, I'm sorry you had to deal with that, Shadow usually does that before anyone tells the girl what he really wants. Don't leave your sister alone with him." 

"We won't…"  The azure one sighed.

"Yeah, she ain't going near him." Manic crossed his arms. "Right sis?" 

"Right. I'm not." Sonia nodded.
