It was finally the night of the party and the garden was already filled by the guests as it was already 7 PM.

Y/n and Jimin arranged everything before walking into the garden, where everyone were.

Jin and Jisoo saw them and smiled happily.

Jisoo directly ran to Jimin and Y/n and hugged them tightly.

Y/n: Yah yah, don't run in this state.

Jisoo pulled away from them while smiling widely.

Jisoo: I'm so happy that you both arranged this for me! Thank you so much!

Jimin: Noona, this is nothing. Even if you ask our life then we will give it to you.

Jisoo went in awe.

Y/n: Now go and enjoy, we still have little works to do.

Then Jin yelled from afar.

Jisoo soon walked away and Jimin turned to Y/n.

Y/n smiled shyly while looking away as he put a strand of her hair behind her ear.

Jimin: Why are you being shy?

Y/n: I'm not...

She said while avoiding the eye contact.

Suddently someone appeared out of nowhere and jump on them both, making them gasp in fear.

They looked up and it was none other than Jungkook.

He shot to them his bunny smile.

Jimin: Yah, haven't you seen your heavy muscles!? Gosh my shoulder!

He said while massaging his painful shoulder.

Jungkook laughed.

Jungkook: Sorry.

He then looked at Y/n and for some time, he went shock.

Jungkook: Y/n, is that you?!

Y/n chuckled.

Y/n: Yes, it's me.

He then took her hand and spinned her body to see her from head to toe.

Jungkook: Wow, you are looking amazing.

He said in a whisper tone, still shocked.

Y/n: Thank you.

They smiled to each other and Jimin added.

Jimin: Ok, then enjoy the party!

He said and Jungkook nodded.

But before Jimin and Y/n could go away, Jungkook suddently remembered about Taehyung.

He remembered that Taehyung had plans to confess to Y/n.

He tried to tell him since a whole week but couldn't as Jimin was extremely busy.

Jungkook suddently spoke.

Jungkook: Hyung?

Jimin stopped and turned to him while humming.

Jungkook: Can we talk for 2 seconds?

Jimin: Is it important?

Jungkook nodded.

Jimin looked at Y/n.

Jimin: Y/n enjoy the party, i'm coming back.

She nodded and Jimin and Jungkook left the garden.

They walked inside of the house and entered the living room.

Jimin: So tell me, what is it?

Jungkook breathed out.

Jungkook: Hyung, today...

The older frowned.

Jimin: Today what?

Jungkook: Today, Taehyung will propose to Y/n...

Jimin widened his eyes.

Jimin: What?!

Jungkook looked down while nodding.

Jimin: And this is now that you are telling me this?!

He looked at him with a shocked expression.

Jungkook: Hyung! Since a whole week i'm trying to tell you this but you were too busy to let me talk to you!!

Jimin sighed in disbelieve and passed his hands through his hair in tension.

He whispered the last words as his voice cracked.

Jungkook felt really bad for him.

Jungkook: Don't worry, Y/n is not a child. She can handle everything very nicely.

Y/n was walking around, seeing if everything was going nicely.

Suddently, she felt a tap on her shoulder and frowned before turning around.

It was Taehyung.

She smiled widely which made his heart melt.

Y/n: Taehyung!! You finally came!

She took out her hand for a shake and he looked at it.

Taehyung: If only she could hug me instead of shaking our hands...

He sighed internally sadly and brought his hand to her before joining them.

They smiled to each other and Y/n pulled away her hand from his.

Then Taehyung noticed how she was looking amazingly beautiful in her dress.

Taehyung: Erm...you are looking beautiful.

Y/n chuckled.

Y/n: That's so sweet of you, same to you.

Her words made Taehyung's heart beat faster than usual.

Y/n: Ok then enjoy the party, i have some work to check.

She handed him a glass of wine and walked away.

Taehyung looked at her walking figure fading away and smiled slightly.

Taehyung: Everything depends on this night, or we can say you.

Y/n finally arrived to the living room while searching for Jimin and Jungkook everywhere.

When her eyes fell on the boys, she rolled her eyes before walking to them.

Y/n: Come on guys!! I searched for you both everywhere!

The men looked at her and quickly straightened their positions.

Y/n stood in front of them and looked at them, waiting for them to say something.

There was a full silence so Jungkook decided to speak.

Jungkook: Y/n, we were discussing about a business meeting.

Y/n: Always work, work and work. Whatever, now let's go back to the garden.

She grabbed Jimin's arm and tried to pull him with her but he didn't move.

She frowned and looked at him.

Jimin looked at Jungkook and gestured him to go away.

The younger nodded and left them alone.

Y/n looked at Jungkook in confusion then at Jimin before asking.

Y/n: What's wrong? Don't you wanna go to the party?

Jimin grabbed her both shoulders and spoke in a soft tone.

She nodded.

Y/n: Yeah he came and we also talked to each other.

She smiled happily.

Her smile suddently dropped.

Jimin saw her expressions and felt only hurt.

She gulped down the knot which was in her throat.

He sighed.

Y/n: But Jimin, he is a such a nice guy. I feel really happy to talk with him.

Jimin: You are too innocent to understand what this world and your life is holding down for you, Y/n!!!

He raised his voice a little bit.

Y/n flinched slightly as she felt scared by him for the very first time.

Jimin soon realised what he just did and looked at Y/n, shocked.

Y/n nodded with glossy eyes.

Y/n: O-Ok...as you wish. I will not approach him.

She slowly pushed his hands away from her shoulders and started to walk away.

Jimin quickly grabbed her hand to stop her.

Jimin: Y/n...look i-i'm sorry. This was not what i meant.

Y/n pulled away her hand from his grip.

Y/n: The cake is about to be cut. Let's go.

With that she walked away while wipping her tears and Jimin just cursed at himself.

Jimin: God, Jimin!! You are so fucking dumb!

He sighed and followed her quickly.

As he arrived, he saw the waiters bringing the cake in the middle of the garden.

But this was not his main target.

He wanted to find Y/n.

He looked around until he found her in a corner, all alone.

He was about to walk to her but Jungkook instead did.

He saw from afar the situation and somehow understood what happened; Jungkook saw that she was sad so he made her laugh.

Jimin breathed out in relieve and saw them walking to Jin and Jisoo.

He too decided to do the same and walked to the birthday girl.

Now Jin and Jisoo were in front of the cake, with Jungkook and Y/n by Jin's side and Jimin and Taehyung by Jisoo's side.

Jimin extended to the couple a knife and they grabbed it together while smiling widely.

Soon everyone started to sing the birthday song for Jisoo.

The cake got finally cut and both of them grabbed a piece of cake before making eat it to each other.

Jin then fed the cake to Jungkook and Y/n as Jisoo fed to Jimin and Taehyung.

Jungkook: Some music please!!! Let's enjoy!!

Jungkook shouted and the DJ turned on the music.

Everyone cheered and started to dance.

Jin, Jisoo, Jimin, Y/n and Taehyung were all shocked to see the sudden changement of the atmosphere.

Jisoo smiled happily and looked at Jin and Jimin before grabbing their hands.

Jisoo: Come, let's dance!!

The men widened their eyes as she pulled them with her, without waiting for their response.

Jungkook too left from there and walked on the stage, he stood beside the DJ and took the mic before rapping and dancing.

Now only Y/n and Taehyung were left alone, beside the cut cake.

Taehyung looked at her and decided to do what he wanted to since a long time ago.

Meanwhile Y/n looked around while smiling as she saw everyone dancing happily.

Especially Jimin, Jin and Jisoo.

But then her eyes fell on Taehyung who was already looking at her.

She suddently felt unconfortable since Jimin told her to stay away from him.

She didn't know the reason of Jimin's warning but she knew very well that he always wanted her best.

Out of sudden, Taehyung started to approach Y/n and she somehow felt scared, internally.

He arrived to her and stood in front of her silently.

Y/n started to look around to see if Jimin was looking at them but...no, he wasn't.

Taehyung suddently cleared his throat.

Taehyung: Y/n....can w-we t-talk...?

She looked at him silently, not knowing what to do, how to do and what to say.

One more time, she looked at Jimin but still the same visual reply.

She then looked back at Taehyung and smiled slightly.

Y/n: Is it something important? If not then we c-

He cut her and she stood there, speechless.

Jimin: Y/n, stay away from him.

Those words continued to repeat in her mind as she looked at him.

But Taehyung's eyes were also looking too innocent and pure.

She was so confused that she didn't know where to go.

She nodded and he smiled in relieve.

Soon they walked inside of the house and walked upstairs in Y/n's room.

Y/n entered in, followed by Taehyung and she closed the door after them.

Then they walked to the balcony and stood there.

From this balcony, they had a whole view on the whole garden, so the party too.

They could see the guests as they also could look back at them.

Y/n stood there while looking at him silently as Taehyung felt nervous as hell.

Y/n: What was that that important that you wanted to say it to me in privacy?

Taehyung looked down while playing with his fingers.

He was scared of her rejection, but still somewhere in his heart he had a hope that she would accept his love.

Y/n looked at him with insisting eyes.

He finally breathed out and started to speak.

Taehyung: Y/n... i don't know how you will react after what i will say to you.

She frowned as he continued.

Taehyung: Since i was little, i never had a family so no one ever taught me how to express my feelings to the others.

Y/n: Can you please come to the point?

She asked in a soft tone, trying not to make him feel bad or unconfortable.

Taehyung: Y/n, I-I....i don't know if my feelings are right or wrong but i will tell you sincerly how i feel.

Y/n didn't feel good about where the situation was going.

Taehyung: Please don't hate me after those words but i just can't stop myself from making this feeling bigger and stronger.

Y/n's heart suddently felt scared and it was only begging to call Jimin.

She whispered as he was still looking down.

Y/n suddently loosed her balance and was about to fall.

Taehyung tried to catch her but she stopped him.

Taehyung's heart ached after hearing what she just said.

Y/n: Please...don't kill my happiness.

Taehyung: But please once, just accept me and i will give you all the happiness that you deserve.

Y/n: Taehyung, the reality is that we can never be together.

Taehyung: What do you mean?

Y/n: I already have someone in my life, and we are happy together.

This sentence was enough to kill Taehyung mercilessly.

Y/n nodded while wipping her tears.

He quickly let go of Jisoo and ran inside of the house.

Jin and Jisoo frowned as he ran without telling them something.

Suddently, Jungkook who was still on the stage, rapping, he saw Jimin running inside of the house.

He sensed something fishy.

He then looked around and to find Y/n and Taehyung while thinking that they were in the garden.

But no, his eyes too fell on Y/n's balcony.

He quickly gave the mic to the DJ and ran behind Jimin.

Meanwhile, Taehyung insisted.

Taehyung: Y/n please, try to understand me.

Y/n shook her head and tried to walk into the room but Taehyung, out of reflex, grabbed Y/n's hand.

Y/n widened her eyes in fear.

Taehyung: Y/n-

Y/n: Leave me, i don't feel confortable!

This was when Jimin entered the room and quickly ran to the balcony only to see Taehyung grabbing Y/n's hand and she, being a crying mess.

Jimin couldn't bear it and clenched his jaw.

Jungkook too arrived from behind and saw the scene before widening his eyes.

Y/n: I said leave me!

Jimin walked to them and grabbed Taehyung's hand forcefully before pushing him away.

Taehyung widened his eyes in shock when he saw him.

Y/n then looked at Jimin and smiled through her tears before hugging him tightly.

Jimin breathed out and hugged her back.

Taehyung looked at them in disbelieve.

He couldn't believe that Y/n was with Jimin, as a life partener.

Y/n: I'm sorry, i'm sorry that i didn't understand you.

She whispered against Jimin's chest and he just shushed her while caressing her head.

Taehyung then looked at Jungkook who grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the balcony as well the room.

Jimin then pull away from her and wipped her tears.

Jimin: Don't worry now, nothing will happen to you.

Y/n nodded but her tears continued to fall.

She felt extremely bad that she thought of Jimin in a negative way.

Y/n: Please...s-sorry....

She again cried and Jimin smiled sadly.

Jimin: Just calm down, i know it was not your fault.

They smiled to each other.

Meanwhile, Jungkook pushed Taehyung in Jimin's room and entered in before closing the door behind them.

Taehyung stumbled before looking at Jungkook.

The younger approached him and spoke in a raised voice.

Jungkook: Hyung, Hyung, Hyung!!! Why didn't you understand when i said to check her background??!!

Taehyung looked away, as some tears left his eyes.

Jungkook: Do you think that i was not concious about your feelings!? I was this is why i told you this!! Me too i didn't want you to be hurt like that!

Taehyung: Then why the hell didn't you tell me that she was with Jimin hyung!!?? Why did you keep giving me secret hints and didn't tell me directly?!?

Taehyung burst out and Jungkook replied.

Jungkook: It was not my job to tell you this!

Taehyung: Then how could i imagine it by myself!?

He started to cry and Jungkook just felt bad.

He approached him and put his hand on his shoulder.

Jungkook: Hyung, she was not meant for you. There is surely someone better destinated for you.

Taehyung whispered.

Taehyung: No one is better than her. I only loved her, truly.

Jungkook sighed.

Jungkook: What will you do now? Will you leave her for her happiness?

Taehyung: I don't know...i can do anything for her happiness. I can even die for her if she wants me to do so.

The younger saw his deep feelings and understood that it was quite hard for him to forget Y/n like this.

Taehyung: But now, i can't, i can't leave her.

He suddently spoke and was about to walk to the door to go to her but Jungkook widened his eyes and stopped him.

Jungkook: Yah!! Where the hell are you going?! You can't go to her!! She is already someone else's, accept this reality.

Taehyung yanked Jungkook's hand away.

Taehyung: I don't give a fuck about this.

He said and burst out of the room and Jungkook stood there with his jaw dropped to the floor.

He never saw this angry side of him nor ever heard a bad word from his mouth.
